Dr. Green attended Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois and graduated from Northwestern Dental School in Chicago, Illinois, with a D.D.S. Degree. He also served as a dentist in the United States Air force. Being one of the original associate members of the Academy of Geriatric Dentistry, this interest led him to open a practice in the Sun City area. He has practiced dentistry in the Sun Cities for more than thirty years.
Other memberships include the American Dental Association, the Arizona Dental Association, the Central Arizona Dental Society, The Academy of General Dentistry and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and numerous other dental study clubs and affiliates. He is also a graduate of the restorative program of the Misch Institute, the leading teaching institute of dental implants in the world.
In Dr. Greens words, My philosophy of dentistry is enclosed in my mission statement with a firm belief in preventive dentistry. There are many options to prevent and correct dental disease. I believe in a thorough explanation of any dental problems and of various treatment options suitable to the individual patient. The best dentistry is preventive dentistry. This means we strive to stop problems before they start, or at least, minimize the need for extensive and/or expensive treatment.
On a personal note, Roger grew up in Joliet, Illinois. His wife, Joan, is from Dubuque, Iowa, graduated from Marquette University. Roger and Joan are residents of Sun City West and have two adult children and two grandchildren who live in the Phoenix area.
Dr. Galarraga grew up in Quito, Ecuador, a beautiful country in South America. He later moved to Barcelona, Spain, where he received his masters degree in Dental Implants and Oral Rehabilitation. A lifelong learner, he went on to complete several courses and training in Endodontics, Periodontics, and Occlusion. A fun fact about him: he is bilingual (fluent in Spanish) and enjoys being able to communicate fluently with his patients.
In 2007, Dr. Galarraga moved to Minnesota and obtained his dental license in 2010. He worked there for 14 years before pursuing warmer weather in Arizona that would also bring him closer to his loved ones. Since his arrival, he has been enjoying what Arizonans enjoy:nice weather, outdoor activities, adventure, and a great selection of restaurants (his favorite foods are Indian, Japanese, Ecuadorian and Spanish).
Outside of work Dr. Galarraga enjoys discovering the world around him and has thus ensured his favorite activities align with this. He can be found reading, singing, playing piano, swimming, hiking & climbing, and not to mention gardening! Lately he has been exploring various off-road trails in his Jeep. Warm and welcoming, Dr. Galarragas chairside manner is one you are sure to enjoy.

Para el Dr. Emilio Galarraga sera un enorme placer y un honor poder dar la bienvenida a la comunidad hispana en su lengua materna y poder cubrir las necesidades de salud oral de una manera amable y honesta.
Para el Dr. Galarraga la odontologa es una vocacin de servicio, mirando a cada paciente como un ser humano integral y proveyendo a cada uno de ellos con tratamientos de calidad que con mucha seguridad ser de su agrado por su toque humano y profesional.
Despus de recibir su Ttulo de Maestra en Implantes y Rehabilitacin Oral en la ciudad de Barcelona, Espaa, el Dr. Galarraga decide migrar a los Estados Unidos donde estudi ingls y empez a revalidar su titulacin como dentista, sueo que con el tiempo se hizo realidad. Se mud a Minnesota donde sirvi a la comunidad ms necesitada desde el ao 2010 hasta el 2021, ao en el cual decidi mudarse a un lugar de un clima ms agradable, as es como lleg a nuestro querido estado de Arizona donde disfruta sus das en compaa de su novia y amiga.
