Graduate of the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, class of 2011. Dr. Alex completed his education while enrolled in the Armys Health Professions Scholarship Program and immediately began service in the United States Army Dental Corps upon graduation. Dr. Roths first year post graduation was spent advancing his clinical skills as a resident in the Armys Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at Ft Benning GA. He then served the next 4 years as a Dental Officer at Ft Richardson Army Post in Anchorage Alaska. After his 5 years of service Dr. Alex and his wife Amy and daughter Ava made the exciting move back home to Fairfield to begin practice here at Roth & Norton Family Dentistry.
Dr. Norton is a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Dentistry class of 2017. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa national honor society and Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society. In her fourth year of dental training Dr. Norton served in externships in pediatric dentistry at St. Lukes Dental Health Center in Cedar Rapids and in Geriatrics and Special Needs dentistry at the University of Iowa.
Melanie is married to husband Ben Norton, also of Fairfield. Together they live in Fairfield with their vizsla, Moto and their cat, Reno. Melanie and Ben enjoy most outdoor activities including biking, hiking, pheasant hunting, snowboarding, and motorcycling.
Jill Miller was born and raised in Fairfield, Iowa. She graduated from the Kirkwood Dental Hygiene program in 2003 and has been working for Dr. Enloe in Ottumwa. She is very excited to be able to work in Fairfield, where she lives with her husband and three daughters ages 3, 5, and 7. Jill enjoys traveling, running, bowling, reading, and spending time with her family.
Kim grew up in Elkader, IA and attended Kirkwood Community College where she graduated in 2003 with her Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene. She has enjoyed working at Roth Dental since 2007. Kim lives with her husband Justin and their two daughters Ali and Audrey. When not working Kim enjoys all forms of hunting, baking gourmet goodies, and keeping up with her daughters extracurriculars.
Danita attended Mt. Pleasant Community School district and Hawkeye Community College where she graduated in 2002 with her Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene with honors. She has been working at Roth Dental since 2013. Danita lives with her husband Luke and their three fur babies Daisy, Cooper, and Nilla. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, reading, interior decorating, and shoe shopping.
Dakota was born and raised in Fairfield. She graduated from the Indian Hills Community College Dental Hygiene program in 2018. In her free time, Dakota enjoys hanging out with friends and family, reading, and spending time with her two huskies.
Emily is the daughter of Dr. Gary and sister to Drs Alex and Melanie. She enjoys working in the family practice and has been a registered dental assistant since 2006. Emily loves spending time with her husband, her children, and her dogs.
Emily started out as a dental assisting student doing clinical rotation at Roth Dental in 2015. Upon her graduation from the Indian Hills Dental Assisting Program in 2015 she began work as a full time employee. Emily is a Nationally Certified and Iowa Registered assistant. She graduated high school from Cardinal in 2013. Emily enjoys reading and spending her time with her family at the race track in Eldon and surrounding communities, where her brother races.
Kaitlyn began her time at Roth Dental as an Indian Hills Assisting Student. After graduating from Indian Hills in 2018, Kaitlyn started working full-time with us as a registered dental assistant. Kaitlyn graduated from Pekin in 2017. In her free time, she enjoys being outside, spending time with friends and family, and watching movies.
Ashley is originally from Bloomfield, IA. She is an Iowa Registered Assistant (RDA) as well as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA.) Ashley lives outside of Eldon with her significant other Matt and their two dogs, JoJo and Jewels. In her free time, she enjoys photography, boating in the summer, deer hunting and exercising.
Amy grew up in Decorah, IA and attended the University of Northern Iowa where she graduated in 2006 with her Bachelors degree in Finance. Amy is the wife of Dr. Alex. Together they reside in Fairfield with their two children, Ava and Lukas. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading and traveling.
Charli recently moved back to Stockport, Iowa after seven years away. Charli is excited to get to know patients working the front desk in the Keosauqua office, while also training to be a dental assistant. She enjoys crafting in her free time and spending time with her family. She lives with her boyfriend, Bill, and together they have a daughter, Makayla, and a dog, Chloee.
Shelby is from Cedar Rapids, Iowa where she graduated from Kirkwood Community College with an Associates Degree. Shelby and her husband, Jason, moved to Fairfield in 2017 to start a business, Iowa Repair Shop. Shelby started at Roth & Norton Family Dentistry in March, 2018 and works at the front desk in the Fairfield office.

This is my favorite dental office ever! I've always thought of an excuse to not go to the dentist before. Roth always gets me scheduled fast. The staff is the best. The only dentists to EVER simply do what I need, with a rational perspective. Seriously! You shouldn't have to feel like you're pulling teeth with a dentist! I totally trust this team of fine people with my dental health.

It's very disappointing to be misinformed by the front desk when booking my appointment. I had asked when booking the appointment if a bracket on my teeth could be rebonded as one side was loose. I was told that along with my cleaning and exam that Dr. Melanie was able to do so. I was put on hold and it was confirmed. I then canceled an alternate appointment to have just this done as I could have Roth Dentistry take care of all. I usually see Dr. Alex and he's always been exceptional. Dr. Melanie was unconcerned and not qualified to rebond and unapologetic that I was misinformed, canceled an appointment for this one and took time out of my day. She wasn't able to understand that I was moving from Iowa and said, "Well then have it done when you return, no rush. " Her inability to hear what's said is on par with the front desk. Additionally at my last cleaning I was assured that my top bracket wasn't broken, turns out that was another over sight on their part. I do not recommend this business as they aren't capable of hearing or delivering adequate care or information.

I have went to Roth Dental since I was a kid now I take all three of my kids to them. Dr. Melanie is my 4 year old favorite to the point we will travel to Keo to see her. As always she is still super nervous to go but like always they make her feel comfortable. My other 2 kids love all three dentist there! Life time customer of Roth Dental both FF and Keo!!

I have went to Roth Dental since I was a kid now I take all three of my kids to them. Dr. Melanie is my 4 year old favorite to the point we will travel to Keo to see her. I called to setup an appointment as a new patient for a tooth extraction and was told to go to my previous dentist. My guess is that I didn't pass the insurance question. Oh well I will find another Dentist who's willing to help.

I do not have to wait EVER and the employees are pleasant and welcoming. The dental work is excellent...never any problems...so all in all it is a stress free experience.
