Dr. Curtis Rohrer is a native of Minnesota and a 1959 graduate from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He served two years in the Dental Corps of the U.S. Air Force at Ellsworth AFB in Rapid City, South Dakota.

In 1961, he joined the Winona practice of his father, Dr. Clayton Rohrer. In 1976, he completed certification requirements as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. In 1977, Dr. Rohrer was awarded the status of Fellow of the American College of Dentists.

In addition to the Winona practice, Dr. Rohrer volunteers as an ethics mentor for senior dental students at the University of Minnesota as part of his commitment to the American College of Dentists, and as a part-time Clinical Instructor within the Department of Orthodontics University of Colorado, Denver. He also does volunteer work with Rotary International.

Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. We stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending annual meetings hosted by the Minnesota Dental Association, the Southeast Minnesota Dental Society and the Minnesota Association of Orthodontists. Each member of our treatment team is a registered assistant, and our office staff has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care.

All of our staff are certified in CPR. Our staff enjoys working with great people, helping patients have the best smile possible, seeing the beautiful smiles and happiness on patients faces as they get their braces off, getting to know the patients and their families, and sharing in their smile-making process!

If your insurance covers orthodontic treatment, you will receive the benefit of reduced personal costs. Many insurance policies have a lifetime orthodontic benefit that is distinct from regular dental insurance. Insurance policies vary, so we will review your insurance to determine the appropriate course of action. Once treatment has started, we will file your claims.

Please remember that orthodontic insurance is a benefit for you or your child. If, during the course of treatment, your benefits change, the financially responsible party is accountable for all charges.
