My interest in the field of orthodontics began as early as middle school, which led me to eventually become a dental assistant and discover my passion for dental care. I was driven to choose the dental profession by a desire to transform others lives through changing their smiles and bolstering the confidence they have in themselves. Each day, I come to work so I can help make a difference in peoples lives by working closely with them to help create beautiful smiles.
After 23 years of working as an orthodontist, I still love and enjoy what I do. It has always been my goal to make each patient feel comfortable and provide excellent results when they come to me for their orthodontic treatment. Over the years, I have met wonderful patients and their families. Every day I feel blessed to have made a difference in my patients lives.
Motivated by my deep commitment to excellence and my dedication to my patients, I achieved a board certification through the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO). I have received other awards and honors, including the American Association of Women Dentists Award, the American Society of Pediatric Dentistry Award and the Academy of General Dentistry Award. I was also selected as a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society and have held a professor position at the University of Florida College of Dentistry.
As a diplomate of both the American Board of Orthodontics and the Roth Williams International Society of Orthodontists (RWISO), I feel it is important to stay on the cutting-edge of orthodontics in order to offer the most advanced treatments. Thus, I hold active memberships in various local, state and national dental/orthodontic organizations, including:

Our experience with Dr. Rosie Aviles has been one of excellence. I took my daughter to her office for a second opinion and we chose to do her treatment with Dr. Rosie. She has been amazing and answered every question I had. Dr. Rosie and her staff are amazing very friendly and knowledgeable. My daughter feels very comfortable going there, they treat us like family. Dr. Rosie and her staff are nothing short of AMAZING! I just finished my Invisalign treatment and my teeth look great! And now I have a new smile! But honestly the best part of getting braces was having such an experienced, caring, and fun staff seeing me through the journey. From the first call to Dr. Rosie's office I knew we had found our family's orthodontist! LaTasha brings such a wonderful presence to the entire experience from scheduling, to financing and office visits. Dr. Rosie and the rest of the team are equally warm and energetic. You can really tell that everyone loves what they do which is why we chose Dr. Rosie for not only my daughters braces but also personally for Invisalign as an adult.

As a dental professional, I am very particular with who I allow treat my children. I sought out Dr. Rosie due to her credentials and experience in the practice of orthodontics. She is one of the few orthodontists that go beyond traditional learning to become a board certified diplomat. She is very detailed and never cuts corners which is extremely important for the safety of the young and developing patient. I found my experience very different at her office than others I have been to for opinions. There are few practices left that provide such close interaction with the doctor and I appreciate the personal contact and concern that Dr. Rosie so often provides. The staff is top notch. You can always tell the quality of the practice by the long standing loyal team in place. Thank you Dr. Aviles and team for improving mine, my child's, and my family's life! We look forward to many years of pretty smiles, healthy occlusion, and better breathing.

After seeing 4 different orthos for consultations for our 2 daughters, we chose Dr. Rosie. From the minute we walked in her office, she and her staff were so friendly and welcoming! Dr. Rosie sat with us for almost an hour explaining everything and showing us photos and different options. She is so knowledgeable! I chose this practice because of the diversity and client experiences. The staff is patient and took the time to explain every step and answer all of my questions. LaTasha gave me several treatment plan options and explained the financing in everyday language. She proved that women at any age can improve their smile and shared her journey with me that made me feel more comfortable and at ease.
