It is with the greatest excitement that I write this letter to introduce myself, Dr. Mathew Rosinsky. I am a general dentist, and I look forward to proudly carrying on the tradition of excellent patient care you have come to expect from Dr. Means at Means Family Dentistry. My vision is to provide caring and comprehensive care to families, so children of all ages are welcome! It is important to me that families as a whole are able to receive their dental care under one roof.
As a little background on myself, I was raised in Ambridge, Pennsylvania, just outside of Pittsburgh, and I always knew I wanted to pursue a health care profession since I was a little boy. I joined the United States Air Force after graduation from high school, and it was during this time that I knew dentistry was my calling. I was blessed enough to be exposed to multiple medical specialties working in the hospital while I served, and dentistry was where my passion lied.
Following my time in service, I received myBachelorsof Science in Biology from Robert Morris University. I then went on to receive my Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry from the University of Pittsburgh, which is one of the top dental education institutions in the country. I married my beautiful wife, Ashley, after leaving the service, and she has supported me throughout my education. We now have 5 amazing youngsters of our own: Ethan 9, Mason 7,Gerad5, Alina 3 and our baby girl Quinn is 8 months.
I am excited to work alongside the amazing team at Means Family dentistry, and I hope you will allow me to continue to provide you with the same excellent and professional care that Dr. Means has provided over the years.
Melanie joined our team in 2015 and brings a wide variety of experiences to Means Family Dentistry. She received her Dental Assistant Certificate in 2001 and worked as an assistant prior to becoming a hygienist. She earned her Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2003 at Waukesha County Technical College in Wisconsin. She spent 7 years providing care in a Periodontal Specialty Practice in Atlanta, Georgia. Melanie is certified in CPR and is licensed to administer local anesthesia. She is also a licensed Public Health Dental Hygiene Practitioner (PHDHP) which allows her to provide dental hygiene services independently in a public setting. She looks forward to providing you with the utmost compassion and highest quality dental care to maintain your oral health.
Katie joined Means Family Dentistry in September 2018. She began her dental assisting career in 1996 with Dr. Means. After years of staying home with her children, she is excited to be back and part of our team!Her favorite part of dental assisting is helping patients feel comfortable and relaxed during treatment.
Amy, Registered Dental HygienistAmy joined our team in January 2018. She received her Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from West Liberty University. With over 25 years of dental experience, she is still passionate about patient care and education. Her favorite part of her job is getting to know patients and helping them feel at ease during treatment.
Kevin has joined Rosinsky Family Dentistry in October 2019. Previously, he was an enlisted member in the United States Air Force for 12 years. His expertise in management and accounting will ensure a smooth transition for the new owner, Dr. Mathew. He is excited to become a valued member of the community and looks forward to meeting you all!
