This place advertises they are open on Fridays and the website states they take dental emergencies. After calling numerous times with no one to take my call I walked up at 9::45am with a dental emergency and they were closed. Why advertise that you're open, especially for emergencies, when you're not? To top it off there was an employee who walked in, grabbed something, and walked out. I gave this place 1 star because it's fradulent advertising and I could have used my time to find a place that was actually open. Don't waste your time. Unity Care Dental on Cornwall is really open on Fridays if you have an emergency.

I just moved into the area from Pennsylvania and I just had my first office visit with Dr. Clarkman to restore some molars. I was positively impressed with his professionalism, his mannerisms, his modern office facility and his staff. He was very straight forward with explaining to me in much detail the procedures of his work on me that day. His entire staff appeared happy to be working with Dr. Clarkman, seemed very friendly..very competent. The office atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming. For sure... I shall return knowing I have found a good dentist, one that I can trust to properly care for my teeth. To improve the look and structure of my upper front teeth Dr. Clarkman had veneers made and installed on 6 of my upper front teeth. Wow! I was so impressed with the results. He did a fantastic job! The veneers are a perfect match and my smile is now like it never was before. I'm so pleased with the results. Prior to the veneer work Dr. Clarkman also crowned most of my back molars some of which were badly discolored and literally starting to break apart. Here again he did a fantastic job. So anyone looking to have this kind of work done for them I highly recommend you first consult with Dr.Clarkman and know that you can trust his advise and that the work will be done right. Rest assured he most certainly has the skills necessary to do the job right and I'm confident that you will be as satisfied as I have been with the results.

Everyone was so nice! I know the dentist is generally an annoying place to go, but everyone at Roots was so wonderful and took such good care of me, I'm actually not dreading my next appointment! Thank you guys!

I cannot urge you enough to call Roots Dental. Today was my first appointment and they helped ease my giant fears about the dentist, especially financing questions. Every single person here was so nice and I'm actually very relieved compared to before. Thank you very much, I am excited to start this process with you guys!

My 86-year-old father was in town recently and the office took him in to take care of some pain he was experiencing. They originally scheduled him 6 days from the time I called, but then called me back the next day letting me know they could get him in the following day due to a cancellation. I've only been going here a year since moving to Bellingham and just with this simple act of kindness for my family, I plan to stay for the long term. They are fantastic.

So far I've only had one visit, but am impressed. In the past 5 years I've had a dentist that I loved in Portland, and one I was so-so on in Seattle. Roots is easily the most technologically enabled of the three; though I think more important is knowledge of the field (which, as a patient, you're always trying to triangulate). The initial evaluation by the dentist gave me confidence (time will tell); but the hygienist was easily the most knowledgeable and informative of any I've ever had, giving me insight into care that I wasn't expecting. If the dentist turns out to be half as good as the hygienist, this office will turn out to be a real winner. Would recommend.

I cannot even begin to recommend Roots Dental enough. The office is very friendly and inviting. The front desk staff was wonderful and they were able to work with my schedule to get me in quickly. Dr. Clarkman did a fantastic job on my crown. He took his time to explain everything in detail, and he answered all of my questions thoroughly - The visits never felt rushed! Mandy was my Dental Assistant and she was so sweet and kind. One thing that stood out to me is that all of the staff members were very respectful and kind to one another. This was hands down the best dental office I have ever been to!

I have gone to the same dentist for last 15 years so I was pretty nervous to switch over to Roots but thanks to Niccolle and Dr. Clarkman for making me feel at ease about my visits and answering all my questions especially when it came to past experiences or anxiety.

Very friendly, uses new technology that gets my teeth cleaner and makes dental cleaning actually a pleasurable experience, and whenever I go I feel a boost to my self esteem due to the compliments they give me on my teeth. I am appreciative of how he explains what he is looking at when he does the exam, as it both helps me trust his expertise and I feel more involved in my dental care. Additionally, the dental hygienists are not only gentle but thorough with their cleaning, but they also have a good balance of talking and silence.

I called for a more urgent appointment as thought I had an abscess without pain. Office staff told me the dentist was out of town all week but told me to come in and they would do xrays and photos to send to dentist. The office staff was very kind!! The dentist called in an antibiotic and scheduled an appointment when dentist returned. Excellent care!!

Great care and nice people. I hadn't been to a dentist in many years and needed deep cleaning. Everyone there was friendly and they gave me a lot of info about what I needed, billing, etc. They never made me feel embarrassed or shamed about waiting so long to see a dentist and they gave me lots of info and advice without being patronizing, which I think can be hard to do. The cleaning was as gentle as it could be and I was frequently asked how I was doing and updated on progress, etc. It was pretty much the best experience I could have hoped for under the circumstances. I definitely recommend these people/this clinic.
