Dr. Fredda Rosenbaum graduated from Barnard College in 1976 and earned her DDS from NYUs College of Dentistry, graduating with honors in 1982. She is a certified member of theInternational Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine(IABDM) and an accredited member of theInternational Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology(IAOMT).
Dr. Rosenbaum was inspired to become a dentist because of her own journey with dental challenges, which began as a small child. After graduating from Barnard, she decided to face her childhood fears by becoming a dentist.
I was six years old when my I had my first toothache. My teeth were decayed, lost, dead, spotted a mess. But dentists saved my smile. I have a true understanding of what my patients go through and a deep respect when they gather the courage to come in and change their dental health for the better. By the time I finished dental school, I had developed a profound respect for what those doctors had accomplished in my youthful mouth.
Dr. Seth Gilson is an action-oriented individual and is inspired by nature and the love displayed in others actions. He was born and raised in South Florida, graduated with a degree in biology from the University of Florida, completed dental school at Nova Southeastern University and has been in private practice since 2011.Dr. Gilson is a practicing functional and holistic dentist as well as a certified yoga teacher since 2019. He has backgrounds in both clinical functional medicine principles as well as clinical research experience in the hospital setting. He has been an avid sports and health enthusiast since his youth and has a strong passion for and has played soccer in both South Florida and New York at the collegiate and professional levels.He now focuses his energy on family, education and growth of the mind, body and spirit, building community and improving the lives of others. From his passion for spreading healthful information regarding the benefits of lifestyle choices founded on the principles of functional medicine and functional dentistry, he created the brand called Mindful Doctor and a show called The Art of Mindful Medicine which can be viewed on his Instagram and YouTube channel.Dr. Gilson believes the greatest gift we can offer is to share with others. He is passionate about sharing his willingness to encounter the unknown. Mirlande Pubien (Millie), CRDH Mirlande has been in the dental field for over 25 years. She began her dental career as a dental assistant and fell in love with helping patients achieve a healthy smile. She furthered her career by graduating from Miami Dade College as a Certified Registered Dental Hygienist with a separate license in administering local oral anesthesia. She is so excited and elated to be part of Our Holistic Office and finally practice using holistic alternatives since she has applied these for her own life and that of her family. She and her husband Sean have three children and 1 grandchild.
Maria J Llanes (Josie) has been in dentistry for 11 years. She graduated from Miami Dade College as a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2011, receiving her Local Anesthesia certification in 2013. She continued her studies at Nova Southeastern University and graduated in 2017 with a Bachelors degree in Biology. She is thrilled to have also graduated in 2020 with her Masters in Public Health. Josie is passionate about educating her patients on their oral health and seeing them heal from periodontal infections. She is so excited to learn the holistic approach and how the body heals once given the appropriate tools. Her daughter Jocelyn, currently studies Biology at FIU with the intention to become an Orthodontist. Josie shares her life with her husband Amaury.
Suzette MooreSue graduated from Lindsey Hopkins Medical Campus in 1991 with certification for Dental Assistant and Expanded Functions and has assisted in private practice ever since. She joined our practice in 2000 and especially enjoys assisting Dr. Rosenbaum during oral surgery, implant surgery, and in the most intricate procedures we do. In her time away from the office, she enjoys photography and is truly gifted with capturing special moments with a camera much like she does through helping make patients new smiles. She and her husband Larry have two adult children, Rachel and Kenny.
Donna DuVoir Gray was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Donna has been working in the dental field for 20 years as a dental assistant in orthodontics and general dentistry. Working with Dr Rosenbaum and Pereira is her first experience with holistic dentistry, and she has fallen in love. Donna is excited about learning the holistic approach, and it has already lead to an increased awareness in herself as she becomes more in tune with her physical and mental health. Learning this new modality is one of the best parts of her dental assisting career. In her spare time Donna enjoys relaxing on our sandy beaches and dressing up for photo shoots. Her favorite saying is 'We are only human!' - when there is nothing else that you can do leave it alone and give it to God.
Cristina Bello is our office manager. Cristina has been in dentistry for nearly three decades and with Dr. Rosenbaum since August 2002, where she started out as a dental assistant. Today she not only manages the office but she also helps our new patients in coordinating financial arrangements and complex treatment plans. She coordinates sedation patients and provides assistance where needed, and accommodates busy schedules. In her free time, she and her husband Ismael enjoy their large growing family of 4 adult children and two younger sons living at home
Alexis (Lexi) Pea is our treatment coordinator. She attended FIU and completed her studies in Health Services Administration. She has worked in the dental field for over 16 years, with experience in Pediatrics, Orthodontics and of course in General Dentistry. She has a strong passion for teeth and is fascinated with the holistic world and how it ties into dentistry. She truly loves helping and educating others when it comes to their oral health. She loves volunteer work especially with children, in the past she has worked with organizations like Women in Distress.
