Jen received her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from The Fones School of Dental Hygiene at the University of Bridgeport in 1996, and immediately joined Dr. Romanos team. She has been working here ever since! She is a member of the American Dental Hygienist Association. She loves her American bulldog Lilly, and is a member of PETA, Farm Sanctuary, and the ASPCA. Jen looks forward to her trip to Las Vegas every year!
Tracey started working for Dr. Romano in 2003 as a dental assistant, quickly becoming the Office Manager soon after. She really enjoys talking with the patients when they come in for their visits. Tracey loves her dog Cami. She enjoys traveling everywhere, but especially to the Caribbean.
Jen joined Dr. Romanos team in 2008, and has been a dental assistant for 25 years. She is married and has two adult children. Jen loves attending sporting events with her family and is an avid Yankee fan. She enjoys walking her three German shepherds.
Since 1993 Dr. Romano has provided all phases of general and cosmetic dentistry for adults and children. He was selected as Best of Fairfield County in 2020 and one of Americas Top Dentists from 2017-2020 by the Consumers Research Council of America.

While at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Dr. Romano was awarded a teaching fellowship in both endodontics and complete dentures. He completed a General Practice Residency in 1989 at Danbury Hospital in Advanced General Dentistry with special emphasis in emergency, restorative and surgical dentistry. Treating patients with special needs was another major component of his training. In 2020, he was awarded a Fellowship in Special Care Dentistry by the Special Care Dentistry Association. Dr. Romano also serves as a consultant for the American Dental Associations Commission on Dental Accreditation for general practice residency programs.
Dr. Romano is Vice Chairman of the Department of Dentistry at Danbury Hospital. There he provides direct patient care and supervision of the dental residents. He teaches and lectures the residents on various general dentistry topics, including treatment planning, practice management, emergency care, root canal therapy and restorative dentistry. Dr. Romano served as the Director of the General Dentistry Operating Room Program at Danbury Hospital, where he provided comprehensive dental care to special needs and handicapped adults and children with the assistance of the dental residents. Presently, Dr. Romano is Section Chief of the Department of Dentistry and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Bridgeport Hospital where he provides comprehensive dental care to patients with special needs in the operating room. Caring for patients with special needs remains a passion for Dr. Romano.
Dr. Romano volunteers for the Open Wide Foundation which operates the SPEAR Dental Clinic in Peronia, Guatemala. Dr. Romano has completed many service trips to Peronia where he treats special needs patients in the community. The Open Wide Foundation awarded Dr. Romano an Ambassadorship in 2019 in appreciation of his work with special needs patients in Guatemala. See Photos.
Dr. Romano served as a forensic dentist for DMORT (Disaster Mortuary Operational Response Team), a federal government disaster response team, which helps identify victims of natural or other disasters.

Dr Romano and staff are so patient and kind. I bring my mom who is in late stage Alzheimer's disease and they are so good with her. He is able to look in her mouth and do what he can for her. I highly recommend this office for your dental needs!

This is a review for the work that Dr. Romano performed on my mother, since she doesn't have a Google account. He helped her remedy a failed implant, and he even called the dentist in Arizona who performed the failed implant to get her a refund on this procedure. Now that's going the extra mile!

Best dentist ever with great staff. Take my son to him and going to make him my dentist too. Professional, knowledgeable, patient. I usually only take time to post negative reviews on things. But Dr. Romano and his staff deserve recognition. Excellent model for his profession

Been going to Dr Romano for over 25 years now and have no desire to change. Excellent care by Dr. Romano. Jenny is efficient and pleasant to do my teeth cleaning and Tracy the receptionist is always friendly and helpful.

Called first had all my x-rays sent over from another dentist. To my dismay when I got there they told me all my x-rays arrived but they needed more x-rays. The Doctor spent some time going over x-rays and a plan to fix broken tooth then I was charge $350.00 for a single visit. Buyer beware make sure to ask how much x-rays and a consultation is be for this greedy, condescending Doctor with zero personality swindles you out of your hard earned cash. I was not going to leave a review and let it slide but this guy is so pompous they sent me another email and asked me to rate them so here it is. I was impressed by all the good google reviews but after the visit my mind changed the moment Mr. Beverly Hills walked in the room and then at the cash register. BTW I did expect to pay something for the visit even though I've been to other dentists that do offer a free consultation but this guy? Watch your wallet. Way over priced for a dentist practicing in Bridgeport who thinks he is in Greenwich.

Everyone in Dr.Romano's office is so friendly. I have extreme anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist and I've been to so many in the area and this practice helps me get through any treatment that I need with ease. I highly recommend this wonderful practice.
