Dr. Karla and her husband Randy both grew up in the same small town in Iowa. From there they attended Grandview College in Des Moines, and graduated with bachelor of general science degrees. After four more years they graduated from the University of Iowa Dental College in 1995. Being raised in Iowa, they were excited to live in Iowa City and support their favorite college team the Hawkeyes. The University of Iowa Dental College has continually been ranked as one of theTop 3 dental schoolsin the nation.
The couple also attended Mrs. Pecks pre-school in Iowa in the early seventies Not sure if it was ranked in the nation academically, but it was definitely where they received a good mid-west upbringing! Dr. Karla brought those morals and ethics of the Midwest with her to Oregon. This is important for her patients to know and she feels that it is one of her best assets. She will treat you, exactly how she would want to be treated.
Continuing education is an important part of Dr. Karlas commitment to her patients. She seeks out the latest, most advanced philosophies and techniques to be able to provide her patients with the highest level of dental care available. Excellent cleaning! I love the tv over the chair. I learned a lot about the mating habits of hummingbirds and butterflies. Laura is great. Very pleasant and gentle. Thanks! For my next cleaning I had Niki and she is just as amazing. I love how gentle and thorough Dr. Karla's hygienist are.

I felt the dental hygiene care I received today was done with a high degree of professionalism and the work was carried out with a great deal of attention to detail and thoroughness. Additionally, I felt the hygienist gave appropriate attention to the longevity of my dental health and provided recommendations to insure the best possible outcome for my long term dental health. Additionally, and as always, I found the office staff to be extremely polite, friendly, and helpful.

When I moved to Medford from San Diego, I was worried that I wouldn't find anyone who could compare to my dentist in the city. Boy, was I wrong! Dr. Rothfus and the entire staff are excellent at everything they do. From the moment I walk in to the moment I leave, they are friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They consistently give me superb dental care and always take the time to answer my questions. For a brief example of why I love this dentist: I had to get a cavity filled, and Dr. Rothfus did a better job on the filling than any other dentist I've ever had. My bite wasn't altered, I wasn't ever in pain, and she made it look great. I tend to be a pretty anxious dental patient, but they always are so kind and calming and they help me relax. If you're looking for excellent dental care, I would highly recommend Dr. Rothfus!

Rothfus Dental is the BEST! They always treat me with kindness during all my visits and hearing the staff tell you good job when they know dental procedures aren't your favorite makes you feel so good :) I love that you get to watch Netflix under a soft blanket during your procedures and the chapstick they let you pick from are adorable! It's the little things that make you feel so comfortable and ready for whatever needs to be done. Thank you to the entire Rothfus staff!

I give the team at Rothfus Dental 10 stars!! As a child we had a dental team that impacted my life in a positive way. I grew up taking care of my teeth because of it. As I grew up, I had some bad experiences until I happened to stumble across Rothfus. They take care of my whole family and now I sit happy knowing my kids will have the same positive experience! They have transformed my husband into a person who used to not show his teeth. The other day he said, "It's weird how I feel like I can smile and I not have to hide anything!" For a grown man who hated his teeth, had bad dental experiences and was traumatized by his own smile i was unsure anyone could earn his trust, but they did more than that, they gave him happiness! I absolutely adore the whole team!! Thank you
