Dr. Kim Ledermann graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2002. She has a broad-based background in general dentistry performed in both private and nonprofit clinics, which has included seeing patients under general anesthesia in a hospital setting. Additionally, she has a masters degree in speech-language pathology and is experienced in the treatment of oropharyngeal dysfunction. Dr. Ledermann has completed extensive training and miniresidencies in the areas of craniofacial/orofacial pain and sleep for children and adults, craniocervical and craniomandibular pathophysiology, and orthodontics. Dr. Mora Cervenka graduated in 2002 from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, where she completed two externship programs and a mini residency and earned a scholarship award in Oral Pathology. Inspired by her experiences as a TMD and migraine patient, she then began to study TMJ disorders at the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education. Over the next several years she worked in general dentistry while also treating patients with TMJ disorders and taking continuing education courses in treating orofacial pain, migraines, and sleep apnea. Dr. Cervenkas undergraduate education was at the University of St. Thomas, where she earned departmental honors in biology, graduated Magna Cum Laude, and participated in research that led to her co-authoring a published research paper. Dr. Cervenka joined Minnesota Craniofacial Center in 2018 and is excited about applying her experience to help patients here, while continuing to take courses through the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, Tufts School of Dental Medicine, and many others. Dr. Cervenka is passionate about researching multiple modalities of treatment and learning about the latest available techniques to better help her patients, and she is thrilled to be able to help patients with the advanced treatments available at Minnesota Craniofacial Center.
Kelsey Sharma is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (CNP). She graduated from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, North Dakota with Bachelors of Science in both Nursing and Exercise Science as well as Masters of Science in Kinesiology and Nursing. She is a certified member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, and Minnesota Sleep Society. She has experience in pulmonary and sleep medicine and is enjoying seeing patients in the outpatient setting with focus in TMD and Sleep Disordered breathing. She enjoys riding bike and hiking with her husband and two dogs. She is also passionate about medical mission work with her husband to underserved populations through LifeStream Foundation.
Dr. Roy Hakala graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1975 and has been working in the field of TMJ disorders and obstructive sleep apnea ever since.
