Dr. Amaro went on to attend Temple University School of Dentistry, where she earned her D.M.D. graduating in the top 3% of her class. She was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society and won numerous awards including the Pierre Fauchard Award for excellence in periodontics. While in her junior year, Dr. Amaro traveled to Haiti with the Haitian Health Foundation providing free dental care to remote villages. She went on to continue her education in the post-doctoral residency program at Temple, graduating in 2000.

Dr. Amaro joined Root Canal Specialists that same year and has been serving the patients of South Eastern CT ever since. Recognized every year as among the Best Dentists in CT by Connecticut Magazine, Dr. Amaro is highly regarded by her patients and colleagues. Dr. Amaro is a Board Eligible member of the American Association of Endodontists, and member in good standing of the American Dental Association. She is an active member of the Connecticut State Dental Association and New London County Dental Association, recently serving as President.

Dr. Kwok then attended the University Of California San Francisco School Of Dentistry, where he graduated with honors and in the top 10% of his class in 2016. It wasnt long into his initial training, where he fell in love with the root canal specialty. After his training in dental school, Dr. Kwok went on to complete a General Practice Residency at Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts.

Dr. Kwok then worked as a general dentist for a year prior to matriculating into his Endodontics residency at the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry. Upon matriculation, he was quickly chosen as the chief resident for the program. Dr. Kwok was also selected by the American Association of Endodontists Outreach Foundation & Henry Schein Cares Foundation to attend the Jamaica Health Outreach Program in 2019.

Dr. Kwok has several publications, most notably in the Journal of Endodontics and in the Journal of Oral Health and Dental Research. He currently also practices as an adjunct clinical faculty for the University of Connecticut.

Dr. Kwok is a board eligible active member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, the Connecticut State Dental Association, and the Connecticut Association of Endodontists.

Dr. Kwok currently resides in Simsbury, Connecticut with his wife and daughter. Dr. Kwoks wife is currently a resident at the University of Connecticut Endodontics Program (where he just so happens to teach!).

Dr. Tran started her career as a scientist in the field of cancer and hypertension research, where she was committed to making discoveries that would benefit patients and translate to clinical use. She is published in the research journal Hypertension and has presented numerous times at national conferences including the Council for High Blood Pressure Research.

Her background as a researcher and desire to help others led her to pursue a Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Harvard. There, she developed a love for saving teeth and helping her patients retain their natural dentition. She was awarded the Scholars in Medicine Grant to conduct research on the integration of medicine and dentistry. Dr. Tran was also active in the Endodontics Study Club and received Honors in her endodontic course work upon graduation.

Following her studies at Harvard, she completed a combined endodontic residency and masters program at the University of Connecticut. Her research, titled the Use of Electrodermal Activity in Endodontic Diagnosis and Pain Assessment, was selected for oral presentation at the annual 2021 American Association of Endodontists meeting. She was awarded 10th place in her presentation category, and is currently working on a publication for her project.
