Born in Caracas, Venezuela he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1997. In 2001 he was the recipient of the prestigious Jacob Freedland Scholarship Award and in the summer of 2002, after completing a 3 year residency, he was awarded a Certificate of Endodontics and a Masters of Science degree in Oral Biology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry.
In 2004 he became a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree in 2004 at Temple University School of Dentistry. In 2005 he completed his second specialty training and obtained a Certificate in Endodontic Emergency Management at Temple University School of Dentistry.
He is the former Director of the Endodontic Emergency Service (2002-2005) and the Advanced Emergency Dentistry Course at Temple University School of Dentistry where he was actively involved in teaching at the graduate and undergraduate level.
In addition to being a national and international lecturer, his work has been published in Spanish, Japanese and English and several of his cases have been published in Pathways of the Pulp, the most prominent textbook in endodontics worldwide.
She obtained her Bachelor of Science from Cornell University in 1998. She then joined her brother in dental school at Temple University School of Dentistry, where she graduated in the top 10% of her class, was awarded most outstanding senior woman dental student and was elected to be a member of the Omnicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. She continued at Temple University where she was awarded a Certificate in Endodontics after completing a 2 year residency.
She was in private practice in Center City Philadelphia for one year, after which she decided to return to her home town of Saratoga Springs to open her own practice with her husband Dr. Francisco Banchs. Allyson is currently undergoing the process of Board Certification of Endodontics.
Allyson comes from a family of dentists with her father and brother being orthodontists, and her sister-in-law a pediatric dentist. She thoroughly enjoys providing quality of care to her patients and most importantly, relieving their pain. Her hobbies are running, theatre and dance, traveling and spending time with her family.
Amanda joined the Root Canal Experts team in October 2017. She went to college for Business Administration, and has been working in the field of dentistry since 2012. Her favorite part of working in the front office is getting to know the patients. Amanda was raised in Mohawk, NY, and moved to the Albany area in May 2017. When shes not working, Amanda loves spending time with her husband, step-son, three dogs, and cat. She is passionate about animals, reading, spending time outdoors, and traveling as much as possible.
Christine joined the Root Canal Experts team in August 2018. She works in the front office and loves interacting with patients and helping them with anything they might need. Christine grew up in Hyde Park, NY and moved to the Capital Region for College, where she studied Studio Art. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, working in her studio, and visiting museums and galleries.
Shaunna joined the Root Canal Experts team in October of 2015. She came from a small town just outside of Louisville, Kentucky. She brings with her over 10 years of experience in the medical field, and looks forward to expanding her extensive knowledge into the dental field. Patients love her upbeat attitude and contagious smile. When shes not assisting patients in the office Shaunna likes to spend time with her friends and family. She enjoys hiking and trying the many different restaurants downtown Saratoga has to offer.
Sierra joined the RCE team in July of 2017 and has loved everything about the environment in the short time that she has been here. She went to SUNY Cortland and studied biology and psychology, with an interest in the medical/dental field. Working for Dr. Byrne and Dr. Banchs has helped her further explore that interest and has already been a fulfilling and educational experience. She really enjoys working with an incredible team and hopes to learn and grow even more with the practice. Sierra grew up in Saratoga Springs, NY and still lives in the area. In her free time, Sierra is a wine/dog lover and likes to embrace the fun and beauty of Upstate NY. She is working on finishing her degree and determining what the future holds for her.
Since joining the Root Canal Experts Team in 2012, Jane has embraced an important role within the companys clinical everyday responsibilities and overall growth. She creates a unique patient experience while taking pride in delivering the highest quality of care during each procedure. She finds it rewarding to interact with so many different people and she loves getting to know everyones unique story. She also enjoys being in an environment that utilizes the best technology in order to help patients get the best outcome. Jane has a passion for makeup and beauty, and in her spare time she loves to try new food, travel the world, and discover the next best deal on Amazon Prime.
Tip has been with Root Canal Experts since September 2015. She was born in Burma and raised in Thailand. She is a valuable asset to the team and she is a pleasure to be around. She puts patients at ease with her easygoing attitude and you can hear her contagious laughter all around the office. During her time off, Tip can be found travelling and enjoying her time with friends and family. She loves trying new restaurants, has a love for all kinds of music, and is not afraid to try new things.
Jeep has been with Root Canal Experts since December 2018. She was born and raised in Thailand and graduated from Kasetsart University with a Masters Degree in Economics. She enjoys baking, cooking, and enjoying the outdoors with friends.

Told me they accepted delta dental but never told me they were out of network and not contracted by them. So I had to pay $2,500 out of pocket, while I have insurance.

This was THEE best experience I've ever had at a specialist appointment. The office is extremely clean, inviting and every single interaction I had was so friendly! I can not stop praising the whole experience to everyone! The efficiency of the visit makes a world of a difference, especially having an appointment during work hours, and being able to get in, attend your appointment, and leave having no questions for the follow up appointment. I am extremely impressed, and I recommend this facility! I will update on my next appointment when I visit the Clifton Park office! 5 Stars for Dr. Byrns and her staff!

First, there was no parking available, but I found parking. Second, they don't participate in any dental issuance. I was going to be charged $380 for an evaluation only and the treatment would have been $2500 for the actual root canal if the tooth could be saved. If not, I would have spent the $380 for an evaluation. The cost of just the evaluation included a mandatory cone CT, which according to the staff, I had to have done before even seeing the doctor and him even looking at the tooth to see if the cat scan was needed. In the end I decided not to have any the ng done there as the whole operation did not sit right to me. First impression is they are a money making outfit first and patient oriented second. Not for me.

Not happy to go to the dentist at all, I'm the kind of patient that has blacked out in the waiting room in the past kind of nervous, hearing I had to have a root canal done was almost the end of the world for me. But Dr Sukhani and his team did an amazing job, not only did I get my first appointment within a day, but the place is lovely, it feels nice and cozy. And for all the scare stories we've all heard about root canals, I can say mine was absolutely and completely pain FREE, and by the end of my appointments I was actually comfortable going here, so don't listen to people's horror stories about root canals, it's really not that big of a deal and you are going to feel so much better after it's done! Thank you to the whole team at the Root Canal Experts!

The entire team was friendly and caring. Allyson did my root canal and it was smooth and easy. And even gave her cell number in case I had issues over the weekend! Professional and excellent office staff and doctors. Dr Byrne made the root canal experience painless and unintimidating. I never felt rushed and Dr Byrne was happy to answer all questions and discuss treatment options at length. I would 100% recommend this office for treatment. They are top shelf providers.

This office is superb in all facets of dentistry. Doctors are true perfectionists and their work is incredible. As a local dentist, I see my patients that have been treated by this group, they all say the same thing: "painless, great experience, great docs and I got to watch a movie!" I would like to emphasize, the quality of a root canal at this office is top notch. Patients not only get rid of their infection or pain but also get to keep their teeth! : )

Nice office. Friendly environment and staff. $3000.00 for a root canal is quite steep. Maybe that's the going rate, but next time I'll shop around.
