For over 50 years, Rosedale Family and Cosmetic Dentistry have been creating beautiful smiles. Dr. Robert Padousis established our practice in 1968 on Golden Ring Road. In 1982, the practice expanded and moved to our present location. Dr. Evan Padousis joined our Rosedale team in 1997, making Rosedale a multigenerational approach. Along with Dr. Shalini Sethi and Dr. Stavros Papaeracleous, Dr. Padousis is committed to providing high-quality general, restorative, and cosmetic dental services to patients in his Rosedale, MD dental office.
Our professional dental team takes an interdisciplinary approach to dental care. They collaborate with local specialists as needed to provide comprehensive dental solutions. Dr. Padousis has experience in treating the varying needs of patients from routine disease prevention to tooth replacement and smile makeovers. He completed training from the Hornbrook Groups Ultimate Occlusion Program and provides Invisalign treatment for teen and adult patients with mild to moderate orthodontic concerns.
Dr. Sethi is a highly trained and experienced periodontist. She specializes in tooth replacement with dental implants and offers comprehensive care for periodontal disease, she also specializes in oral surgery. Dr. Pappas is passionate about helping patients enjoy a healthy smile with personalized general dental care. He has many years of experience in offering patients high-quality treatment for complex needs with long-lasting results.
We provide preventative dental solutions to patients at Rosedale Family and Cosmetic Dentistry. This aspect of dental care can stop future oral health problems from developing. We use advanced digital x-rays to take images of patients teeth and surrounding structures. Because we use digital x-rays, we can easily share them with specialists as needed. In addition, compared to traditional x-rays, digital x-rays emit 80% less radiation, so it is a safe option for both patients and dentists.
We use panoramic x-rays for a 360-degree view of the mouth. The x-ray machine rotates around the patient to take images of the bone, nerves, and sinuses. This type of x-ray takes a complete picture that is particularly useful for implant restorations, orthodontics, and TMJ treatment.
An intraoral camera is a small, handheld device that we use to look for the early signs of disease and decay. These cameras can offer a more in-depth view of all surfaces in the mouth for identifying dental concerns and problems.
The Cavitron is a handheld device that we use to treat patients with gum disease. It uses ultrasonic technology to remove calculus from the teeth and gums. Calculus is hardened plaque, which is a sticky film of bacteria. Although calculus can be difficult to remove with simple brushing and flossing, the Cavitron can remove calculus gently and quickly without any pain.
Dr. Evan Padousis is a Rosedale, MD dentist. Hegraduated from Dickinson College with a Bachelor of Science in 1993. In 1997, he earned his degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, College of Dental Surgery. Upon graduation, Dr. Padousis received an award for Endodontics.
Dr. Padousis has completed training in Invisalign and in the Hornbrook Groups Ultimate Occlusion Program. He is an active participant in the Greater Chesapeake Study Club. In 2013 and in 2014, he was recognized as one of Baltimores Best Dentists by Baltimore Magazine.
Dr. Shalini Sethi, DDS, is a Rosedale, MD dentist and fellowship-trained periodontist. Dr. Sethi specializes in placing all types of dental implants and treating all stages of periodontal disease. She has years of experience in providing patients with periodontal surgery, dental implants, and oral cosmetic surgery.
Dr. Sethi earned a bachelors degree in microbiology at the University of Maryland in College Park. After completing her undergraduate education, Dr. Sethi enrolled at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore, where she completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery.
After receiving her medical degree, Dr. Sethi completed a general practice residency at the Miami Veteran Affairs Hospital. Then, she completed a specialty fellowship in periodontics at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Today, Dr. Sethi is a leading provider of individualized, high-quality periodontal health care. As a key member of our team of providers, Dr. Sethi works towards helping patients achieve excellent oral health and reach their smile goals.
Dr. Stavros Papaeracleous (Pappas) was born in Cyprus and came to the United States later in life. In 1980, he graduated from UMBC with a Bachelor of Science degree. In 1984, he earned his degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, College of Dental Surgery.
After graduation, Dr. Pappas began working at the Dental Center in Perry Hall, MD. In March of 1994, he joined Rosedale Family and Cosmetic Dentistry. and has been helping our patients have healthier, more beautiful smiles ever since. Dr. Pappas is now a Rosedale, MD dentist who helps provide comprehensive, comfortable dental care to patients of all ages.

This was the best experience I've had at the dentist. From the time arrived to when I was done the customer service was excellent. I felt very comfortable and felt like they really cared. I highly recommend Rosedale Dental.

This dentistry is AMAZING!!! They are very polite, informative, patient, and prompt. I never have to wait a long time to be seen and they are great with scheduling and communication. Best team I've ever had work on my teeth

Always enjoy my appointments with Ellie and Dr Evan. Ellie is my go to hygienist and is very thorough. My recent appointment was not as easy as usual because my pollen allergies were really acting up. Ellie was patient and kind, and elevated the chair to help subside my cough, even though this required her to stand throughout my cleaning. Ellie and Dr E always make me feel so comfortable, and are so friendly and personable. If you're looking for a dental practice, I would highly recommend them!

If there were 10 Stars I would rate the Office of Dr. Padousis. He did an outstanding jump fixing an old military repair. He is ALWAYS so nice and very comfortable to accept as our family dentist. He gets the job done and done right!!! His entire staff are just a bunch sweet people to the point you look forward to seeing them!!! Yes we ALWAYS feel like family!!! Great dentists here. A little bit pushy on the sales side of dental svcs. I think the dentist is trying to earn an extra car payment by up-selling me crowns! But, overall, the staff are nice and it doesn't take too long to get in for an appointment. 5-star

Great Dentist. Great staff. From the time you walk in to the time you walk out the staff makes sure everyone is safe with the Covid protocols. Being able to be in the waiting area when your kids are getting a check-up is wonderful.

The whole staff is super nice and casual. They have never cancelled an appt on me and today after finishing a filling, the Dentist himself gave me a cleaning because I was due (and the next availibility would have been months later!! So they did it real quick before I left. Love them!

I've been going to Dr. Pappas for eleven years (11) now and I'm very happy. Very professional, nice staff. Everyone here is really knowledgeable and friendly. They even put up with my lame jokes! And if you greet Dr. Pappas in Greek, he's even nicer than usual. I feel at home here, and I intend to keep going for as long as I can. Thank you very much!
