Larry Dougherty DDS, together with his wife Dr.Ana Paula Ferraz-Dougherty, make up our team of San Antonio dentists at Rolling Oaks Dental. Ana grew up in Columbus, GA and was Valedictorian of his high school class as well as an Eagle Scout. In his free time, Dr. Dougherty enjoys playing guitar and cycling.
Dr. Dougherty earned his Bachelor of Science in Genetics from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. Dr. Dougherty earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He was an adjunct faculty member at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School in the Department of Comprehensive Dentistry for two years.
Dr. Ana Paula Ferraz-Dougherty, together with her husband Dr. Larry Dougherty, make the team of San Antonio Dentists at Rolling Oaks Dental. She was born in Brazil and raised in Miami, Florida. She was inspired by her own dentist as a child and became interested in the dental field. In her free time, Dr. Ferraz-Dougherty enjoys practicing yoga, teaching yoga, traveling, and raising her child.
Dr. Ferraz-Dougherty received her Bachelor of Science in Health Science from the University of Miami. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Dr. Nitin Raju, DDS, MD was born in India and grew up in Oklahoma and Saudi Arabia. He completed his degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin Madison and obtained his Doctorate in Dental Surgery at the University of Michigan. Following dental school, he completed a six-year residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. During his residency, he received a medical degree. In his time away from work he enjoys backpacking, bicycling and photography.

This is the best dental experince ever ! I had my xrays done by jennifer and cleaning done by keiko and they both are awesome !! The whole team is amazing and friendly. I love this place !

I know most people don't like going to the dentist, but I love coming here! Everyone is friendly and Dr. D makes it a great experience. He's knowledgeable, compassionate, and explains everything so well.

I have been seen by both Dr. Anna and Dr. Larry for over 5 years they have both made my experience's the best. I use to hate going to the dentist because of a childhood terrible experience so you know the story from there but once I met these wonderful gentle dentist it changed my mouth. I never have had an office staff so nice a caring and kind as what they have here at Rolling Oaks and don't let me forget the dental hygienist and assistants they are top notch. Is it bad to say I love going to Rolling Oaks Dental.

Today was my first visit to Rolling Oaks Dental, and my first dental appointment in a very long time. Everything was great from front desk staff, clean facilities, and my dentist spoke clearly and explained things patiently. That was all great, but the reason for me leaving a 5 star review was because of my dental hygienist Keiko, she was Fantastic! She had a gentle touch, we had great dialogue, and she took great care to not inflict any pain while cleaning my chompers. I will definitely be asking for her again in the future!

Dr. Daugherty has a kind presence. He seems knowledgeable and confident. His staff is very friendly. The office is lovely, clean and I even got to watch the birds during a procedure from the giant windows in each room.

Who knew going to get your teeth cleaned and a check up would be a good experience. The entire staff at Rolling Oaks Dental is awesome and I can't say enough good things about everyone there. The professionalism and attention to detail is top notch. I'd recommend to anybody reading this and is looking for a dentist should pay Rolling Oaks Dental a visit. You won't be disappointed.

Great atmosphere. Every time I have an appointment Rolling Oaks reaches out to make sure I can make it. They adjust their schedule to mine anytime I need. When I show up they are always ready and great me with high energy. Always welcoming and professional. My family is also taken of when it is their time for cleaning. Rolling oaks dental has been there for me since 2018. I really enjoy my visits there. They are welcoming, have a cozy and shic environment! Rolling oaks dental is more than a practice, it's a passion! I can't see myself going anywhere else, they understand hospitality and comfort and walking out the door I know I've been treated respectfully and with heart. Went in with some too the pain. Worked with Ana, Nicole and Dr Dougherty. Office was super clean and new. Everyone was really helpful and friendly. Got a good plan of how to take care of my teeth.

I have been looking for a dentist to do a procedure and this dentist actually saw what was happening and said I didn't need it. He gave me a few options and said I could go home and think about it. I have never had a dentist say that. They were very professional and thorough all the way through. It was great service and I recommend this dentist.
