It is with the greatest excitement that I write this letter to introduce myself, Dr. Mathew Rosinsky. I am a general dentist, and I look forward to proudly carrying on the tradition of excellent patient care you have come to expect from Dr. Means at Means Family Dentistry. My vision is to provide caring and comprehensive care to families, so children of all ages are welcome! It is important to me that families as a whole are able to receive their dental care under one roof.
As a little background on myself, I was raised in Ambridge, Pennsylvania, just outside of Pittsburgh, and I always knew I wanted to pursue a health care profession since I was a little boy. I joined the United States Air Force after graduation from high school, and it was during this time that I knew dentistry was my calling. I was blessed enough to be exposed to multiple medical specialties working in the hospital while I served, and dentistry was where my passion lied.
Following my time in service, I received myBachelorsof Science in Biology from Robert Morris University. I then went on to receive my Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry from the University of Pittsburgh, which is one of the top dental education institutions in the country. I married my beautiful wife, Ashley, after leaving the service, and she has supported me throughout my education. We now have 5 amazing youngsters of our own: Ethan 9, Mason 7,Gerad5, Alina 3 and our baby girl Quinn is 8 months.
I am excited to work alongside the amazing team at Means Family dentistry, and I hope you will allow me to continue to provide you with the same excellent and professional care that Dr. Means has provided over the years.
Melanie joined our team in 2015 and brings a wide variety of experiences to Means Family Dentistry. She received her Dental Assistant Certificate in 2001 and worked as an assistant prior to becoming a hygienist. She earned her Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2003 at Waukesha County Technical College in Wisconsin. She spent 7 years providing care in a Periodontal Specialty Practice in Atlanta, Georgia. Melanie is certified in CPR and is licensed to administer local anesthesia. She is also a licensed Public Health Dental Hygiene Practitioner (PHDHP) which allows her to provide dental hygiene services independently in a public setting. She looks forward to providing you with the utmost compassion and highest quality dental care to maintain your oral health.
Katie joined Means Family Dentistry in September 2018. She began her dental assisting career in 1996 with Dr. Means. After years of staying home with her children, she is excited to be back and part of our team!Her favorite part of dental assisting is helping patients feel comfortable and relaxed during treatment.
Amy, Registered Dental HygienistAmy joined our team in January 2018. She received her Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from West Liberty University. With over 25 years of dental experience, she is still passionate about patient care and education. Her favorite part of her job is getting to know patients and helping them feel at ease during treatment.
Kevin has joined Rosinsky Family Dentistry in October 2019. Previously, he was an enlisted member in the United States Air Force for 12 years. His expertise in management and accounting will ensure a smooth transition for the new owner, Dr. Mathew. He is excited to become a valued member of the community and looks forward to meeting you all!

Wonderful office! Everyone here is so kind. My kids (5 & 7 years old) beg to go to the dentist! They love this place and so do I!

When I left Rosinsky Family Dentistry I knew I had found exactly what I was looking for in a dental office. I was seen by Dr. Rosinsky as he is the only Dr. there, my number one reason for choosing this practice. Unfortunately I do not have dental insurance so it had been a few years since I had a cleaning. Melanie, the dental hygienist explained each step of the way what she was doing and was very calm and compassionate. It was the most thorough cleaning I think I have ever had! Dr. Rosinsky actually spent time (not just 5 minutes like my previous dentists) listening, explaining, and answering all my concerns. He was very personable and down to earth. You can tell he truly enjoys what he does! I took advantage of purchasing the dental discount plan which includes 2 dental cleanings, x-rays, and more as well as 30% off other treatment. Oh, in case I have an emergency the exams and x-rays will be covered as well.

My family and I just started coming here. I've always had major anxiety with anything dental. Dr. Rosinsky and his staff were amazing! They are kind, and very thorough. Not only that, but they were able to get me in right away when I had an issue with a molar. They are professional, and understanding. I would, (and already have) recommended family and friends to Rosinsky Family Density.

I don't normally write many reviews, particularly when it comes to health care providers. Dr Rosinsky and his staff are A+. I was experiencing a dental emergency and my dentist was on vacation. I called a few different practices and none would get me in until the next day at the earliest. Then I contacted Dr Rosinsky's office, who was able to get me in the same day since I was in such pain. Once I arrived, I was treated by both the staff and the Doctor as if I was a regular customer. The care I was given by the assistant and the doctor was first rate. Dr Rosinsky's dental chair side manor was excellent as well as his approach to my dental issue. I think I will be switching my dental care needs to Rosinsky Family Dentistry as soon as I can.

I began visiting this dentist as it was conveniently located near where I work, however, my husband also now uses this dentist even though it is a little bit of a drive because we love going here! This is especially noteworthy given my husband has a strong dislike of dentists, but is willing to go here because the staff are friendly and thorough.

I had problems with dentists in the past up until last year. I called my insurance company to see what dentist takes my insurance and I read good reviews about this place. I am so happy that I found them! They listen and are very nice and are very professional and made me feel very comfortable during getting my 3 teeth extracted. Very nice place I have already recommended 3 of my family members to them. My mom likes them, my stepdad is thinking about making an appointment and my mother in law is planning on calling them too. They do such a great job!

I take my children to see Dr Rosinsky, I decided to make the switch over to him after they said they could see me same day do to an emergency. They referred me to Hlaudy for a tooth extraction and I plan to see Rosinsky to have my bridge put in and teeth cleanings. They are a group of friendly fun, and highly professional dental team! Very friendly staff and overall enjoyable visit. Teeth cleaning was gentle but thorough which I appreciate as someone with sensitive teeth. After my lifelong family dentist retired I had a difficult time finding a new dentist. I am very thankful my friend recommended Dr. Rosinsky!

The receptionist was not very inviting. When I inquired if they accepted Humana insurance I was told that she didn't know if they accepted Humana. Called Humana they told me that in fact they were on preferred provider list. I felt very unwelcomed. Was it because I walked in? I even wore a mask. Went back within the hour the door was locked. Maybe it's the speech impediment I have developed due to lack of adequate dental care. I'm 60+ and have good insurance. Still looking for dentist without the "we don't need your business" attitude.

I actually like going to the dentist now. I enjoy the friendly atmosphere with all the cheerful artwork all around the rooms. I had two emergency visits lately and each time I called I was seen in very short order. I appreciate this in a dentistry. I am a senior and never know when a tooth might chip . So glad I'm in good hands! I can always count on my favorite dentil assistant Melanie being available for me. She is extremely gentile when flossing and doing my x-rays. This is important to me too.

We have been patients at this practice for almost a decade. Unfortunately, after dealing with "Kevin" this morning we have to find a new dentist. After Dr Means left the practice, it has seriously gone downhill. Gone now are the quick and thorough practices of Dr Means to make way for a younger man who has no personality or tact. The hygienists are lovely, Jodi is great, but the new dentist is heavy handed and very cold. Sorry to be leaving Edinboro.
