Dentistry is an exciting place to be and I am blessed to be a part of it. The encounters that happen every day from meeting a mother and her two-year-old and completing the childs first dental visit without tears, to creating a healthy smile for someone who hasnt seen a dentist in many years are immensely rewarding. Each day is unique, with new people to get to know and new confidence to give.

I truly enjoy the challenge of creating custom treatment plans to address a persons individual needs. We see people of all ages, from different backgrounds and experiences, and each has their own fears and desires. This complexity is what makes dentistry beautiful!

For me, being a dentist is about building a relationship with the person sitting before me, actively listening to their needs, and designing a treatment plan that is unique to them. Then we see that plan through to fruition, together.

I first became interested in dentistry because of my late nephew. He was born with many congenital defects, and, as a result, was missing many teeth early on. His perseverance and positive spirit through that time in his life, and his absolutely infectious gummy smile, are what sparked my interest in the profession.

Soon after, I shadowed local dentists, and saw how a single, positive dental encounter can be life-changing. In this, I saw an opportunity to be part of peoples lives: helping them overcome fears, relieving pain, and providing solutions to their concerns and I never looked back!

Dentistry is an ever-changing field. Research leads to new methodologies and technologies, which can improve the patient experience and results. It is crucial for me tostay current on the latest developments in order to provide patients with the ideal treatment for their needs.

I am an active member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, and Mount Baker District Dental Society. These professional organizations offer a range of opportunities for me to expand my knowledge and skills. Through continuing education seminars, meetings, and lectures we continue to embrace new technologies and systems while learning from the leaders in dentistry.

February is National Children 's Dental Health Month and each year, some of our staff and I go to our local elementary schools to educate our youth on the importance of oral health. The kids learn about 'sugar bugs' and brushing and flossing and often are so proud to tell us how many teeth they 've lost!

I think a sense of community involves understanding each others strengths and weaknesses, and lifting each other up when needed. We can each use our strengths to elevate the quality of life of those around us, and getting to know our neighbors fosters a secure and close-knit community.

Growing up on a pear orchard in Yakima, I have been around agriculture my whole lifeand Im happy to now call Burlington my home. My husband John and I have been together for almost 20 years; we met in high school and marrieda decade ago. Hes a staple at our practice and does TONS of work behind the scenes to keep things running, functioning efficiently, and helping the day run smoothly overall for our patients and our staff.

Linkyn, our daughter whos in elementary school, is absolutely amazing! She is smart, independent, knows exactly what she wants, and is so very unique. She is a pleasure to be around and makes our lives so much fuller!

We love to explore new-to-us places by visiting the beaches here on the islands and along the Washington and Oregon coasts. We also travel to Yakima quite often, to visit extended family and friends. Closer to home, Linkyn keeps us busy with her many sporting events, piano lessons, and a myriad of other interests.

Our team what to say?! They are amazing! The spirit among our team is truly exceptional. Communication is a big thing here: communication with each patient and with each other, so no small details are missed. Every single person here lends a hand and supports their teammates. This allows them to serve ourpatients in the most incredible way. Procedures are thoroughly explained, comforting amenities are offered, and all the ts are crossed and the is dotted when it comes to the details. These people know dentistry and they know patient service! Dr. Rentschler

I really enjoy our patients and seeing them through their needs at RDC. I want each persons experience here to be happy and positive, from the moment they walk in, through their treatment and checking out. The team at RDC is a great group of people to work with: They are serious about what they do and genuinely care about the comfort and well-being of our patients.

As office manager, Sandy keeps us organized and prepared to give our patients the best possiblecare and experience. She handles financials, payroll, scheduling, and end-of-month reports, along with treatment plans, insurance matters, and supporting our staff.

Sandy and Jeff live in Arlington with their two cats, Sam Chumlee and Bo. They love spending time with their children, grandchildren, extended family, and friends. Sandy also loves to paint with water colors, travel, bake and cook, hike, and search for sea glass on the beach.

Ouroffice administrator, John, handles many of the behind-the-scenes details that keep the practice running. He manages payroll, makes deposits, and updates, upgrades, and manages all computer systems. He also talks with dental vendors, maintains and replaces equipment, and assists with sterilization and hygiene when needed. In addition, hes becoming proficient with front desk duties.

John and Dr. Amanda have been married for more than a decade. They have a beautiful, silly, funny, and adventurous daughter, Linkyn, who keeps them busy. John enjoys time with family and friends, kayaking, bike rides with the family, and exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Hes also a huge NBA fan and a super fan of the Portland Trail Blazers, as well as an NFL fan, and yes, a Seahawks fan, too!

The entire staff are friendly and competent and make you feel welcome and cared for. A special shout-out to Kristin, who did such an excellent job cleaning my teeth. I'm so happy to have found this dental center.

I highly recommend Roosevelt Dental. Dr. Rentschler and her dental assistant Rianna just filled three cavities for me and they made it seem so easy. Honestly I was so comfortable I fell asleep. I look forward to my next visit.

I do not recommend this place. They operate with hidden fees and just over all very unprofessional. They lack the foundation of patient care and customer service.

As a person who hates going to the dentist, I can say with full confidence that I wont mind returning. I'm a big baby when it comes to dental work but the staff put me at ease with a weighted blanket, noise cancelling ear phones and a stuffy. They also have a good sense of humor which I appreciate!

Best dental office hands down! Each and every staff member I've encountered are incredibly knowledgeable and professional. Clean environment and beautiful office. As a patient, I've never felt more comfortable in the dental chair! I love how thorough Dr. Amanda is with her work and takes the time to chat and answer any questions. Dr. Amanda really pays attention to detail in every aspect and it definitely shows in the beautiful work she does! Highly recommend to any friend or family member.

Probably the most pleasant exam and cleaning I've ever had! A nice touch to have my lips moisturized prior to cleaning. These ladies have a gentle touch too.

April 2020 - smack dab in the heat of covid, they were able to bring me in for an emergency visit because one of my teeth cracked and I had excruciating pain on another tooth. We just moved here and so it was really nerve racking to find a new dentist. I thought the visit was great and even thought, "Yeah I could totally be a new patient here!" We created a dental plan for me and the first step was a root canal in which I had to be recommended for an endodontist. Root Canal was completed and I was directed to wait to be contacted by the dentist office (Roosevelt dental) 2 weeks goes by, 4 weeks goes by no call... - finally I call and they can't find my info. I get a call back they're telling me that they can't get me in anytime soon - this temp putty (just the putty covering the hole, not even a temporary crown) can't last that long!! Months go by never got a call so I called again and then they couldn't even get me in for another month. :( Mind you... I don't even have a temporary crown on the tooth I just have some Rickity putty in the repaired canal. And my idea of continuing treatment from them dwindled. Finally I just decided to give up. I get it "COVID" messed things up and put things on hold - but long end-result short, I decided to get my unfinished root canal and dental treatment done elsewhere. Which is a bummer because reading your 4 and 5 star reviews, you guys seem great. I know this establishment reads these reviews - my name is Candice Natac, if you choose to look for the records. Hopefully as things are getting a little better with covid now, you guys are able to get a bit more organized.
