The physician was very nice. So we're the office staff. But I went in for just a consult. Told them I had had recent pano exray and xrays could they get the results from previous dentist. Oh no! No issue. We won't charge you for these. Comes with the free consult. Also, before making the appointment I called ahead to see if they had reasonable payment arrangements. Oh yes of course we do! Now, I have a bone disease where I fight my own bones. Like reject them. They told me I had to have a 10k surgery for cadaver bones to be put in before implants. I've been told by my BONE SPECIALIST to not have that done ever. I will reject it as I have my own bones. So I said that. But, instead it was ignored as if I was the same as every patient. I was also told with screwing in the implant my bones may "over correct and I may get a mass where the implant is" by my bone specialist . No concern to this dentist. Just get what I want you to get was the general conversation. So then came the price. 33 thousand dollars with a low low payment of 4 thousand down and 2 thousand a month. And yes all of this was necessary to save my teeth. Oh and had to sign that it may not work anyway but that I would pay the money anyway. By the way it takes TWO YEARS, for the entire process. OK so affordable? No. Get your new smile today? No. Have to wear dentures or temporary crowns, In 2 years after wearing dentures for that amount of time which you also have to pay for separately. So NOT AFFORDABLE, NO GET YOUR SMILE TODAY (unless dentures are just fine to wear) , AND LIMITED KNOWLEDGE OF PERSONS WITH RARE BONE DISORDERS. Ended up having to pay for the images and the consult for NOTHING. Here I am 2 years later and Dental Depot has made my smile very nice with no dentures for affordable cost and the effects were immediate not 2 years in the making. So 3 stars since they were nice. But otherwise would not recommend unless you have lots of cash upfront and want to wait 2 years for results. Big let down from the initial phone conversation. Now if you are wealthy and no concern over wearing false teeth for 2 years until they make sure it's even going to work, then I guess this is the place for you. BTW, if I do end up getting implants I'll go to Mexico where they put the implant in and screw the teeth in a week later for 1/4 of the price with great results I've personally seen 4 times in "real life". Good luck finding an affordable quick place if you need implants.

Royal Oak was recommended to me by my best friend. I called them and immediately they got me in to fix my broken tooth. I'm always anxious and nervous I have anxiety attacks when I go to the dentist, but as soon as I walked through that door, I felt a Is overwhelming feeling of comfort and warmth. From Cathy the front desk staff to Ashley the dental assistant and Doctor Tran, they all made me feel at ease. They are amazing. I would give this place a 1000 stars if I could. I love Royal Oak family dentist. Thank you all!

This is hard for me. I really like the people I meet Ive had a fear of dentist since I was in my 20s he pulled my tooth all the whike I'm telling him it hurt. Royal oaks made me feel very comfortable I'm 60. My first and second visit was fine. This third visit is my issue I was sent home with a infection in my front tooth its black.. when numbness wore off my lip was and continued guferring now it's numb my face on that side is feeling weird it's been a few weeks and it gets worse. I'm scared to see anyone. I've never felt this before the nurse gave me a numbing shot there.. I've gotten shot before never felt this scary stuff. Everyone kept telling me you shouldn't have been sent home with no antibiotics so I called a week later and she called some antibiotics. Then I got covid was sick for four weeks so couldn't do anything hoping this would go away it's just getting worse. This is why I have a fear of Dr's of any kind. As for dentist the one fear i have thy concord I was happy then this. I wasn't worried when I went the third time because I knew she wouldn't let me hurt while working on me. But to send me home like that I'm just angry because now it has me so afraid again I'm sitting here with issues that I don't know what to do about I know it arrived from there my lip started grieving that day and it's been a mess every since. If you looked at the xray after I called and sent antibiotics then it had to be infection when I was there. The givering I assumed came from the numbness wearing off not the case because it to many other feeling following behind the givering numbness, weird feeling in my jaw on that side something wrong. So now I don't know which way to go to fix this. Problem. I'm not going to start on the billing issue.

They negotiate coverage down with insurance so it covers less, and they overcharge for the same procedures that cost much less at other places. The end result is that you think you're going in for a basic cleaning that should be fully covered by insurance and would be if they didn't overcharge and cut corners to divert the cost to you, and you walk out with a huge bill anyway.

From the time I entered the door it was the best experience I've ever had at a dentist. Explained all my options and made the entire process easy and as painless as possible.

The staff here is nothing short of amazing! Dr. Tran calmed my nerves and explained everything throughout the entire procedure. I would highly recommend this office to anyone, especially if you're a little apprehensive like I was.

I truly love the medical side of the staff. The setting is great and they are always ensure you are comfortable. Where the 1 star comes from a few things. One an excessive treatment plan for a 5 year old including crowns on baby teeth. Secondly, their priority isn't patient care it's patients money. There was a small amount that was owed from insurance not covering. However, they said they made multiple attempts to reach out. I received one phone call and one mailed statement. I returned a call to pay and they said they'd send a link. The link did not work. Multiple times on multiple browsers. When I reached out to get this resolved the instruction was to wait and they'd let me know when it was fixed or processed. I never heard back yet when my daughter had to go in for an emergency extraction they demanded complete payment that day. They refused a payment plan because their policy states if you have ever had a payment past 90 days due you can't. However, we tried paying once we were made aware there was a balance from a past treatment which means time has past without it being in our control. We were also never told of this policy. They really don't try and help you out and they said it was my responsibility to pay, which is correct. However, it's their responsibility to have working payment sites and when I reach out for help to follow through with help. I really wouldn't recommend for the customer care or customer side of it from the business side of things. I do think the dental staff is great but just a little concerned at their treatment plans and excessive suggestions instead of finding the root cause or overall dental health. Their understanding for their customers all while a 5 year old needed treatment was disrespectful and really showed who they are as a business.

Wow! What a great first experience I had at Royal Oak Family Dental! I am a dentist phobe and have been that way since a dentist treated me poorly at the age of 12. At 63, I hadn't been to the dentist in 18 years, so when my mouth started hurting, I searched through as many reviews and articles I could to find a gentle dentistry office, and Royal Oak came up the winner. The reviews were right! The staff was absolutely wonderful, the atmosphere was fabulous (heated massage chair and a nice warm blanket helped!), and the dentist and hygienist were kind, gentle, and non judgmental. To say I highly recommend them would be an understatement. I've found my new dentist!
