Dr. Humphreys earned his doctorate from the University of Nebraskas College of Dentistry and has been practicing dentistry since 1989. A lifelong learner, he stays on top of the latest techniques by enrolling in continuing education courses. He has completed training in cosmetic dentistry and advanced dental procedures, such as restoring implants. Ongoing education makes it possible for me to offer patients complete care and exceed their expectations, says Dr. Humphreys.
As a dentist in Colorado Springs, Dr. Humphreys has always been passionate about improving the health of others and using his artistic talents and hands to reshape smiles. Nothing compares to seeing the dramatic change that happens after a person sees their new smile. Its rewarding to help people feel better about themselves, he says. Dr. Humphreys particularly enjoys enhancing the appearance of smiles with cosmetic dentistry, including using Zoom teeth whitening and veneers.
Dr. Humphreys is married to Cindy, who he met while playing a game of volleyball. They have two dogs a Shih Tzu poodle mix and a Lhasa Apso. When hes not working with patients to give them their best smiles ever, Dr. Humphreys makes time for golfing, going to concerts (hes a big Eagles fan!), and traveling to places like Brazil, Honduras, and Alaska. Something you may not know about Dr. Humphreys hes an excellent poker player and a smooth Elvis impersonator.

It had been actual years since I'd been to a dentist, and originally only came in from tooth pain, but the staff were all extremely friendly and warm, as well as having a very welcoming and accommodating lobby. Definitely got rid of any worries or concerns about going to the dentist!

Dr Humphreys is highly professional and a perfectionist. We have had a lot of work done and have been so happy with the results. The staff is friendly and caring. The office provides a warm, family atmosphere. SO thankful for Dr Humphreys.

What a great dental experience! It's like going to see friends that just happen to work on your teeth! They all made me feel so welcome and cared for. I had just had a bad experience with another dentist so I was nervous but every single person at this office was just wonderful and calmed my nerves. And then I met Dr Humphreys...he clearly leads by example! His energy was kind, calm and patient. You really can't ask for more from a dentist and their staff. What a joy! Words I never thought I'd hear myself say about a dental appointment! Highly, highly recommended.

Wow. That's the best word to describe my experience with this dental office. They are such an amazing staff from the people up front to the people in the back. They work as a unit and you can tell they all support each other. It's super rare for me to just feel comfortable in new places and this office just made me feel like that is right where I needed to be. I'm actually so excited about starting my journey to better oral care and I know I found a home to take me through this journey.
