Rosen heads the practice and has been working in the Chicago area for over 30 years. She is well-known for not only her excellent orthodontic treatment, but her compassion for patients. Dr. Rosens two associates, Dr. Ben Belavsky and Dr. Kristina Sakas Katz, work with her to serve patients with excellence.

Dr. Jacqueline G. Rosen has been working in the north suburban Chicago area for more than 30 years. She is known throughout the community for her excellence in orthodontics as well as her compassionate personality.

Since 1990, Dr. Rosen has lived in Northbrook, where she and her husband Bill have raised their two children. Her daughter, Kristina, joined the practice upon completion of her orthodontic residency at the University of Southern California. Her son, Rob is currently studying accounting at Loyola University while working in the business field.

Dr. Rosen received her bachelors degree from Northwestern University and continued her studies at Northwestern University Dental School, where she earned her doctor of dental surgery and a masters degree in orthodontics. She then went into private practice as an orthodontist at our offices in Buffalo Grove and Highland Park.

Dr. Rosen stays current in orthodontics and dentistry by attending numerous seminars and lectures. Shes actively involved in the local branch of the Chicago Dental Society, where she has held the offices of membership chairperson and vice president. She currently serves as President.

Dr. Rosen is an Assistant Professor at the UIC College of Dentistry in the department of orthodontics. She plays an important clinical role at the university by teaching the residents how to treat patients.

In his free time, Dr. Belavsky enjoys spending time with his family and with his wife, Ashley. Some of his favorite activities are cooking, watching movies, reading, getting outdoors, listening to music, playing drums, and traveling.

Dr. Belavsky earned his dental degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry (UIC), graduating at the top of his class. He also completed his advanced orthodontic residency program at UIC and served as class president.

While in dental school and in residency, Dr. Belavsky received awards for outstanding leadership, impressive scholastic performance, and compassionate patient care. In addition, his masters thesis on plaque removal was published in the International Journal of Dentistry and Oral Science.

Dr. Belavsky is an Assistant Professor at the UIC College of Dentistry in the department of orthodontics. He teaches the orthodontic residents, and also lectures to the dental students, on topics such as: Invisalign, retention, patient satisfaction, biomechanics, and craniofacial anomalies. In addition to lecturing, he plays an important clinical role at the university by teaching the residents how to treat patients.

Dr. Kristina Sakas Katz has been a lifelong orthodontic learner. Beginning at 10 years of age, she could be found shadowing her mother, Dr. Jacqueline G. Rosen, at the office. This early childhood interest developed into a lifelong passion.

While in dental school, she immersed herself in the community by providing free oral health screenings, dental care and hygiene instruction to children from low-income families in the Greater Los Angeles area. Dr. Sakas Katz further pursued opportunities to support the community by providing regular hygiene instruction to the families of her husbands special education students.

Graduating in the top of her class, Dr. Sakas Katz went on to attend USC's orthodontic residency program where she earned a Master of Science degree in craniofacial biology and a specialty degree in orthodontics.

Dr. Sakas Katz is a board certified orthodontist, which means she has voluntarily gone through additional hours of preparation to demonstrate the judgment, skills and knowledge required for providing the highest level of patient care. Achieving board certification is the last step in a long and intensive educational experience to ultimately provide excellent patient care.

At Rosen Orthodontics, we know that each of our patients are unique and therefore need individualized orthodontic treatment. Once you schedule your first visit to meet directly with Dr. Rosen, Dr. Sakas Katz or Dr. Belavsky, our staff will work to make sure that you are comfortable and all of your questions are answered. During my free time, I enjoy shopping, working out, and spending time with my daughter. An interesting fact about me is I like to scrapbook, and I speak Russian.

Lead Technician My favorite thing about being an orthodontic technician is working with children. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter, and son. An interesting fact about me is I was born in Romania and came to America when I was 2 years old, and speak Romanian with my whole family.

Ortho Tech/Treatment Coordinator My favorite thing about being an orthodontic technician is seeing all the amazing transformations and how they impact patients lives. During my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, dog (Thor), and going on long walks. I lived in Mexico briefly when I was younger, and I am bi-lingual. An interesting fact about me is I am planning on becoming more of a traveler and look forward to seeing the world.

Ortho Tech My favorite thing about being an orthodontic technician is getting to know all of our patients! It is so rewarding to form relationships with so many different people while helping them create beautiful smiles. I have been working with Dr. Rosen since I was 14 years old, during which time I became a patient myself! I just completed my bachelors degree in biochemistry at the University of Illinois at Chicago and I am pursuing further education to continue caring for patients as a nurse! In my free time, I love to explore the city or read at the beach.

Ortho Tech My favorite thing about being an ortho tech is being part of patients' orthodontic journeys. Getting to know all of our patients individually and seeing their smiles transform is also super exciting! I am currently in treatment with Invisalign and I feel this makes me even better at my job because it helps me relate to our patients. In my free time, I enjoy snowboarding and working out!

Front Desk My favorite thing about being a business assistant is being able to provide great customer service to our amazing patients. During my free time I enjoy spending time with my children and our Yorkie, named Zoey. An interesting fact about me is that I bowl for a league!

Admin My favorite part about being a business manager is working with Dr. Rosen. I started 24 years ago as a front desk receptionist and changed to my present position. I love working with people. During my free time, I enjoy being with my grandchildren, cooking, walking at Botanic Gardens, and playing Maj Jong. An interesting fact about me is that I love to shop in grocery stores.
