Dr. Ron Shiver began practicing dentistry in 1980 in Valdosta, where he has since been in practice for more than 35 years. The doctorand his team are dedicated to maintaining and improving the dental health of all his patients.
Dr. Shiver is a graduate of Moultrie High School Class of 1972, Valdosta State College Class of 1976, and the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry class of 1980. He has continued his education by graduating fromthe Medical College of Georgias Maxi Course in Implantology, where he obtained more than 360 hours of postgraduate studies in placing implants. Dr. Shiver is also a charter member of Advanced Dental Studies, which was establish in 2009 at the AtlantaInstitute for Advanced Education.
Dr. Shiver is a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, and an active member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, Southwestern District Dental Society, and American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He regularly exceeds the amount of annualcontinuing education required by the Georgia State Board of Dentistry by more than four times the recommended amount. Dr. Shiver and his knowledgeable staff are committed to maintaining the most advanced and up-to-date methods for treating their patients.

The front desk staff were so accommodating to my needs. They were able to get me in the same day after I had been experiencing immense tooth pain. They were even able to schedule me the next day! I highly recommend this office if you're looking for excellent customer service and quality care.

I love this place my husband and I both go here and have both had a good amount of work done. After searching for a Dentist who not only accepted our insurance but were also affordable and friendly we finally found the right place here! From the staff to the Dentist everyone makes u feel welcomed and comfortable!No matter your race or gender you will be welcomed and treated equally and that is something to treasure in these trying times....I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

MAGNIFICENT, MAGNIFICENT, MAGNIFICENT. Entire company made me feel welcome. My daughter go to them and I was having some dental problems. I visited a couple of dentist in my area (moultrie) but I was nervous with all them. Scheduled an appointment with this dentistry yeah I was nerves but with the comfort from not only the dentist but his staff as well immediately got my nerves down. They really truly do care for there patients and COMMUNICATE. Getting two extractions put was the best decision my team that day could have suggested. I love how the dentist and staff talked to me and help me to make the decision about getting the extractions. I'm telling yall it so much I can say from my first time experience that I loved. Let's just say when I get ready to have some more dental work the SHIVERS will be doing it. Thank you guys so much. Update since I had those extractions that fluid buildup in my ears have GONE. YES

If it weren't for the good dentist, I wouldn't of had any procedure done. The staff is rude & lost, which hurt my wallet. Communication is poor. If you have anxiety, they look at you like a deer in the headlights. Btw, it's a learning clinic. So communication & bedside manner is key learning tool!

Horrible bedside manner.. doesn't inform patients of what is to be expected during their visit. Very rude and unprofessional staff, no one knows what's going on and tiptoes around this dentist in fear of being fired. If I could give no stars I would. Much better options elsewhere in valdosta With younger dentist that care and actually inform their patients ahead of time. Good reviews can be bought but professionalism can't.

Dr. Shiver has a very professional staff and has high tech equipment such as lasers and rotary x-rays. He treated my painful root canal that also abscessed. It was so painful due to the pressure. He had to use extra nova cane; it was initially brutal but my quality of life was his main concern. I am so impressed with his overall Dental service.

Dr. Shiver makes going to the dentist a relatively painless experience. I have been a patient for about 3 months, and have had multiple cavities filled, a root canal, and crown. He and his team have done nothing less than excellent work on my mouth. I would not recommend another Dentist in the Valdosta area.
