Dr. Rodrigo Romano is a Board Certified Periodontist who specializes in Periodontal Disease, Dental Implants, Bone Grafts, Gum Recession, Red Gums and Fully Guided Dental Implants. Very astute inthe use of 3D CBCT Analysis.
Miami has been Dr. Romanos home since moving from Mexico in 1985. He currently provides dental treatment for patients from many areas as well as locals fromMiami, South Miami, Pinecrest, Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, Pembroke Pines, Plantation and Davie.
Dr. Romano earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (D.D.S.) at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara (Mexico) then completed an Internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Hospital General de Zapopan, Jalisco.
He continued his postgraduate education in Periodontics and Dental Implants at TUFTS University School of Dental Medicine, where he also received his Masters of Science Degree (A Radiographic Evaluation on the Effects of Dental Root Proximity and Periodontal Disease: A Retrospective), an award at the Bates Day Presentations Distribution of Oral Bacterial Species in the Atheromas and Dental Plaques of Cardiovascular Disease subjects: a Pilot Study and became a Board Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
As a proud member of the American Dental Association (ADA), he stays very active in organized dentistry at the local, state and national level. I don't recall how many years I have been going to see Dr. Romano-I discovered him more than 10 years ago I believe and it is my intention to stay with his practice forever. Lin, Dr. Romano and his entire staff always make you feel like you are a friend of the family. I live in Broward but make the trip to South Miami because they know how to make you feel welcomed and the most important client they have. My teeth have never been better since I started going to Dr. Romano. I follow his advice and I always have great checkups.

Dr. Romano and his staff are the ultimate professionals. Dr. Romano explains procedures very clearly and my experience with him over the past number of years has always been so. He is just a great periodontist. His staff, especially Lynn, is always warm, friendly, cordial, and knowledgeable, and his dental hygienists are always super sensitive to my gag reflex, especially when x-rays are taken. As much as moist of us do not enjoy doctor or dental visits, the Romano-Perio office makes the experience as comfortable and as good an experience as one could hope for.

Because his proficiency, for the second time I have engaged with Dr. Romano to conduct another implant. He is a professional that listens patient concerns and analyze different alternatives for the best. This morning I had the molar tooth removed and at this moment, seven hours after withdrawal, I feel no pain and there was no need for utilizing gauze. The teamwork, Lin and others, are very kind and give you a family environment.

Everyone at Romano Perio is excellent, the hygienist is very thorough and gentle, no waiting and Dr. Romano explained all of my dental concerns in full detail. Lynn at the front is very kind as well. I highly recommend Romano Perio for a great experience!

Dr. Romano and his staff are wonderful. They don't keep you waiting outside and address all your concerns kindly and patiently. Very skilled at their job. There's also Netflix for entertainment while you're in the patient chair.

Great experience. Really wonderful staff. Made me coffee at the consultation. And I watched my favorite TV show with headphones on during the procedure. I might have even dozed off. Even the parking was easy.
