Dr. Rosenthal is a native of Savannah, Georgia. Following graduation from Savannah Country Day School, Dr. Rosenthal attended the University of Georgia where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. In 1998, after earning his degree in dental medicine from The Medical College of Georgia, Dr. Rosenthal returned to Savannah to begin practicing dentistry.
Dr. Rosenthal enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has a special interest in cosmetic and complex restorative treatments. In addition, Dr. Rosenthal also enjoys working with children and special needs patients.
Dr. Richards is an experienced dentist who has been practicing dentistry for over 40 years. He graduated from college at the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Microbiology & Biophysics. He subsequently obtained his dental degree at Temple University Dental School graduating in 1979. Dr. Richards then returned to Pittsburgh for a General Practice Residency program at Montefiore Hospital prior to establishing himself in private practice in upstate New York, where he established a partnership dental practice in the Albany area.
In 1995 Dr. Richards moved to the Washington DC region and established a new dental practice in Manassas, VA where he practiced until his retirement in 2014. Dr. Richards and his wife Colleen moved to the Landings on Skidaway Island at that time. However, Dr. Richards decided that he wasnt quite ready to fully retire from Dentistry quite yet. So he acquired his Georgia Dental license in 2015 so that he could continue practicing the profession that he loves, part time. He has worked with various Savannah area practices since 2016. We are delighted that Dr. Richards has now joined forces with Dr. Rosenthal and we all anticipate a rewarding association together here at the Rosenthal Dental Group going forward into the future.

I love this place. I have been going there for 7 years. I never in my life enjoyed coming to a dentist so much. I just enjoy the staff. I feel a sense of warm and comfort with Ana and Doc that I just have never found anywhere else. They are like family.

Dr. Rosenthal extracted 2 teeth in preparation for a 4-tooth bridge. Although a long time in the chair, my experience was quite pleasant and he was careful to make sure the job was done completely to assure a good result. I was very pleased with his work and that of his assistants.

Painless tooth cleaning by Erica and timely & thorough exam by Dr. Rosenthal. They make going to the dentist not something to dread. The next time (April 2022) it was Myra and Dr. Rosenthal and it was a painless experience. Simply the best!
