In an effort to provide the highest quality dentistry in the most relaxing atmosphere, Dr. Kevin Rhodes set out to establish his own private practice. After over 5 years of practice in San Antonio, Dr. Rhodes realized his dream and opened RoyalVista Dental. He relocated to Round Rock in 2010 with his wife Emily (who has a PhD. in genetics hes just so proud of her) and three young children, two daughters, Claire and Allison, and a son named William.
Born and raised in Ft. Worth, Texas, he attended Fort Worth Christian High School, followed byAbilene Christian University. There he graduated magna cum laude with honors, earning a bachelors degree in biology. He then completed his doctorate of dental surgery in 2005 from theUniversity of Texas Health Science Centerat San Antonio with honors. He is relentless in pursuing the latest research to find proven evidence based technology and procedures to offer his patients. He continually studies and participates in extra continuing education courses to best serve his patients. You will appreciate his natural gift for teaching and conveying needs to patients.
In addition to general dentistry, he has considerable experience in cosmetic and implant dentistry as well asother surgical proceduresthat would generally be referred out from other offices. His philosophy of care and ethical dealings with patients are just what youve been looking for. He is known for being very gentle, putting you (the patient) first, taking time to explain your needs and helping to find the best way to reach the desired goal. Christinejoined our team in July. She has been in the dental field for over 20 years and has experience in all aspects of dentistry. Christine has been married to he husband, Neale, for nineteen years. In her free time you can find Christine walking Town Lake or spending time with her family.I enjoy answering any and all questions regarding dental concerns.
Katie was raised right here in Round Rock, TX. She hasthe bright shining voice you'll likely hear when you call.She and her husband have one beautiful baby girl. Katie is a blessing to our team and I'd have her here just for her positive energy if nothing else.
Kimwas born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She moved to the Austin area in 2011 to work with Dr. Rhodes. Kim has been Dr. Rhodes ' dental assistant and 'right-hand' since he graduated dental school in 2005. We are so excited that she decided to join us at Royal Vista Dental. Our team would not have been complete without her. Kim always has a smile on her face and remembers every patient by name. Her gentle nature and compassion for patients comes through in everything she does.
Marissa is one of the most talented hygienists out there. She's worked together with Dr. Rhodes for over a decade. She is extremely gentle and patient's love her. Marissa was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She's married and is a dedicated mother. She enjoys spending lots of time with family and friends.

If you're looking for a dentist, than your search is over! I've had dental issues since forever and Dr. Rhodes has worked me in every time quickly and efficiently. Everyone on staff is warm, friendly and approachable and the whole experience is about as perfect as can be!

Let me quickly say that if you are looking for the absolute best dentist, LOOK NO FURTHER. Dr. Rhodes and the staff at Royal Vista Dental are so perfectly aligned in their mission to provide an incredible service to the community. My family has been going here for years, and we can't say enough good things about Dr. Rhodes, Christine, the staff and the entire experience top to bottom. When you walk through the doors for the first time, you'll see what I mean. There are plenty of good dentists out there, I'm sure ... but Dr. Rhodes is a GREAT dentist and Royal Vista Dental the absolute gold standard.

Fantastic Dentist! I was referred to Dr Rhodes from a friend and I am so thankful I was. He is very knowledgeable and very personal. You can also tell he has my best interest and I know I will be taken care of. His staff is amazing from the minute you walk in until you leave. Thank you

Amazing people! Going to the dentist has never been something I looked forward to and they have changed that for me. I no longer get anxious about needing my teeth cleaned or repaired. They make you feel at home and never pressure to do things except when its really important to my health. They work with me to ensure I get the best solution to my dental issue regardless of what my insurance covers or not. Dr. Rhodes truly cares about doing what's right not just what's covered. He even worked over the weekend on his days off to provide a solution for my daughter who was home from college and had only a few days to get it done. Can't say enough good things about he and his staff!

My daughter turned 18 and "graduated" from her pediatric dentist. I found Dr. Rhodes and Christine, and am so glad to have found such compassionate and caring people. Brandi did an excellent job at taking care of my daughter and explained things well. I can't say enough about their office. I am so glad to have Dr. Rhodes and his team taking care of us! I highly recommend them!

This office ROCKS!!!!!!!!!! The care and concern Dr Rhodes has for us as patients is A+++++++++ I have lived all over the world and had my fair share of dentists (being military) , from someone who has bad experiences in the past with dentist. I can honestly say he has made me feel at ease and so comfortable in his chair!!!!!!! Thid place is a notch above the rest!!!!! I wish I could give 1000 stars not just 5. They treat our Service dog like family. The way the office manager Christine treated us from the moment we walked in the door was like we were family. Dr Rhodes and Kim ( dental tech) are AMAZING!!!! Marissa is so sweet and compassionate she's my hygienist. Me and my husband are so comfortable in his chair. Dr Rhodes went up and above to accommodate and take care of my husband he's a 100% disabled war veteran that suffers from severe ptsd.( which has been my better half for 34 years) He is our dentist as long as he will have us!!!! Don't look any further this office will be our family office from here on out. A+A+A+A+A+A+A+A+A+A+ He cares and he gives his very best, he has the best equipment and my hubby loves the coffee bar.

Dr. Rhodes and his staff are experts, act with integrity, and they make sure they get things right. They are not in my network, but I trust them and will not go anywhere else. Changing dentists is not easy, but if you have any doubt about your current dentist, give Dr. Rhodes a chance, here is my story (and why I changed dentists): Three years ago my previous dentist crowned two molars and afterward they always became sensitive when I ate anything that wasn't a sandwich. Every 6 months I mentioned it and they kept grinding the good teeth above it, prescribing anti-inflammatory pills, and finally a $700 mouth guard. Eventually I thought, crowns are just more sensitive than regular teeth and chewed on the other side. One day I drove down 1431 and saw Dr. Rhodes' office is right between my house and my current dentist and decided, why not get a second opinion? Looking back now I am thinking it was Divine inspiration :) Dr. Rhodes took one look and said the crowns were done wrong: they were too tall and the tops were too thin from adjusting them, and they also did not line up with the way I chew. He also said he would not mind fixing it but the other dentist should fix them for free, now that is integrity! By then I was so impressed with Dr. Rhodes that I had him replace both crowns and for the first time in 3 years I can eat a nice juicy steak and enjoy it with no pain. If you are not 100% happy with your current dentist, you owe it to yourself to drop by Royal Vista Dental, you have nothing to lose.

My husband and I have both been going for about 5 years and I am now going to take my 15 y/o. My husband has bad previous experiences w/ dentists and he really likes and trusts Dr Rhodes. We used to live a mile away, then we moved 30 minutes away and we still drive here, would never go any place else. He is so kind and gentle and all the staff are amazing. Many followed him to Austin when he moved from San Antonio, he must also be a great boss to work for.
