Royal Oak Dental Group grew from a friendship of several US Air Force officers in England and their desire to form a partnership after their time serving together in the military. They acknowledged that one of the greatest benefits of being a dentist in the Air Force was working with colleagues with whom they could collaborate. They were soon joined by two other veterans and all of them relocated to the Triangle area of North Carolina drawn here because of the family-friendly and faith-based culture. I never thought having a cavity filled would be such an enjoyable experience! Dr. Smith, Ms. Carmen, Candice and the entire team were so professional, attentive and helpful in making sure my dental needs were met and that I was comfortable through my entire time in their care. I was recommended to this practice by another medical practice, and I can see why they are so well regarded among their peers, yet, so down-to-earth to treat their patients with a level of care I had only hoped to find when I moved to NC. I am happy to say that Royal Oak has elevated my expectations AND their profession as a whole, and I am happy to call myself a patient among them!

Today was very good pain was very minimum. Dr. Smith did a great job with the numbing it wore off in a timely manner. As always Carmen made sure I was ok constantly asking me if I was ok. Great job thanks!!!!

Dr Smith and Ms. Carmen were absolutely incredible. They were so supportive and caring and knew I was anxious about the treatment, they went above and beyond to make sure I was ok and comfortable. My husband and I were seen to fix 'hack jobs' done by our previous dentist. The hack job that had to be corrected for my husband was pretty extensive, but this caring dynamic duo of professionals were meticulous, patient, thorough and kind. I have never experienced the level of individual care my entire family receives from this practice. I couldn't ask for more, 10 stars.

A crown was dislodged when I brushed my teeth at bedtime. The following afternoon it was replaced by Dr. Baker. He determined that it was intact and no evidence of decay. I am relieved and grateful.
