What motivates you to come to work every day? Making patients be better, feel better and live better! Nothing motivates me more than to help a patient recover from an injury and see them live life to the fullest. What is something people might not know about you? Dr. Vaijanthi M. Oza received her Dental degree from the University of Detroit, Mercy and has been serving the Pontiac community for over 22 years. Dr. Oza completed her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Bombay, India and was working on her Masters degree in Biochemistry and Microbiology before moving to Canada.
What motivates you to come to work every day? My Patients! I love coming to work and improving people's lives just by improving their smiles. What is somethign people might not know about you? I love to cook and perform classical Indian dance. My favorite cusines are Indian, Chinese, and Italian food. Dancing Queen meets Cooking Diva! What is your favorite food? Dr. Dev Oza graduated from Lakeland High School in White Lake, Michigan with several honors and awards. He then elected to attend Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan where he received his Bachelor's Degree, Cum Laude in Computer Science and Engineering.
What motivates you to come to work every day? I love to educate patients about what I can do to help them achieve their health goals. What is something people might not know about you? Having a background in software development, I love to work on computers and doing IT work. If you catch me in the office on my day off, chances are I'll be working on our computers. What is your favorite food? Chinese food. Favorite Band? None. I like a lot of classic rock and oldies.
Dr. Oza practices in Pontiac, Michigan U.S.A. and in Windsor, Ontario Canada, and is a member of the Canadian Chiropractic Association, Ontario Chiropractic Association, College of Chiropractors of Ontario, Essex County Chiropractic Association, Logan Alumni Association and the Michigan Chiropractic Society.
I did my undergraduate studies at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. I was a biology major. I then attended Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri where I received my Bachelor of Science in Human Biology (B.Sc.) degree in April 1982. In December 1983, I received my Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree.
I have been in practice since graduation. In the course of my practice I have treated professional models and athletes such as marathon runners, joggers, professional skaters from the Ice Capades and triathletes. Also, in the past I have treated athletes at the Windsor Classic Indoor Games for the Physically Disabled. Our patients ages range from a day old infant to 104 years! I have 18 years of experience working in nursing homes and treating geriatric patients.
I also have many years of experience in treating injured patients for the Worker's Compensation Board, athletic injuries, personal injuries such as slip and fall accidents, and motor vehicle accident injuries. Furthermore, I treat patients for general Wellness Care.

In Canada, she continued to accomplish her quest for knowledge and received an Honors degree from the University of Windsor, Ontario Canada in Microbiology. Dr. Oza is licensed to practice in Michigan and Illinois, and has also completed her licensing board to practice in Ontario and was admitted to the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RDCSO) in 1998.
Dr. Oza has treated a wide range of patients including players from the NFL, San Diego Chargers and university and college athletes. She also treats other health care professionals including chiropractors, medical doctors, massage therapists, nurses and physical therapists. In addition, she proudly treats automobile workers, and is actively involved in providing care at several area nursing homes.
Dr. Dev Oza graduated from Lakeland High School in White Lake, Michigan with several honors and awards. He then elected to attend Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan where he received his Bachelor's Degree, Cum Laude in Computer Science and Engineering. While pursuing his Bachelor's Degree, Dr. Oza developed several software applications for the medical/dental field before deciding to pursue his Master's Degree in Computer Science where he conducted research in artificial intelligence (AI) and data mining and developed algorithms for accurately predicting various outcomes in the automotive industry.
After acquiring a Master's Degree, Dr. Oza decided to further his education in Dentistry. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Detroit Mercy where he also completed a clerkship in Advanced Periodontics.
Dr. Dev Oza strives high to use his engineering skills and cutting-edge computer technology to provide dental care in a gentle and caring background. He keeps up with the constant changes in materials and techniques in dentistry by regularly attending educational seminars and conferences.
Dr. Dev Oza is an educator and a good listener. His calming chairside manner makes him able to connect with his patients on a personal level. He takes time to explain patient's treatment options and will surely do the same for you!
