Dr. Kristina Sakas Katz has been a lifelong orthodontic learner. Beginning at 10 years of age, she could be found shadowing her mother, Dr. Jacqueline G. Rosen, at the office. This early childhood interest developed into a lifelong passion.
Dr. Sakas Katz received a doctorate of dental surgery from the Herman Ostrow School Of Dentistry of USC at the University of Southern California. Graduating in the top of her class, Dr. Sakas Katz went on to attend USC's orthodontic residency program where she earned a Master of Science degree in craniofacial biology and a specialty degree in orthodontics.
Dr. Sakas Katz is a board-certified orthodontist, which means she has voluntarily gone through additional hours of preparation to demonstrate the judgment, skills and knowledge required for providing the highest level of patient care. Achieving board certification is the last step in a long and intensive educational experience to ultimately provide excellent patient care.
Dr. Belavsky earned his dental degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry (UIC), graduating at the top of his class. He also completed his advanced orthodontic residency program at UIC and served as class president.
While in dental school and in residency, Dr. Belavsky received awards for outstanding leadership, impressive scholastic performance, and compassionate patient care. In addition, his masters thesis on plaque removal was published in the International Journal of Dentistry and Oral Science.
Dr. Belavsky is an Assistant Professor at the UIC College of Dentistry in the department of orthodontics. He teaches the orthodontic residents, and also lectures to the dental students, on topics such as: Invisalign, retention, patient satisfaction, biomechanics, and craniofacial anomalies. In addition to lecturing, he plays an important clinical role at the university by teaching the residents how to treat patients.
In his free time, Dr. Belavsky enjoys spending time with his family and with his wife, Ashley. Some of his favorite activities are cooking, watching movies, reading, getting outdoors, listening to music, playing drums, and traveling.
Dr. Jacqueline G. Rosen has worked in the north suburban Chicago area for more than 30 years. She is known throughout the community for her excellence in orthodontics and her compassionate personality.
She provides each patient optimal and individualized treatment by working with her referring dentists and other dental specialists. Since 1990, Dr. Rosen has lived in Northbrook, where she and her husband Bill have raised their two children. Her daughter, Kristina, joined the practice upon completing her orthodontic residency at the University of Southern California. Her son, Rob, is currently studying accounting at Loyola University while working in the business field. In addition to her family and orthodontic practice, Dr. Rosen enjoys exercising, traveling, skiing and golf.

I've been coming here for about two years and finally got my braces off today! The staff here are very friendly and always make me feel comfortable about my progress. I never feel anxious walking into the office and enjoy making conversation with everyone. Nevertheless, I am very satisfied with my smile and will definitely have more confidence with straight teeth!

I originally had mixed reviews for this office. Office is clean, staff is nice, getting there and parking is easy. I had some initial misunderstandings with staff on scheduling and changing appointments. I was contacted directly by one of the owners and we discussed my issues. Perspective means a lot going both ways. No person or business is perfect. Customer service means a lot to me. If we can talk through it, I'm willing to change my mind (and my review).

Friendly, professional staff left me satisfied with the care they provided. Even when I needed chili for my next meal after getting my braces tightened.. I enjoyed the dentist, which I think is a first for me. Would highly recommend.

Had a great experience!! I wanted to correct my overbite and crooked teeth on the bottom before my wedding day. The team continued to work with me until I was 100% happy and we completed the process just in time for wedding festivities. Everyone is so friendly too - I'll miss seeing them! A wonderful family owned local business that provides top notch orthodontic care to the community. I had the pleasure of having my smile perfected with Dr. Rosen & Dr. Ben over the course of a few years and I couldn't have been happier with the care I received. I got to experience having my teeth straightened with braces and towards the end of my cycled opted to finish Invisalign.
