Dr. Horrocks completed his specialty training in Periodontology in the Department of Medicine and Surgery at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As the founder of Boulder Periodontics, he has a passion for delivering a world-class patient experience with expert clinical care. He is a key opinion leader for Meisinger USA, Dentsply Implants, Mectron Piezosurgery, Hu-Friedy, and Straumann. As a writer, his work has been published in the International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry, he authored a chapter in Piezosurgery Assisted Controlled Ridge Expansion, and also a chapter in Minimally Invasive Dental and Implant Surgery (by Wiley Blackwell). As an educator, he serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor for the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine and lectures around the world on Advanced Piezosurgery and Controlled Assisted Ridge Expansion.
Raised in a traveling military family, Dr. Horrocks graduated high school in Germany and achieved the level of Eagle Scout. He successfully completed the Leadville 100 mountain bike race and also enjoys fly-fishing, skiing, golf, and raising his three teenage boys.

Great staff, service and facility. I went in for a follow-up visit after a dental extraction the week before. Everyone is knowledgeable and helpful and explained the whole dental implant procedure well. I feel very well taken care of here.

Dr. Lewis, Dr. Horrocks and their entire staff treated my elderly Father (US Army Veteran) with incredible professionalism and the upmost dignity and meaningful care. I strongly recommend Rocky Mountain Dental Specialists. My elderly Father was treaded with the highest level of dignity and respect during his follow-up oral dental surgery, evolving the extraction of a large number of infected teeth and placement of implants for secure attachment of future permanent prosthetic dentures.
