Dr. Kalpit Shah and his team at Round Lake Family Dentistry offer a full range of dentistry services to patients in and around the Streamwood, IL area. Dr. Shah holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and maintains expertise in providing general dental care, cleanings, crowns, dental implants, dentures, teeth whitening treatments, urgent dental care, tooth extractions, and orthodontics, including Invisalign.
In order to provide the best possible care to his patients, Dr. Shah continues adding to his 500 hours of continuing education courses. He is dedicated to lifelong learning and staying up to date with the current research and new advances in dentistry.
Dr. Hao is a diplomate of American Board of Orthodontics. He obtained his education at University of Illinois College of Dentistry, Dr. Haw is an exceptional clinician who also was a clinical assistant professor at University of Connecticut Health Center. He is proud of being a board-certified orthodontist, an honor only 25% of practicing orthodontists have achieved.
Dr. Hao is an independent contractor working with Round Lake Family Dentistry to provide best quality orthodontic care to all of our patients in Round Lake, IL and surrounding communities. He takes pride in assessing individual needs and loves treating kids and adults alike to help every patient achieve their best smile.

This is hands down the best dentist ever! Rebecca is so warming and the dentist is beyond amazing! He make it anxiety free and always willing to help! The whole staff is top notch and honestly some of the best people I know!

Dr. Shah and his staff treat their patients was so much care. I have been going for years and I appreciate how they make sure I'm comfortable. He makes sure that I understand what work I need to have done and answers all my questions (cavities, fillings, bridge, cleanings, etc). Highly recommend!

This business had made an error and miscommunicated with the insurance company regarding an enamel treatment coverage. I have a text message from their receptionist confirming that my son's insurance (Aetna PPO) will cover said treatment. Few weeks later, we get a phone call from this office, alerting us that Aetna denied the coverage and, therefore, we are now responsible for payment. Well, no. That is not how things work. You make a mistake, you eat up the 200 dollars and move on. Trying to hound me down financially to pay for your mistake is going to cost you a bad review every time I get a phone call from your lawyer. Google reviews are always a suspect, but there are other websites. The 200 surely isn't worth it. Fix your business by applying ethics! 7/7/2022 a reply to your reply: You do not need to help me navigate anything since this is YOUR problem. You just earned another bad review on another platform. Never had a bad experience and I have been going there for years. I have all my cleanings done there and have also had other, more extensive, dental work done by them. Staff and doctors are courteous and helpful and they listen to your concerns. I would not go anywhere else. Many years later and still the best dentist around! Just had a crown put in and they could do everything, including the permanent crown, in less than 2 hours. Don't have to go back for a second appointment. How great is that?! Again, would not go anywhere else!

I was in search of a local dentist for an emergency appointment. After informing each place that this is an emergency, they didn't seem to care and one place tried scheduling me in August. After finding Round lake family Dentistry, they were able to book me right away. Ana is the absolute best, answering my questions and made me feel comfortable there. Definitely recommend this place!

Stay away. Dentists (specifically Dr. Rudyk) doesnt know what he is doing. Plus they will do anything to overcharge you. I called about an issue with my crown (Dr. Rudyk did it A month prior) and I was told the dentist "put in his notice" and is no longer working there starting in June. No concern whatsoever about my pain or potential infection. A crown was done but I wouldn't be surprised if I will need a root canal to fix what he did. If I can warn anyone off this dentist office with this review take it as a saving grace. Go anywhere but here!

I discovered RLFD because I had a tooth emergency. I had so much pain and was calling many dentist offices with zero luck. At RLFD, they were able to pencil me in immediately. Since, they've been my preferred dental office. After treating my tooth emergency, I expressed to dr. shah that I wanted Invisalign, but I wasn't hopeful because other dentist told me I wouldn't be a good candidate, but dr. Shah worked wonders with my Invisalign treatment and I can't stop smiling! Did I mention the ladies in the office are so professional and organized? I recommend RLFD to everyone.

My first and only experience with this clinic. I called the clinic to make an urgent appointment with Dr. Mykola Rudyk. Receptionist said that the first available appointment was in a month and a half and explained its because Dr. works there only on Saturdays. I asked where he works on other days, the administrator replied that he doesn't work anywhere else. And it turned out to be a lie. I found out that the doctor has his own practice in Des Plaines. I was actually ready for an alternative, as I have urgent matter, but nothing was offered to me. Advice to the owner of the clinic: educate your staff and Don't lie to your potential new client!
