As a 1987 graduate of the UNC School of Dentistry, Dr. Ross received the C.V. Mosby Scholarship Award for being number one in his class. Aftergraduating, Dr. Ross served as a faculty member at the School of Dentistry for one year before entering the Orthodontic Program at UNC. In 1991, upon completion of this program, he returned to Greenville to take over his fathers orthodontic practice.
Dr. Ross is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Society, East Central Dental Society and the UNC Orthodontic Alumni Association. He also serves on the Advancement Council of Health and Human Performance at East Carolina University and the Admissions Committee for the ECUSchool of Dentistry, where he is also a teaching faculty member. He has been a member of St. James United Methodist Church for over 50 years.
When Dr. Ross isnt in the office, he enjoys taking mission trips with his church to places such as Kenya and Nicaragua. Dr. Ross loves anything outdoors, especially bicycling and paddleboarding. He even raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for local Boys and Girls Clubs through cross country bicycle rides.

From the very first consultation, I knew my son would be in great hands! Dr. Ross and his staff are truly some of the sweetest people we've ever met. They don't make you feel as if you're just there for business, but they treat you as family. My son has such a beautiful smile now, and I highly recommend Dr. Ross Orthodontics! 10/10!!

Prior to going to Dr. Ross I was told that I would need surgery on my jaw to correct my underbite. With Dr. Ross my underbite was gone after 3 months! Dr Ross and the rest of the staff have been amazing.

Ross Orthodontics exceeds it's reputation. I have been dealing with them for years now after being introduced from a friend in Beaufort County who used them. I now understand why people will drive an hour to go to their office as Dr. Ross is one of a kind, and his staff love their jobs! They always brighten your day when you have an appointment, and they have done an excellent job in straitening not only all my kid's teeth, but recently straightened mine. They did an excellent job with all of us, and I can't praise them enough for the great work they do and the care they have for people and the community. I highly recommend this office! The drive is completely worth it!

Great Great Great customer service...from the time I walked in until the time I left. I went to have my braces put on... Dr. Ross and the entire staff were awesome they explained each step to me and made me feel like part of their family... if you are looking for an orthodontist Dr. Ross and his office staff will definitely get you right!!!! I cannot overstate how wonderful my experience with Dr. Ross and his team was! Always very friendly, as gentle as possible, realistic and honest with goal setting, and the execution is flawless. Not many people look forward to seeing a dentist or orthodontist, I sure don't, but I must say that it WAS a pleasure going to see Dr. Ross every single time and my new smile will be with me for a lifetime!!!!

Dr. Ross and his team are amazing and incredible!! I was a transfer patient and I've been in braces most my life, and each one's I've been to was never able to diagnose why my bite had such a gap until Dr. Ross was able to catch it. he's been nothing but awesome! He's always in a great mood along with staff. They all are so nice and sweet. Best orthodontics I've ever been to!! Also they always have the office decorated!!

Upon entering, i could tell the staff recognized their regulars because they immediately were able to check them in without even having to ask their name. Everyone in the facility was extremely friendly and pleasant, and Ross ortho. really did give me that "family" vs a "business" feel. Thank you to Melissa, Mel, and Dr. Ross for taking care of me at my first ortho visit ever! I learned a lot and got quick care, and also got a full consult with braces installation all in the same day

I cannot stress enough how kind-hearted and amazing these people are! I went for a consultation today and had the most wonderful time in just 45 minutes. I got to meet people I know I will grow closer to over the next few months, they walk you through the process and make sure to answer each question you have! Payment options are extremely affordable! I took my granddaughter for a consultation and walked into an environment in which everyone was extremely pleasant and friendly. Her exam was comprehensive and every detail was explained well. Melissa, her treatment coordinator, was professional yet cheerful. Ditto for Dr Ross. Every question that we had( we had a lot) was answered directly and straight to the point. We are looking forward to a continually pleasant experience as my granddaughter progressses through her orthodontal experience.

Wow! This office is amazing. Has a beautiful spirit in it. Very clean, great service and smiles from all who work there. My consultation was free which was amazing to me. Payment plans were very reasonable. Can't wait to get mine next month. Finally, the orthodontist Mr. Ross was a pleasure to meet. Very considerate, straight to the point! Love it.
