Rozenblum Mariya DDS - Endodontist in Hackensack, NJ

Forty-four-year-old Carey Miller doesnt smoke, eats a healthy diet and is proactive about her health, making sure to get all the annual screenings her health care provider recommends. So, on an unassuming day in March 2021 when she saw bright red blood in her stool, it caught her attention.

She wasnt overly concerned at first, but she knew from reading online that bright red blood in feces could be an indicator of colorectal cancer. Even though she knew of no colorectal cancer history in her family, she decided to keep a watch on it. From her reading, she knew that rates of colorectal cancer in people younger than 50 have been increasing, which recently prompted the U.S. Preventative Services Task Forceto recommend beginningscreening for colorectal cancer at age 45instead of age 50.

An endoscopic ultrasound was scheduled withRosario Ligresti, M.D., chief of the gastroenterology division at Hackensack University Medical Center, in late May. The endoscopic ultrasound provided a detailed visualization of the tumor so that the multidisciplinary team at the hospital could understand how deep and large it was and whether the cancer had spread to any lymph nodes.

We were able to get all the staging information and then connect her to the appropriate management teamthe surgeons and oncologistspretty quickly, Dr. Ligresti says. With the staging information and the input of the multidisciplinary team, you really have a good picture of the tumor in the best possible way before you get to the operating room.

Because Carey had a small, localized tumor, the multidisciplinary team assessed that she didnt need chemotherapy or radiation to shrink the tumor before surgery; she could go directly to surgery, which she did. In early June, she had a minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery that removed the cancerous tumor and more than 50 lymph nodes. She was able to go home two days later.

Her surgeon,Howard Ross, M.D., removed all of the cancer so she didnt need any radiation or chemotherapy following surgery either. She will need annual colonoscopies going forward. After her surgical incisions healed, she returned to her regular routines and diet without any restrictions.

Im just thankful, she says. This could have been so much worse if not caught early. And I cant say enough about Hackensack. My stay there was great. The nursesall of the hospital staffwere just wonderful. They made a stressful time a little bit easier to deal with because everyone was so caring and sympathetic.

Today, October 18, 2022, I visited the office of Dr. M. Rosenblum. The hall is small but cozy enough. At the reception, I was met by 2 pretty, friendly employees who helped me figure out my questions and offered me options that were convenient for me. Dr. Rosenblum was very professional. She studied my problem and gave me a solution to fix it. There was no pain at all, even from injections. All actions of the doctor are verified and professional. After the procedures were carried out, the office employee told me what actions I needed in the future. nice service, great job! thanks to the doctor and his staff. I will recommend to friends. Yes, the doctor speaks Russian and Ukrainian.

I'm confused about the reviews because some are complaining about the insurance and don't understand not every case is cut and dry. Thankfully mine were. The referral your dentist with x rays and a description of what is wrong with your tooth for a root canal is whst insurance sees for approval. I've had 9 root canals and not once has my insurance disapproved them. Nor the crown. It's your job to come with the referral from your dentist. Your job to take care of that tooth until the crown is set. I hate people that blame others because they didn't carry their end of the deal. If your primary dentist doesn't have an idea of what's going on and he just refers you to the endodontist and you walk in with little to no information then don't expect them to know. The endodontist is where you go when you know whats going on what tooth and it needs a root canal. Your primary is the one who should have the idea and send you with knowledge about your tooth. 3 root canals and 3 successfully restored teeth. Literally just had last one done oct 14th 2022. So crown is still being done but she has always done a great job. Super fast and efficient. I don't know why but I psychd myself out over getting numb. I'm not a fan of not feeling my face despite what rappers say. But other than that my experience was a 5 and all staff were great

I'd give 0 if I could. Very rude. Insensitive to my child! No manners! I was referred to the office to give my child a root canal and she told me he didn't need one. Then I told her he's complaining about pain and there's a hole then she said ohh ok. Then did the root canal. She looked at me up and down at my attire as I wear modest clothes and a scarf. She was complaining how she had to be at work during covid and how she has a family at home as if I didn't have a family at home. My son was in pain and also terrified and was crying while getting the anesthesia shot and she was saying, "your a good actor I'm not even doing anything and your crying! video tape him and let him see!" Great place! It was my first time there. They took me at my appointment time and the staff was very nice and pleasant. The dentist explained what needed to be done and informed me of what could happen before starting my procedure. I will definitely go here again and would also recommend this place to everyone.

I literally wish I could give this endodontist a 0 star review. I am very upset with the way my services went. I got a root canal done by her and she did it completely wrong. I went to my dentist to get the molding done for my crown to be completed and my dentist told me the root canal was not complete. He said the canal is not all the way to the apex of the tooth. With that being said, I can't get the crown done because my insurance denied it due to the root canal being done wrong. On top of this the tooth is now INFECTED and I have to get it extracted! This is one of my biggest nightmares ever of having to get one of my teeth extracted and that's what it came to. DO NOT GO TO THIS ENDODONTIST. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECCOMEND HER.

Most rude and unprofessional doctor ever. First, she got upset that the dentist I visited previously did not send a referral letter. This is valid. However, I do not know why she chose to lash out at me for a mistake that I did not make. She was angry that it took a while for the other dentistry to fax the information - angry because she wanted to leave and drop off her daughter at school in Philadelphia. Then when I asked her for more information and for assistance to shave down a tooth so I would not be in pain - she refused to because she had no time to do so. She wanted to go home and had already changed to leave the office. This is RIDICULOUS to me because I drove from State College to New Jersey ON MY OWN. State College is FIVE HOURS away from New Jersey. I drove to New Jersey for my appointment with her - and yet, she was ROLLING HER EYES and sighing in front of me. While I was telling her that I was in discomfort and pain. Most condescending, patronizing, and rude woman I have ever met. Be a better PERSON.

I had my first root canal experience today with Dr. Rozenblum. She had a wonderful bedside manner and was very accommodating to my needs. Her staff was very friendly and made me feel welcome. During the procedure Dr Rozenblum and her assistant did a wonderful job at soothing my anxiety and assuring me everything was alright. They talked me through what they were doing and checked on me to see if I was in any pain. I don't always have an easy time at dentists due to a heart condition preventing me from having epinephrine, and yet I had no pain at all. The experience was a lot easier than I had imagined and I would recommend her to anyone needing a root canal. Thank you!

Today it was my first time visiting Dr Rozenblum. I was such a difficult patent, and I truly apologize for that. Dr Rozenblum and the staff where super nice and understanding. I appreciate them all and I just wish that I could send a gift or so for having a hard time with me. A big plus, I literally just filled out the paperwork and got in right away. Thank you again!
