Dr. Sosa received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI and completed her residency program in the specialty of pediatric dentistry at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She served in the United States Air Force for a number of years treating children of military families overseas and as an attending on the teaching staff of Advanced Education in General Dentistry Programs before moving to San Diego to establish her dental practice. She lives with her husband (a general dentist) and three daughters in Carlsbad, CA.
Dr. Sosa is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Diego County Dental Society and the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry.
My goal is to take the anxiety out of the dental visit and make each child as comfortable and relaxed as possible. That first experience is so important! It sets children up for a lifetime of good dental habits.
