Dr. Samuel J. Roy is a board certified plastic and oral surgeon serving the greater Salisbury, North Carolina area. In practice since 2006, Dr. Roy is dedicated to providing excellence in patient safety, care and results.
Dr. Roy attended State University of New York at Buffalo where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Biology. He then attended the University of Maryland School of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery. Following receiving his D.D.S., Dr. Roy completed a General Dentistry Residency at Albany Medical Center and Oral and Maxillofacial Residency at the University of Rochester.
After completing his oral and maxillofacial training, Dr. Roy received his Medical Degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. He then completed an internship at the University of Rochester followed by a General Surgery Residency. For the next 3 years, Dr. Roy remained at the University of Rochester to complete further Residencies in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Plastic Surgery, where he also held position of Chief Resident of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Chief Resident of Plastic Surgery. Before opening his practice in Salisbury, Dr. Roy completed a comprehensive Fellowship in Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Pennsylvannia, Division of Plastic Surgery.

Doctor Roy is so nice, I remember when I was younger and I had to go there to get my teeth pulled then after they gave me candy to make me feel better! The staff is so sweet amazing people 10/10!

If I could give 100 stars I would! Amazing dr..amazing office staff. He did surgery on me yesterday I was at the hospital and put to sleep but I was so nervous I had to have 30 some teeth taken out. My mouth was horrible! I was full of infection and just in so much pain. I have taken two pain pills and now just done ibuprofen today and I feel amazing. I challenge you to find a better oral surgeon. His calm presence made me at ease when I was so scared. He explained everything in such detail in a way my husband and I understood. I am in shock of how amazing I feel when I had surgery Yesterday around 2pm. It is now 7 am the next morning and I'm just sore! Not even needing the pain meds just ibuprofen!. Thank you Dr. Roy and Kim. Yall are literally life savers. I am so glad I was referred to you! I'm literally crying when I'm typing bc 12 yrs of excruciating pain and now it's over. When I come for post op I just want to hug you lol I won't but man just thank you!

My daughter had her wisdom teeth removed and her experience couldn't have been better. Dr. Roy is an excellent surgeon, but paired with his caring demeanor and attention to detail make him the best. Worth the hour-long drive...and more!

Dr Roy is the best in town he is so nice and careing and the women in his office make you feel welcome in his office like its their own home if you need you teeth worked on this is your man to see!!!!!!
