Ronald R. Garner DDS - General dentist in Vista, CA

We provide comprehensive treatment planning and use restorative and cosmetic dentistry to achieve your optimal dental health. Should a dental emergency occur, we make every effort to see and care for you within 24 hours.

As a practice, we are true believers that preventative care and education are the keys to optimal dental health. We strive to provide dental health care vs. disease care. Thats why we focus on thorough exams checking the overall health of your teeth and gums, performing oral cancer exams, and taking x-rays when necessary. We also know that routine cleanings, flossing, sealants, and fluoride are all helpful in preventing dental disease. Not only are we focused on the beauty of your smile, were also concerned about your total health and nutrition. A review of your medical history can help us stay informed of your overall health, any new medications, and any illnesses that may impact your dental health and any anesthetics we use.

Best experience going to the dentist! The whole team is kind and gentle. I have always avoided going to the dentist until now! They took great care of me. I have a beautiful smile for the first time in my life!

Dr. Garner's office is AMAZING!!! Very professional. Been going here for more than 10 years , as well as my friends and family. They are so reassuring and kind. Private office, not one of those corporate multiple dental offices that you never know what or who you're going to get. I will NEVER go anywhere else!! Best Dentist in ALL of San Diego County!!!

I hate to write a negative review because I know it can effect the business owner, however, I believe one is in order. I had a root canal and crown performed less than a year ago. Cost me $2,000. Last week the crown came off. I went in to see Dr. Garner today and he re-cemented the crown. He charged me $396.00 I was in the office for less than an hour. The crown was not broken. I thought there would be no charge and was very surprised when I got the bill. Apparently, since I was eating a Milk Dud when it happened, it was my fault. I did not know there would be food restrictions when the crown was originally installed. This critique is not a reflection on Dr. Garners professional skills. The $400 bill was with a $200 discount. Am I supposed to be happy about the discount? Part of the reason for the expense was that my gums were bleeding making it difficult to cement the crown back on. I have spoken to several people since this incident took place and I am not alone in thinking that there should not have been any charge or it should be been very little. Really, the dentist gives you a crown, it comes off in less than a year because you ate a milk dud and it costs you $400? I am retired and can't afford this office.
