She was awarded the Scholars in Medicine Grant to conduct research on the integration of medicine and dentistry. Dr. Tran was also active in the Endodontics Study Club and received Honors in her endodontic course work upon graduation.

My experience with Dr Kwok and the staff was wonderful. Having heard horror stories about the root canal process, I came with trepidation. Dr Kwok put me at ease by explaining the process and answering all my questions ... he was patient and understanding. He and the staff were especially accommodating with my busy schedule. Oh and the root canal? No pain, no complications. I highly recommend Dr Kwok and the Norwich Root Canal Specialist!

Had a great experience. Dr Amy and her staff are professional and friendly. No one wants a root canal but if you need one this is the office to visit. I felt no discomfort , all my questions were answered and the whole procedure was completed in a timely fashion. Dr Amy , Christie and the rest of the staff put me at ease and that is something to smile about.

I contracted Covid-19 in December and had to reschedule my December appointment because of this. I just went to reschedule my January because I booked it too late in the day and they told me they won't allow any more reschedules and to find another location. So they get a 1 star for horrible customer service and Covid-19 policies regarding rescheduling due to illness.

Hands down the best dental experience I've ever had. Between the friendly staff and music playlist, I actually enjoyed having a root canal done

Terrible experience in 2012. Would never return. They tried taking x-rays of the wrong tooth and told me I was incorrect. Extremely rude front staff.

A month ago I had a root canal assessment and consultation with Dr. Jason Kwok. The information provided by Dr. Kwok was extremely helpful. He provided multiple options and was honest about the risks, e.g. that this was a medium risk root canal that might fail. I returned to have the root canal today and for various legitimate reasons the root canal failed. During the whole procedure I was very comfortable and felt no pain. We discussed options at that point and he made some good recommendations like if you're going to have an implant, have the periodontist pull the tooth that will do the implant because they may handle the extraction a little differently based on placement of the implant. And to wrap this up the office and medical staff were very helpful in answering my questions and getting back to me with updates. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Kwok to anyone needing Endodontic services.

I needed a root canal, but experience severe claustrophobia in a dentist office, in part due to my jaw locking if opened too wide. Dr. Kwok's genuine, caring approach during the consult convinced me to go for it, and he and his assistant demonstrated a competent professionalism, including unlocking my jaw! I am most grateful for Dr. Keon!

Had a root canal scheduled, I've had several, but you get nerved up regardless. Dr Amy discussed briefly what was going to happen only to reiterate from the previous meeting. The Doctor and her assistant tech whispered while interacting, I fell asleep. I actually rested while having a root canal. Left refreshed and ready to go back to work. JL

Dr. Amaro completed 2 re-treatments of previous root canals I had done in 2014, which were horribly botched by another practice. When I entered her office, I knew I had a large abscess above one of the affected teeth. After using her special "CAT scan" machine, we found out I actually had 2 Abscesses and a fistula, which had formed from the infection. She very patiently discussed my options and benefits of attempting to retreat both teeth. We both agreed that the case would be challenging due to a broken file that had been left behind in my canal from the first procedure--and due to the fact that my root had a hook at the end of it that she would have to navigate. Well, Dr. Amaro did a wonderful job! I ended up having 2 appointments. She is gentle and very kind. I didn't have any pain or discomfort at either visit. The Novocain injections were painless. She was able to navigate around the broken file and my crooked root. She saved both of my teeth--and for that I will always be grateful. I highly recommend her for any of your endo needs!
