Ive always wanted to be thought of not only as an excellent dentist, but also a compassionate and kind person. I want my patients to feel my care and concern for them.I truly want each to know that he or sheisimportant to meas a person, and I want only good things for everyoneand their life.
I enjoy getting to know my patients on a personal level:learning about their history, lives, interests, families, and professions. I learn so much from each person and every conversation. Those exchanges broaden my world, increase my appreciation for the diversity of our community, and I think make me a better dentist and better human.
The long-term relationships that have grown with my patients are important to me. Im honored to care for many family members from multiple generations, as well as their friends and extended family, and am humbled by the trust they place in me.
My father was a dentist. By the time I was seven, I knew I wanted to be a dentist, too. I was fortunate to work with my father in our practice for five yearsbefore he passed away. Every day I strive to strengthen his legacy by helping others solve their dental concerns through gentle, personalized care.
Each year, I take numerous continuing education courses in order to stay current on new techniques, materials, and technology. Its essential for me tobeable to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of each in order to determine if theyre the best options for my patients.
Im an active member of the San Gabriel Valley Dental Society, California Dental Association, and American Dental Association. These organizations enableme tointeract with and learn from my peers on a regular basis, along with leading researchers and practitioners.
I grew up in Pasadena and now live in La Caada Flintridge. My wife Lisa and I have been married for more than 35 years. We have five children, four of whom are married, and nine grandchildren. Our youngest child is currently in college. We also have two standard Poodles, Ruby and Milo, who love to go hiking with us.
When Im not working, you might find me out cruising in my 1964 Mustang convertible or trying to improve my recently acquired golf game. I also enjoy watching the Dodgers and Lakers, movies, hiking the trails and hills of the SGV, and visiting with family.
Im a 30+ year volunteer for the Pasadena Tournament of Roses and have been a volunteer dentist for the Young and Healthy program. Additionally, Ive served as a Scoutmaster three times for Boy Scouts of America and am an Eagle Scoutmyself. Im also a director for the La Caada Flintridge Educational Foundation and an active member and volunteer in my church.
I am a peopleperson and enjoy working one-to-one with patientsas they improve their oral health. Its important for a person to understandthe role dental hygiene plays in overall wellness and how to keep themouth clean and healthy. I take X-rays, screen for periodontal and other oral health issues, and clean teeth. While Im working with a person, I provide education and encouragement: seeing a clean, healthy smile at a recall visit makes my day!
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, especially my new spouse (we were married in April 2017) and my adult daughter. We enjoy camping, kayaking, hiking, and going to the beach. I also like escaping into a good book.
I love the relationships Ive built with my patients over the years. Its a great feeling to help my friends achieve a beautiful smile and improve their dental health. We have an amazing team, and Dr. Andersonisboth skilled and gentle. Were like a big family and our patients are part of that! I provide a range of dental hygiene and preventive care, to ensurehealthy smiles. I also educate and encourage my patients to develop positive habits and good home dental hygiene routines.
My husband Chris and I have three children: daughter Cosette and young twin sons, Collin and Conner. We love to travel and enjoy the great outdoors, especially camping, hiking, and going to the beach. Iman active volunteer in my childrens school, co-leader of Cosettes Girl Scout Troop, and I teach parttime at a dental hygiene school.
I am happiest when connecting with people and building relationships with them. Taking care of ones dental health is important, because what happens in the mouth affects the body and vice versa. I want people to understand those connections and become proactive in caring for their smile! I take X-rays, measure periodontal pockets, and gently clean teeth, as well as offer supportive periodontal therapy.
Much of my free time is spent with my spouse and daughter. I enjoy being active to stay healthy, and balancing that with relaxing. I love cooking, too. I volunteer at the Kids Community Dental Clinic in Burbank, where Iprovideoral health education and helpwith outreach activities. Im also currently writing several childrens books about oral health, nutrition, and exercise.
The best part of my day is helping patients have a positive experience. Starting with the fist time they call our office, to when they arrive for their first visit. A beautiful smile makes such a difference in how a person feels, and the confidence they have. It is rewarding to be a part of that transformation.

Ive been married for almost 20 years and have six children. As you might imagine, they keep my husband and me very busy! If were not at home, were likely at the baseball field, where my husband is the president of our local Little League and I run the snack bar. In the free time I can find, I enjoy reading and sewing baby blankets.

Im an L.A. native and love my city! In my spare time, I love being with my daughterLeah and husbandJoe. I like cooking for them and we enjoy going on little weekend getaways. Im also very involved in Leahs Folklorico dance group, Nuestra Herencia.

I'm so pleased with Dr. Roger Anderson and his office. I needed my old two front teeth caps replaced. After 32 years they looked bad and had damage. Dr. Anderson's skillful work resulted in two beautiful new capped front teeth. They look gorgeous, fit perfectly, and it was a pleasure to be taken care of by Dr. Anderson and all his staff. It's not easy to go through this process, and I had worried that something could go wrong (fit, color, appearance), but all was perfect. Excellent process and I'm a thrilled client.

My experience with Dr. Anderson and his staff is that they are welcoming, patient, and attentive. The waiting area in their Glendale office is pleasant and well kept. Being in Los Angeles all my life, I really appreciate that this office has its own parking lot so there is no need to be driving around looking for street parking! That's a big plus, for sure.

The best dentist, by far. I have experience with few, and have been lucky, but struck gold with Dr. Anderson. Not only is he an excellent, skilled, highly professional and experienced Doctor, he also has an excellent bedside manner, does not oversell on services, identifies and treats with an ease and grace, and truly truly cares! It's rare to have a doctor call next day to ask how you are doing. My procedure was done without numbing, per my request. Doctor was honest about level of pain I should expect and gave me options. Checked in at every step of procedure and read my body language very well! I can't believe that I had virtually no pain during and after!!! His office and staff are organized, have great time management, you are taken in right away for your appointment. All fees are easy to understand and are explained ahead of time, and at time you pay. Receipts provided. It's just such a smooth, efficient process and pleasant office and atmosphere. Several days out and I am pain free and extremely happy with the outcome! Thank you, Dr. Anderson and wonderful staff!!!

Dr. Anderson is everything you want in a dentist, capable, knowledgeable, kind, and he uses up to-date-technology to help diagnose and fix problems.The vibe as you enter this practice is modern yet has a retro-chic feel, it instantly puts me at ease. Sarah is the best hygienist I've ever been to, she is patient and kind. Would definitely recommend this practice.

I rarely write reviews, but Dr Roger Anderson and his team exceeded all my expectation. They were able to get me in at a short notice. Everything from paperwork to insurance processing to the actual procedure went really smooth. I can't thank Dr. Anderson enough for his caring service, utmost patience and professionalism. I finally found a dentist in our community that I can trust and refer friends and family to. Highly recommend.

I have needed a lot of dental work over the years, and I have had excellent results with Dr Anderson. He never seems rushed, is always kind and patient, and explains things very well. He does not try to sell me dentistry I do not need, so I know I can always trust him. His staff is enthusiastic and so helpful. Everyone in the office seems to love their jobs. I have referred a number of friends and family members here, and they all are very happy. Plus, I gets $50 credit for each person I refer! Such a good idea! The decor is fun, too!

It is a place where they do a very good job. I had a cavity and it feels weird after but they do an awesome job. They're the best tooth care ever. Im a kid and it didn't hurt to much/8-9years I highly recommend it.

I've been with Dr. Anderson for 16 years, since at the San Marino office. Both his staff and himself are kind, knowledgeable and just top notch in everything that they do. Both my husband and I have had to get a lot of work done on our teeth and Dr. Anderson is always there to guide us through the best possible treatment plan. I'm so grateful to have found the best dentist and am so appreciative of all that Dr. and his staff have done for us (and continue to do so!).

If you are looking for a trusted dentist that really knows what he is doing- I highly recommend Dr. Roger Anderson . I went in to replace 3 crowns. The procedure was done painlessly, professional and well done. Dr. Anderson and his dental assistant were amazing and the office is super clean and I will never stop going there. 5 stars for me!

I am a new patient of Dr. Anderson's. I'm very happy with the results of all my procedures from cleaning to bleaching, filling a cavity and even having my crown replaced. Great service. Very professional. Dentist was very patient and use of technology to show you the work done, very detailed. I also got a call back after my appointment, great personal touch. Highly recommend it. The team was nice, however they did not disclose if my insurance was "in-network" and my deductible keep getting larger and larger. Do you homework and ask these questions prior as to not get surprised amount due.

I've been going here for years, because the people here are consistently friendly and helpful. Many years ago, Dr Anderson started using super hygienic protocols, and they've taken it to a new level since the pandemic began. It fits with their high care factor. I feel safe visiting them!

10 stars!!!! I had an absolutely amazing experience today at Dr. Anderson's office and had to pop on here to write about it. My husband and I moved to a new neighborhood and have been looking for a new dentist. Since there are so many, it's hard to narrow down where to go. I had driven by Dr. Anderson's office a few times and finally decided to check out the Yelp reviews - I have to say, I was impressed by them. Today was my first appointment and my first impression of the office was that it is spotless. It's beautiful on the inside and the chairs are properly spaced out and masks are required. There is hand sanitizer available and the environment feels very safe in a COVID world. The front desk receptionist was absolutely lovely and it was an easy check in (since you are able to do all the paperwork electronically ahead of time) which was also a major plus. The office runs on time which was also a pleasant surprise and I was brought back to meet my hygienist, Joyce, who was also just an absolute rock star. She was very helpful, kind, and completely made me feel at ease. She also did a very thorough cleaning despite the fact that I hadn't had my teeth cleaned since pre-COVID. I will absolutely be seeing her again, in fact, I already made my next appointment. Dr. Anderson and his assistant were both amazing. Any nerves I had were immediately calmed and I felt like I was in excellent hands. We went over my X-rays and I felt like he was extremely genuine and honest - two things that are SO important when it comes to dentistry. This office has definitely won me over and I'm looking forward to my next visit in 6 months!

The staff is awesome: they are friendly and helpful. The hygenist is excellent as is Dr. Anderson. I've been a patient since 2016 and I've been happy with the dentistry care received. Dr. Anderson has done several crowns for me and they are beautiful! My bite hasn't been this good for most of my adult yrs.

Every time I come here I receive the best possible service. I love how friendly and professional the staff is. Dr. Anderson is so caring and patient. The personal follow-up calls he does make me feel so happy that there are experts like him who do their work out of love and devotion. I'd put 10 stars if I could.
