This is one of the best Dental offices in Surprise. They are very nice, informative, and patient with people. If you are nervous or scared of a Dentist, Dr. Nick Rolfe is the one for you. He is great!

It's very hard to find a place these days where you can appreciate all staff. The receptionists are very kind and helpful. The hygienists are super friendly and accommodating. The dentist is very professional and trustworthy. I drive an hour to Rolfe dentistry for a reason.

My experience is just like the one below. They are all very nice and friendly but you will more than likely receive a bill sometime later and it will be very hard to discern by that time what wasn't covered or why there is a charge. I have had that experience more than once. Dr Nick is a great dentist and every procedure I have had done has been very good and done very professionally. Now the uncomfortable part.....I went back to regular dental visits in 2018 after finally biting the bullet and having a major bridge put in. As I hadn't been to the dentist on a regular basis for years, Dr Nick wanted to have a more thorough cleaning done and in 2018 I had 4 visits of a more thorough cleaning done to get my teeth back up to speed so to speak. Since that time I have always had dual dental insurance. My wife recently changed jobs and when I went in today I only had my insurance, but as it was a cleaning and I get 2 free cleanings a year I didn't expect to have to pay anything. I was surprised when I was told I had a balance to pay and expected it to be from months ago like I have experienced before. I was told it was for the cleaning done today??? Then they had the Michelle, the dental hygienist come in to explain that I have gum disease, bone loss and that she has had to do deep cleanings on me. This was all news to me as I have never been diagnosed with any gum problems. My gums have always been good, but my teeth have been bad. My wife on the other hand has had significant gum disease, bone loss and has had to have deep scaling done. I suggested to Michelle that perhaps they had the records switched around as I have never been told about gum loss before and the cleanings I have had since my bridge have always been the same and nothing seemed to be any different from any normal cleaning. The four deep cleanings done in 2018 were exactly that and took some time to get done - close to an hour. She defended her position and assured me that she has done a more thorough cleaning each time she has cleaned my teeth since 2018. I paid the amount due as I needed to get to work, but left there feeling like I had been taken advantage of. A typical cleaning for me before and after my bridge has always been about 30 minutes, if it was such a more thorough cleaning than a normal one, wouldn't you expect it to take longer???? All this has made me reconsider my next appointment as the only reason I found out about this was that they didn't have a second insurance carrier to pay the difference. Took years to find a dentist I could trust, and this was very disappointing for me.

Everyone at almost every dental and medical office I have ever gone to has always been super nice. Here too, is no exception. But here also, just as most other dental and medical facilities, you receive a significant bill months after your visit or when you return for a follow-up. After checking and receiving authorization and approval with my 3 dental insurances I was assured of no co-pays or deductibles for my procedure. This I was told was because of my "excellent coverage" and my appointment was set. But, of course, 11 months later the, "they didn't cover it all" bill comes due in the mail. Don"t get me wrong, they do provide good dental care and everyone really is very nice, but aren't they almost all at every office you visit? Dentistry and healthcare in general is a money racket and I should know I have been an RN for almost 40 years. After your in the chair its about getting every dollar possible from you, the insurance companies and anyone else they can. This office is no different than most in that regard no matter what they tell you prior to taking that seat.

I Had a small dental emergency right before Thanksgiving. Dr. Rolfe squeezed me in and helped me out. Very professional/courteous staff. Seems like a great place to get your dentistry done. Highly recommend

They are fantastic! Our previous dentist said my 9 year old needed 6 crowns and 3 fillings. I was shocked since he had no issues 6 months ago at his last cleaning. We went to Rolfe for a second opinion. He ended up having MUCH LESS work done. After his appointment, he grabbed a couple of business cards. On the way to school, he told me he was going to pass them out to his friends cause "This dentist is the best!" I am very impressed with them. My entire family is switching over.

First time at this office. Everyone is so friendly! My hygienist was so thorough, considerate, and never got irritated with my million questions! She's expecting her baby soon, I can't imagine how much her back must've been hurting, but she never complained, didn't skip corners on my visit, and had a smile (I assume) on her face the whole time! Dr. Montgomery was very friendly and wonderful to work with as well! My interaction with him wasn't very long, as my appointment was just for a cleaning, but I feel confident and comfortable coming back to have him work on my teeth. Fantastic office! :) Thank you!

Totally concerned about patient welfare, Dr. Nick would check on my medical situation before he felt it would be safe to do any dental work. I've never had a better cleaning than with Lucinda. Ladies in reception know what they are doing!!

Our family has been coming to Rolfes for years. We always have a good experience. The hygentist have been there for a long time and the office staff are friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this office.
