Dr, Gaitan, Royal Dental, was very professional and helped me with some serious dental issues on an emergency basis, which I'm so thankful for. His Dental Assistant was so polite and very efficient. Also, his Office Manager is from Ohio, a great state. Thank you Royal Dental, I appreciate your wonderful dental care and treatment.

Awful receptionist. Was really rude and was just trying to get me off the phone.

I have been going here since March and I love the doctor and the girls on his staff. I got veneers done here and I absolutely love my teeth. He took his time and did all my dental work that needed to be done. Everyone compliments me on my teeth and I definitely refer this practice.

I had gone to this office for x-rays because I had a spot that was seriously bothering me. they ended up quoting me over $4000 for dental work. he even had the AUDACITY to tell me that majority of my fillings were "defective" and tried to claim that I had a ton of new ones coming in. what baffles me is he also claimed that I had decay in the front (lie) and that it seemed to have "stopped decaying" which scientifically is impossible. once decay forms, it doesn't subside. nonetheless , I drove back home 2 hours to see my regular dentist. I'm only in need of a cleaning, fluoride treatment & to fix the spot that is bothering me. only one spot is a possible cavity coming in. not even remotely close to needing 4k worth of work. when I emailed them to request a copy of my x-rays, they ignored my email..this office is a scam & they try to manipulate & take advantage of anyone they can. I was raised better & to trust my gut. I am happy I did..they tried to get me to buy a credit card through them and pressured me into making another appointment. shady as they come! do not come here or any of these practices. they just want your money. they're dishonest.

The front office is the most disorganized I have ever seen. It does not make for a good impression of the practice. The manager, Andrea Macdonald, is rude and abrasive. She acted annoyed when I asked questions about my bill, and would not give me a copy of the planned work. She threw numbers at me and I had to write them down on a little card! I felt like she was trying to 'hustle' me. She missed her calling.....she should sell used cars. NOPE! NOT FOR ME!

My best advice. Stay away from Royal Dental LLC. I saw an advertisement in the newspaper for a complete examination for $69. I was new to TV and needed a dentist so I made an appointment, I gave my insurance to the office manager, Andrea, prior to my appointment and she stated she would verify my coverage beforehand so my copay could be calculated correctly, When I arrived, she said she had been unable to contact my insurance company but would do so during my appointment. During the appointment the hygienist recommended a deep scaling. It appears that the majority of new patients seem to need this procedure. Dr. Gaitan popped in during this appointment and said I needed 2 crowns. One was to replace an existing crown that I was having no issues with and my prior dentist did not find necessary to replace. I declined the crowns but agreed to the deep cleaning. After the appointment, Andrea tried to give me the hard sell on the crowns which I still declined. I don't fall for hard sell techniques but unfortunately many people do. She stated that she still had been unable to contact my insurance company (Metllife) and charged me what she stated was a "pro-rated" amount. She assured me that she would contact them before my next appointment a week later to complete the deep scaling. Arrived a week later and, of course, she still had not been able to contact MetLife and charged me another "pro-rated" amount. First off , what a crock and I can't believe I fell for it. Never once have I had issues contacting Metlife and she had several weeks to do so. In my opinion, she just did not do it. Whether on purpose or not, you be the judge. I should have walked out then and there but I never dreamed I would have any problems getting reimbursed She assured me that as soon as the insurance paid the claim I would be reimbursed immediately. My insurance paid the claim and come to find out, the pro-rated amount she charged me was almost 100% of the negotiated charges and they owe me almost $500. Fast forward 1 1/2 months. I still have not received my overpayment despite repeated emails and telephone calls. Andrea says it's out of her hands and the responsibility of the bookkeeper. I sent a certified demand letter which they refused. After they refused my certified mail. I thought. That's it. I'm done. Refusing to provide my dental records is illegal under HIPAA so I've filed a complaint with the State Board of Dentistry about this as well as what are, in my opinion, unethical business practices. I plan to file a small claims case at the first of the year if I still have not received my overpayment. In addition, I'm contacting the BBB and filing a complaint with my insurance carrier against this "preferred" provider. I'm also contacting any other regulatory offices that I think might be interested. Hopefully, people will read this post and learn from my experience. Antibiotic treatment. I was also told I needed an "antibiotic" treatment. If I were you, I think I'd ask a lot of questions before you agreed to this. I didn't and I'm sorry. I trusted them. My insurance did pay partially for two areas (50%) but deemed the other two areas to not meet criteria for coverage. I took that to mean I didn't need it in those areas. In my opinion, this sure seems like a cash cow. Educate yourself and remember you cannot always believe everything you are told. If you are told insurance doesn't cover a certain procedure, I would probably pass and get a second opinion.

Terrible experience. Went for a cleaning - the hygienist hurt my gums while taking x-rays. Upon leaving Andrea (office mgr) wrote multiple service that I needed (crowns, etc) on a business card! Then I was double charged for the cleaning- took weeks to correct that. Then while I was up north asked Andrea to send x-rays to my northern dentist - which never happened - I asked multiple times, sent emails and then my northern dentist called requesting them and the Royal Dental staff were rude and non-compliant. Terrible customer service --the reduced cleaning cost was not worth the terrible service and lack of follow through!

Highly recommend! I want to mention that I did have to wait for my appointment but my appointment also took longer then expected. I so appreciate that Dr Gaitlan took the time needed, never made me feel rushed and gave me excellent care. I won't ever go anywhere else!

Nightmare experience. Starting with scheduling to actual treatment. I just sent $4000 to have repairs to my teeth by another dentist to correct damage down by this dentist. I spent 16500 and have numerous issues with crowns installed. He said he stands behind his work but I would never darken their doors again.

My wife and I did not like our experience decided to change dentist and they won't transfer her x-rays without signing a release and a doctor reviewing and going through a process even though we own the x-rays. Would not recommend these people.

I go to Dr Gaitan for cleanings every 4 months instead of 6. Over this time, I have had 4 over 30 yr old crowns replaced and am very happy with the work done! I have never waited more than 20 minutes before being taken back. Every employee is very pleasant and professional. I know of circumstances that have occurred where they opened their office AFTER hours for an emergency! I believe they go above and beyond! I also know you can please most of the people most of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time! As for me, they are the BEST! Thank you to everyone there for keeping my smile "dazzling" even at 70 years old! Oh yeah, I don't have dental insurance and feel their prices are very decent and competitive with our area.
