For more than 30 years, its been my pleasure to help others through a profession that boosted their health and emotional well-being.
In our practice, I am the only orthodontist. This allows me to get to know each patient and also to be able to follow each patient's treatment closely allowing for the most predictable and efficient outcomes.
In the years I have been seeing patients, I have had the honor to meet and care for many amazing people. I appreciate having the time to get to know each patient on a personal level during thetreatment experience. Our conversations, whether theyre telling me about their latest after-school activity, sharing a joke, or talking about their weekend plans, always delight me.
Originally from Philadelphia, Ive lived in Fletcherfor 25 years. When Im not seeing patients, Im usually spending time with my wife, four children, daughter-in-law, and grandson. Family means everything to me and I treasure our time together.

Almost a decade ago I married the love of my life, Mark. We have a Golden Retriever, Murphy, who is our child. Markand I have amazing families, including two nephews and a niecewe love spoiling! We also love to be outdoors and like mountain biking, hiking, snowboarding, and traveling anywhere and everywhere.
I love the relationships that grow with each patient and their family. We serve an incredible community and have an amazing patient family! Dr. Roeder is a gentle, patient-focused orthodontist. He and our team do everything possible to make sure our patients are supported, educated, and feel valued as they develop a great smile!
I market our practice to the community and love talking with people about the care experience we deliver. Its fun to share how great we really are! I also coordinate all aspects of patient care and am here to answer questions, troubleshoot issues, and make sure everything goes smoothly.
When Im not working, I love music, reading, hiking, and any outdoor activity, and most of all time with my children and spouse. I love volunteering with the Ladies & Meals Ministry at my church and supporting our community.
Its difficult for me to choose what I like best about my work: I love all of it! We have an amazing office, with a doctor and team who are family, and we help incredible people love their smiles. What could be better?!
When Im not at the office, I love time with my family and watching basketball and football. I also like all kinds of craft projects: woodburning, painting, and making wreaths are some of my favorites.
I love working with new patients, hearing their stories, and learning their goals. I love being part of an amazing practice that is a big family, from Dr. Roeder and my teammates to our patients and their families. I love that we make positive changes for each person, all by achieving great smiles!
I work with new patients and their families. During their first visit, we talk about treatment, review options, and I answer all of their questions, including about their treatment plan. Once they start care, I get to watch each persons transformation!
My life is shared with my beautiful Husky mix, Ginger, whos a therapy dog. Outside of work, I love being with her, as well as friends and family. I like crafts, gardening, reading, and watching movies. Im passionate about making time to relax, meditate, and be present to appreciate all the great things I have been blessed with.
I love the time I spend with patients and parents, educating them about their orthodontic needs and options, and ultimately building a relationship with each. My wonderful husband Steve and I have been married for 20 years. We have two precious Miniature Long-Haired Dachshunds named Roxie and Roy. Steve and I enjoy entertaining family and friends and love to travel to beaches and take cruises. I like flower gardening, cooking, and the outdoors, but my priority is always time with loved ones.
I love working with our awesome patients and their families. I get to help solve problems, sometimes take on a bit of detective work, and this helps people get smiles they love! Dr. Roeder and our team make orthodontic treatment a fun experience. Our patients are part of our family!
I handle all aspects of our patients financial arrangements. This includes developing payment plans and contracts, setting up auto drafts, and filing for and monitoring insurance payments. I also oversee our accounts receivable and payable.
My husband and I have been married for nearly three decades. Our son will marry his high-school sweetheart in June 2019, and my family will be blessed to gain a wonderful daughter. Our daughter graduated from high school in June 2018 and is doing awesome in college. Our family is very involved in our church and community. We like helping others.
I love getting to know our patients. They truly become family; its rewarding to help people I care about developing a smile they love! My teammates are my best friends, and Dr. Roeder is attentive to each patients comfort. Our office is full of laughter and smiles and I love it!
My husband Patrick and I have a daughter, Karly, who attends UNC Wilmington. We love going to visit her at the beach, and now that we are empty nesterswe spend all that extra time loving on our dog, Tucker. Patrick and I love traveling, spending time outdoors with family and friends, and church-related activities. We are blessed and try to live life to the fullest!

For example, for patients who require surgery to correct their oral condition, Dr. Roeder works closely with the jaw surgery specialist to facilitate communication and get updates on the patients pre- and post-surgery condition.
