Dr. Scott Rooker is a general dentist in Redmond, OR. He received a Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology at UC Santa Barbara and spent several years as a research associate at Stanford University where he discovered his passion and talent for working on a miniature scale. He later received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from UCSF and met his wife while living in San Francisco. They now have two boys, Ford, 3 and Aiden who was born in October 2019.Dr. Rooker is passionate about dentistry and has been involved in multiple study clubs to further his skills and advance his knowledge. When not at work, Dr. Rooker enjoys mountain biking, skiing, working on cars, and of course, spending time with his family. Part of his vision for the practice is to treat all patients like family, which not only ensures that each patient will receive great care, but also allows us to make lasting relationships and actively enjoy visiting with each patient while they are here.
Outside of work Stefanie enjoys spending time with her boyfriend Nick and their two dogs out camping, hunting, and exploring the Pacific Northwest. She also enjoys spending time in the kitchen trying her hand in baked goods.
Heather is the office manager, receptionist and insurance coordinator, all in one! This means that when you call your experience will not be one transferring from person to person, or listening and navigating through automated systems, in search of someone that can assist you with your needs, Heather will be here to help you!
Heather has been a dental office manager for over 20 years. She was born and raised in the Redmond area, and has raised her two sons in Central Oregon as well. She enjoys spending time with her sons, daughter in-law, and beautiful granddaughter. Other important time is spent with extended family, friends, and numerous outdoor activities.
Heather looks forward to seeing all of the new and existing patients at her home away from home. Her career in the dental field is a blessing that she is very grateful for and enjoys each and every day.
Luz grew up in Hoodriver then attended and graduated Madras High School in 2002. The constant exposure to dental professionals during her 3 year treatment in orthodontic braces sparked an interest to become one herself. After completing a Dental Assisting program at Concorde Career Institute in 2003 Luz met the qualifications to become CDA, EFDA, and EFODA. Ever since Luz enjoys staying up to date with the dental profession attending continuing education classes whenever she can. Her favorite hobbies include exploring the outdoors, international traveling, and engaging in community outreach. Always wearing a smile, Luz looks forward to assisting you in your dental health care needs.

I was impressed with Dr. Rooker after my first visit. He took time to explain the whole process and seemed to pay attention to the details. He and his staff made sure that I was comfortable during the process.

They were ready and willing to get an appointment for my toothache. The testing of identifying the correct tooth culprit was extensive. I was given alternatives and will return and provide information to decide on an option.

This Dental facility is one of the best we've been to....from the great receptionist...the the friendly and competent hygienists...to the dentist that ALWAYS treats you like family.... couldn't ask for anything more!

I have always had a major fear of needles and of any dental work. That all changed when I started going to Rooker Family Dentistry. The whole staff is amazing! I don't know how they do it but I can barely feel any injections they give me, the work is always painless, and the results are always great. I can't say enough good stuff about this practice and everyone there.

Dr. Rooker is very professional and kind as are his staff. The dental hygienist did a great job of cleaning my teeth as well as a lot of teaching about the best care of my teeth. I was very comfortable throughout the visit!

I call to change an appointment for the next month and this unprofessional person left a massage saying they didn't have any appointments until November, and that she went ahead and cancel my appointments that I already had, which I have been waiting for a very long time. I call back and asked her why she went ahead and cancel without asking if I would like to keep my appointments since there is a long wait, she didn't even apologize and hang up on me. I called back and someone else answer and I asked to talked to the manager and they said, you just talked to her. I guess the manager hang up on me and cancel my appointments without asking . I would not recommend such a place, if they can't treat people with respect imagine what mess they would do to your teeth and if you call to complain, they would just hang up on you .

I had a great experience with Dr. Rooker and his staff. This has been the best experience I have ever had with a dentist office! Dr. Rooker is so friendly and positive. He will do everything possible to make sure you are comfortable both physically and with your treatment plan. Stephanie did my cleaning and she was Amazing! She was very gentle, i would take my child to her. Seriously. I would definitely recommend them!
