Dr. Rose is friendly and seems competent. One star is for support staff. 1. Front desk mismanagement causes confusion with scheduling locations between Hanford and Fresno. Front desk staff confrontational when clearly mistake on their part. The front desk staff are unprofessional and lack concern for their patients. We take take time off work to make these appointments so these scheduling mistakes have significant impact on customer. 2. Checked in, waited 30 minutes, then they tried to no-show me, said I never checked in. I told them I checked in and they told me that I should have said something. Front desk staff need to take accountability for their mistakes and not shift the blame on patients.

We love the staff! Dr Rose is a strange person and I don't think he has a sense of humor but he's amazing at what he does.

Overall I'm not really happy with my experience here. I was told that I would have braces for a year and a half to two years, I am now on my 5th year and getting them off with a different orthodontist. The people in the office are kind and did their best, however two and a half years (already longer than anticipated) into my treatment I left for college and was told to just come in to the office when I came home from school. Seeing as I went to school out of state that was very difficult and so I ended up transferring orthodontists. We had originally paid off my braces at Rose's office since we thought that I would finish treatment there, but when I realized I would need to transfer to another orthodontist I found that they had used all of my insurance coverage and my insurance would not cover the rest of my treatment since they took everything available and we would not be able to get any of that money back, so we had paid them the full amount of my treatment even though they did not finish the job. I ended up having to pay $2000 out of pocket for another orthodontist to finish my treatment, whereas if they had finished my treatment within the time we were told I would not have had to pay anything more than what was already paid. I had braces much longer than was ever anticipated and ended up paying much more for it because of this. Made for a very lengthy and miserable experience with braces. I wish I never started treatment here.
