When you visit, our first goal is to establish a feeling of trust. Our job is to listen to you, respect your feelings and concerns, and educate you, rather than judge your decisions. Dr. Leslie and Dr. Barry Miller understand that you may be anxious about the process of receiving dental care; therefore, they make it a point to carefully explain your proposed treatment plan, and they take their time to answer all of your questions. Only then will they take you through your treatment with the utmost of care. Modern dentistry has many techniques, local anesthetics, and relaxation methods to increase your comfort. The more involved you are in making your dental health decisions, the less room there is for fear and uncertainty.
Dr. Barry is from Columbus, OH where he was a double graduate from The Ohio State University with an undergraduate Bachelor of Science in human nutrition and a minor in business. Dr. Barry started with Rocky Top Dentistry out of dental school after graduating in May 2021. He is passionate not only about dentistry, but also about the delivery of outstanding patient care. Dr. Barry is a member of the Second District Dental Society, the Tennessee Dental Association, and the American Dental Society. Dr. Barry is involved with the Volunteer Ministry Services of Knoxville dental clinic. Beyond his passion for dentistry, he is an avid Ohio State sports fan and plays golf.
Dr. Leslie Holmes-Leach is from Anderson County and has been working in the dental profession for over 20 years. She received her B.S. degree in dental hygiene from ETSU and spent ten years working as a hygienist before returning to dental school. Dr. Leslie graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine and followed up with a one year Advanced Education of General Dentistry Residency. During her residency, she received training in the placement of dental implants as well as training with the medically complex, special needs and anxious patients. She is also a Dawson Academy Graduate and a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. She is a true caregiver and enjoys meeting the various dental needs of her patients. Dr. Leslie is passionate about dentistry and is very active in the dental profession. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Tennessee Dental Association, the Second District Dental Society as well as the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Leslie loves sports and spending time on the lake with her husband Mark and daughter MaryJo. She also volunteers with Remote Area Medical, Volunteer Ministry Center and internationally on mission trips.

New to Rocky Top Dentistry, had an emergency and they got me in right away and they participate with my insurance and started a plan to get my problem fixed, new state of the art equipment and clean facility and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

On my initial visit to Rocky Top Dentistry, the front office staff was very friendly, courteous & professional. I had printed intake forms off their website & completed them at home, so check-in was easy and didn't take much time. I was on time and waited about 15 minutes before I was taken back to the exam room. The hygienist, Courtney, was friendly, thorough and gentle. She kept me informed throughout the appointment about what she was doing and the rationale for each step in the process of getting established as a patient (dental routine & care questions, xrays, photographs, descaling, flossing & descaling). Dr. Leslie Holmes-Leach was very professional, with a friendly and pleasant demeanor. Their office is very new and beautiful. The waiting area was spacious, comfortable with lots of light, and various magazines for patients to peruse. I was pleased with my initial visit and look forward to returning for my regular appointments.

So I have been going to Rocky Top Dentistry for a few months now . I had a traumatic experience as a child at a Dentist office in Ky. Cara Kennedy at Rocky Top Dentistry is Amazing! I explained my experience as a child. She has bee THE BEST EVER! I haven't been this caught up with my dental health in years for all my fears. I have and will continue to recommend Rocky Top Dentistry to anyone who ask. The entire staff is Wonderful! The new building is beautiful as well. Best Dental care I've had my entire life. My Hygienist was Courtney. She is newly hired and recently graduated. She handled herself very professionally and was focused on what she was doing during my cleaning. A little slow on the entire cleaning process, due to experience and not having all tools available before the start. The cleaning itself was very thorough and Courtney was meticulous in her examination. A very charismatic personality, she is well on her way to being a top notch hygienist as she gains more experience during her career.
