Roswell Dental Smiles is a Roswell based family dentist practice that treats patients of all ages. Dr. Saranya is certified in Invisalign. She is currently an active member of the American Dental Association. She is currently a member of Academy of General Dentistry and is on track to pursue her fellowship in general dentistry.
Dr. Saranya moved to Georgia from Texas about four years ago. She is happily married for seven years now, and has a three-year-old daughter. When she is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Saranya enjoys yoga and exercising. Her all-time favorite activity is being outdoors on walking trails with her husband and daughter.
At Roswell Dental Smiles, we provide clear braces throughout the Roswell area. Straight teeth are important for your overall oral health. We understand that while many people want to have straighter teeth, many teens and adults are uncomfortable with the traditional metal braces on their teeth for more than one year. While they are not as discreet as people wish, metal braces are an effective tool for straightening teeth. The procedure works by placing a metal bracket onto the surface of each tooth and running a wire through those brackets. It is impossible not to notice when someone is wearing traditional metal braces. While the treatment works, it can also negatively impact a persons' appearance while doing so. This has led many people to seek out a better option, one that we provide.
At Roswell Dental Smiles, we offer clear alternatives for adults and teens the greater Roswell area. We can straighten teeth and move them into the perfect position so the patient has a beautiful and radiant straight smile. If you have crooked teeth, unsightly gaps between your teeth or a misaligned bite, then we can help to correct these issues and more. Clear braces work just as effectively as metal braces but with some major improvements. Clear braces are much more difficult to notice, making them ideal for busy professionals, teens and those that do not want to negatively impact their current appearance during the process.
There are several types of clear and barely visible options to choose. One operates similarly to traditional metal braces where we place a bracket onto each tooth and thread a wire between the brackets. The difference is that instead of being made out of metal, the brackets for clear braces consists of a tooth-colored resin that blends in with the natural tooth. The wire is also tooth-colored so that the braces themselves are almost invisible and difficult to see. We find that this solution works well for teens and adults that are able to practice proper dental hygiene with the clear braces. Otherwise, food can stain the brackets. This solution is an excellent alternative to traditional braces and is just as effective at addressing all oral health concerns.
Clear braces also come in the form of aligners. Clear aligners look like a full retainer that surrounds the teeth and are worn on the upper and lower teeth. Aligners are more convenient to wear than metal braces since patients can remove them when necessary. One of the major concerns that people have with wearing braces is that they do not come off until the treatment is complete. If, for example, you get braces then decide to get married, you will either have braces in your wedding pictures or need to pay to remove them and reinstall them after. Simultaneously, if you have a big presentation at work and want to impress a client, your braces cannot come off for the meeting. This leaves many adults apprehensive about committing to a two-year treatment plan. We understand that appearance is important for more than vanity. I'm so glad we found Dr. Saranya and her WONDERFUL staff. They all (from check-in to check-out) have been taking great care of me and my husband. Such a professional, friendly and patient team. They take their time to explain things, and to make sure you are felling confortable during the procedures (I have very sensitive teeth). My husband's first visit was an emergency and they kindly accommodate him. Going to the dentist is not an issue anymore. We are so happy and highly recommend Roswell Dental Smiles, they are the best! Kudos!!

My 5th visit now since 2020 so I'm updating my review. Always a pleasurable experience. I know, "Pleasurable" & "Dental visit" don't usually go hand in hand but the entire staff is a pleasure to deal with and the procedures are always done great the 1st time. Friendly & professional staff and were able to get me in to see the doctor right away without a long wait. Procedure was explained clearly and performed without any complications and a much appreciated follow-up call from the doctor the next day. Happy to say I may have found my new dentist after mine relocated.

I looked for a dentist for a very long time and I'm so grateful to have found Roswell Dental smiles. With every visit Dr Saranya is compassionate and she educates you on what is occurring with your teeth and provides you with options. I can not say enough great things about her or her incredibly caring staff! My entire family now are patients of Dr. Saranya and we couldn't be happier.... This is all coming from a family that does not love going to the dentist (we love Dr. S). If you are looking for a dentist or looking to change, you won't be disappointed.

From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted happily, treated like a friend, so comfortable. I have such anxieties about the dentist but not here. What a wonderful environment. They booked an appointment immediately, because I was in so much pain. Paper work was completed on phone before appointment, so no need to do upon arrival. Molly had all information ready when I arrived. Dr Saranyadevi was concerned about my pain level and started treatment plan. The staff, especially Jackie so gentle with procedures and making sure I had no discomfort. Both Jackie and Courtney were very compassionate they knew when you were feeling anxious and would put a hand on your shoulder which really calmed me down. I had a bad infection and also needed a tooth extracted. They all made sure I was comfortable and that I was NOT feeling any pain. I was amazed how smoothly the entire team worked together. Everything was explained thoroughly and no surprises about treatment or pricing, I knew exactly what doctor would be doing.The most important, Dr Saranyadevi made it very clear that if I needed anything after treatment or had any discomfort to contact her immediately. WOW I felt this dentist was my best friend or relative, it's a beautiful feeling knowing your doctor really cares. I no longer have a fear of dentist because of Roswell smiles. I highly recommend this dentist

I'm not sure if there are words to adequately express just how good this place is. If there's a Mount Rushmore of dental practices, Roswell Dental Smiles is on it. Dr. Saranya Sakthivadivel and her terrific team never fail to impress me with both their skills and their customer service. What can be better than an appointment for a procedure and it's over before you even realize they've begun?!?! Yes, they're that good. Seriously, I can't imagine a better place out there for dental care.

RDS has been nothing short of amazing. I have gone there twice now, completed fillings both times. They are quick and affordable as well as very knowledgeable about what was happening in my particular case. Looking forward to future visits, hopefully only for cleanings
