The most unethical medical professional in town. Very sneaky billing practices too, she waits until you are strapped and dressed for a procedure then hands you a clipboard with an outrageous bill to sign. I am disgusted by her lack of professionalism and accountability. Not to mention my tooth cracked after a procedure with her. She is a perfect example of why people do not trust dentist.

I have recently had proceedures done on my teeth with Dr. Fernandes. I had wear on my bottom rear molars and she filled them very well and was attentive to my comfort and with how my teeth laid on themselves after the procedure to make sure I was satisfied.

Im sad to say I have been going to Rohini Fernandes to get my teeth cleaned every week for the last 2 years, every six months. I went in a couple months back to get a routine teeth cleaning when Dr. Fernandes recommended I get an X ray where she discovered I had cavity. When i came in for the procedure I was under the impression that i would be getting 1 filling. After being under operating table she told said I had 2 more cavities and continued to perform more work on my mouth with out my consent. To be honest Im not sure if there were actually 2 more cavities or not. I question the integrity of both Dr. Fernandes and her staffed assistant. After giving a co-pay at the day of the procedure i received another bill at my home with out any detail other than how much they charged for the procedure and the difference I owed. I called the assistant to discuss the bill and she was very disrespectful and even called me names. This practice lacks transparency and Integrity, If you like over priced painful visits to the dentist, be my guest

Dr Fernandes saved my right lower molar tooth--still good 14 yrs later !! I went there ,after the first Dentist wanted to extract the tooth, as it was cracked deep, and then start plans for an implant procedure. The pain was severe, and Dr F told me she could try and save the root, but with a small chance of success, but am so glad I went with that. A root canal, that went well, and relieved the pain, then a few weeks later a cap/crown--that has stayed on perfectly all these years!! It will be hard to find a more caring and steady handed Dentist!!

Aside from discovering that I had a cracked molar in my bottom left tooth, I thought that I had hit the jackpot with a new dentist, Dr. Rohini Fernandes. Both her and her Dental Assistant seemed very nice and knowledgeable. So coming back to either get a root canal or my tooth removed seemed like no big deal. Until the very next visit , which ended up being the most horrific day of my life, when I discovered she did not know how to remove a tooth. I knew there would be pain from the needles, but not from the extraction process once I was numb, maybe a little pain. However that complete numbness never actually happened and I expressed that to her repeatedly while she drilled and hacked at my molar trying to remove it. I laid there for 2 hours sobbing loudly and shaking from the severe pain she inflicted upon me over and over again, while she kept insisting that it was only the pressure. At one point she even said lets take a break because I was crying, screaming and shaking so badly. After several more tries, she finally stopped claiming she couldn't finish because I couldn't take it. Then professed that it was a hot tooth and that's why it wouldn't get completely numb. Then and only then did she arrange an oral surgeon to remove it. After arriving at the oral surgeons office and learning that I would not be put to sleep for the extraction I began crying and shaking fearing I was in for more of the same horrific pain, but to the contrary the Oral Surgeon took all of ten minutes to expertly remove the remains of that tooth with no pain whats so ever, aside from the needle injections of novocaine. The tooth was out before I realized he was already stitching me up. The Oral Surgeon told me before and after that 1. Dr. Rohini Fernandes made a mess of that tooth with the drilling, 2. that she should have stopped immediately when I first told her I still felt the pain, that no dentist should ever keep working on a patient if they feel pain 3. that when you have a hot tooth like that, you need to be experienced and know how to get that tooth numb and finally she should have referred me to an oral surgeon right away, since she knew it was a problem. In closing I suffered for 2 hours for nothing, but to add insult to injuring Dr. Fernandes kept insisting it was only pressure I was feeling and not really pain, even though she confessed that it was a hot tooth, so she knew the truth that I was not getting numb. She showed me no real empathy, that only came from her Dental Assistant, who tried to comfort me, but she also said nothing to her about stopping . After I was home trying to recover from the trauma, the dental assistant called me and I told her what the oral surgeon said and all she could be after that was defensive with no real apology from either her or Dr. Fernandes. I will never ever return to her office nor will I ever recommend this dentist to anyone, unless you enjoy pain.

My 12 yr old son and I have been going to Dr Fernandes for years and have always received the highest quality in care with a smile. My son actually looks forward to his 6 month cleanings and marks them on his calendar. I would recommend her to anyone looking for dental care.
