Dr. Ron Shiver began practicing dentistry in 1980 in Valdosta, where he has since been in practice for more than 35 years. The doctorand his team are dedicated to maintaining and improving the dental health of all his patients.
Dr. Shiver is a graduate of Moultrie High School Class of 1972, Valdosta State College Class of 1976, and the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry class of 1980. He has continued his education by graduating fromthe Medical College of Georgias Maxi Course in Implantology, where he obtained more than 360 hours of postgraduate studies in placing implants. Dr. Shiver is also a charter member of Advanced Dental Studies, which was establish in 2009 at the AtlantaInstitute for Advanced Education.
Dr. Shiver is a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, and an active member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, Southwestern District Dental Society, and American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He regularly exceeds the amount of annualcontinuing education required by the Georgia State Board of Dentistry by more than four times the recommended amount. Dr. Shiver and his knowledgeable staff are committed to maintaining the most advanced and up-to-date methods for treating their patients.
