Dr. Ron Mamrick enjoys providing dentistry to patients of all ages. He believes that great oral health comes from having the jaw joints, facial muscles and teeth working in harmony. To help his patients get and stay healthy, he wants to treat the root cause of problems rather than just the symptoms, so the result is long-term stability, optimal oral health, and beautiful smiles.
Those who know him would say that he is addicted to education. He loves to learn and loves sharing his knowledge with his patients. First, he received his bachelors and masters degrees in chemistry and then attended the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry, graduating with honors with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery. After that, he went on to complete the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at University of North Carolina. And if that wasnt enough, he went on to become a Scholar with The Dawson Academy for Advanced Dental Training. Hes also taken additional courses in evaluating and treating airway and breathing related disorders and temporal mandibular disorders (TMD) and continues be involved in various continuing education courses and study clubs.
A Dental Hygienist for 14 years, Amy received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene cum laude from Virginia Commonwealth University. A skilled dental professional, she enjoys building relationships with our patients and educating them in ways to maintain their dental health. She and her husband, John, live in Powhatan with their two boys and two lovable dogs, Lucy and Chopper. When not chasing after her family and her dogs, Amy enjoys quiet time spent at the beach.
A graduate of Old Dominion University with her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene, Cindy has been practicing the art of dental hygiene for 37 years. Cindy loves building relationships with her patients and their families and helping them maintain their dental health.
A proud mother of three children, she is the even prouder grandmother of her new grandchild. In addition to becoming a baby-sitter extraordinaire, Cindy is an ambitious cook and possesses the wonderful gift of hospitality which she shares with her family, friends, and (lucky us!) co-workers. Cindy and her husband, Bill, are long standing members of Sycamore Presbyterian Church where Cindy teaches Sunday school.
Emily, another of our dedicated professionals, joined our team in 2017. She is a Registered Dental Hygienist who earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Longwood College and went on to get her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Virginia Commonwealth University. Her goal is to help her patients get and stay healthy through good oral health and can easily educate her patients on how to accomplish that. She is a member of both the American Dental Hygiene Association and the Virginia Dental Hygiene Association.
Emily and her husband, Robby, are the parents of two teenagers and they collectively indulge the whims of their cockapoo, Cinderella (a.k.a. Cinders). A movie afficionado, Emily also enjoys swimming, reading and spending time with her family.
Growing up as an Army brat, Meagan came to us by way of Tennessee where she pursued her education in dentistry. After her marriage to her husband, Eli, she moved to Virginia and brought her considerable skills to our team as a Dental Assistant. Whether showing off her latest hair color or telling corny jokes, Meagans joy is to make people smile and she wants to help everyone have a smile that they can show off.
Meagan lives in Chesterfield along with a chocolate lab named Boomer and a cat named Olive. When shes not Boomer-proofing the house, she is a talented artist, enjoys hiking (but only in good weather) and singing.
When we say we are a family practice, we arent kidding. Jaymie entered the dental field almost a decade ago when her Aunt Karin asked her to help out in the office just for a little while. Next thing she knew, she was a full-time dental assistant! Her attention to detail means that our sterilization processes run smoothly and if you dont see her doing that, shes in the lab, helping Dr. Mamrick with his lab work.
Although Audra has only been with our office since 2019, she has been in the dental field for almost two decades. She found her passion for dentistry working as a dental assistant while still in high school at Midlothian High School. Following a move to Minnesota, she continued working in dentistry, graduating from Hibbing Community Colleges Dental Assisting Program before finally becoming disenchanted with snow and moving back to Virginia in 2017.
Coming to dentistry from the field of interior design, Leah began working for Dr. Mamrick almost a decade ago gradually moving into the Insurance/Treatment Coordinator position. Her favorite part of her job is helping patients with their scheduling, financial and insurance needs (even if it means spending time on hold with insurance companies.) In 2017, she took on the additional responsibility of designing our office renovation and did a fabulous job! Leah is also a member of the American Association of Dental Office Managers (AADOM).
Karins introduction to dentistry began when she married a dental student. She served as Dr. Mamricks chairside assistant for several years before bringing her expertise in corporate and compensation administration to her current role of Office Manager where she works tirelessly in the background keeping the office running. She is a member of the American Association of Dental Office Managers (AADOM) and is part of AADOMs Dental Spouse Business Network.
