Royal Oak Dental Group grew from a friendship of several US Air Force officers in England and their desire to form a partnership after their time serving together in the military. They acknowledged that one of the greatest benefits of being a dentist in the Air Force was working with colleagues with whom they could collaborate. They were soon joined by two other veterans and all of them relocated to the Triangle area of North Carolina drawn here because of the family-friendly and faith-based culture. The new dentist, Dr. Books, has done a great job for me. He takes the time to be sure you are comfortable, explains what he is doing, and makes sure to answer any questions. The support staff is very friendly and helpful as well.

9/20/22 The pandemic has had an impact on everyone, and many of the people who were here a year or two ago have moved on. I was hesitant to come this year, knowing I wouldn't know anyone. But it was all great. Everyone is as kind/caring/friendly/capable as everyone who worked here earlier. I would highly recommend. They keep hiring the best people. 3/9/20 I've been coming here for a couple years and would recommend them to anyone looking for an all-around exceptional family dentist. Everyone is professional, kind, warm, friendly, caring, attentive, knowledgeable, and up to date on the latest services and procedures. They feel like the best of what family should be. 3/2018 I recently had a less than stellar experience with another dental group. I had some work done that left me in pain, and staff were confused about my insurance and what was covered and not covered. I decided to try Royal Oak Dental Group and was thrilled. The staff were highly professional and competent, and I appreciate the thorough and attentive consultation they provided. I just had my first root canal. Not fun, but I felt confident knowing these health care providers were doing an excellent job. They made what could have been an unpleasant experience okay. That's saying a lot considering I was there three hours and my root canal was a bit tricky.

The staff is amazing, helpful & friendly. I'm scared to death of dentists. But Dr. Books made me very comfortable & I'm grateful that they were able to help me with my dental care. I'm very excited to continue my dental health with the Royal Oaks Dental Group.

Everyone at Royal Oak is helpful and welcoming. Dr. Books is caring, expert, and respectful. He explains any and every detail, and his assistant and hygienist are excellent and friendly as well.

I have been Dr. Woolf's patient since he started at this practice. While his predecessors have also been great, Dr. Woolf has taken the practice to a new level of excellence. I am a frequent visitor and have really appreciated Dr. Woolf's caring and friendly, his ability to explain his work, and his willingness to take care of urgent needs quickly. He truly cares about his patients and his work is always excellent. His staff is equally wonderful!

They always do a fabulous job on cleaning and maintenance when I come in. This time I brought an issue with taste changes that no other doctors had found a solution for and they solved the problem by looking at my medical record and altering a drug dosage. My taste is coming back and that is fabulous.
