Dr. Karla and her husband Randy both grew up in the same small town in Iowa. From there they attended Grandview College in Des Moines, and graduated with bachelor of general science degrees. After four more years they graduated from the University of Iowa Dental College in 1995. Being raised in Iowa, they were excited to live in Iowa City and support their favorite college team the Hawkeyes. The University of Iowa Dental College has continually been ranked as one of theTop 3 dental schoolsin the nation.
The couple also attended Mrs. Pecks pre-school in Iowa in the early seventies Not sure if it was ranked in the nation academically, but it was definitely where they received a good mid-west upbringing! Dr. Karla brought those morals and ethics of the Midwest with her to Oregon. This is important for her patients to know and she feels that it is one of her best assets.
