Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, Dr. Michael Ontiveros has dedicated his career to helping his patients look, feel and smile their very best for nearly 30 years. From an early age, Dr. Ontiveros knew he wanted to become a dentist. After graduating with a degree in chemistry from Arizona State University, he moved to Colorado and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Colorado Health Science Center. His passion lies in cosmetic and surgical dentistry and he stays up to date with the latest techniques in the industry.
Dr. Ontiveros prides himself in providing his patients with the highest quality dental care while always keeping their best interest at heart. He loves working with families and creating meaningful relationships; he truly takes time to educate and inform his patients so they can make educated decisions. He treats a wide range of dental needs and is also focused on making patients feel comfortable while undergoing dental treatment.

Everyone in this office is TOP NOTCH - from Val, at the front greeting me with energy and kindness, to Dave the dental hygienist who made me comfortable through the exam and was extremely thorough in his evaluation and communication. Dr. Mike was a delight and was very professional. I can't recommend them all enough! If you live in the area this is your spot!

My previous dentist retired and referred me to Dr. Mike. I was very happy with my first visit. Dr. Mike and his staff are excellent. So glad I've found a great new dentist!!

I have been going to Rocky Mtn Dental for over 20 years. Dr. Mike and his entire staff are outstanding! I like the fact the same person (Dave) always cleans my teeth. Never do I have a problem that they don't immediately help my fix or get scheduled. If you need an awesome dentist Dr. Mike is your guy!!

Had an implant that failed and had to be removed. No refund of over $1000.00. And no implant plus endured over a month of unbearable pain during this time. Won't go back.

Great local dental group. Appreciate that they took the time to explain each step in the tooth repair process. The front office was also awesome and made booking an appointment a pleasant and enjoyable experience. Will be back for a cleaning soon.

I've been going to Rocky Mountain Dental for years and would highly recommend! The staff is always friendly and welcoming. They took care of my children (now adults) and made their experience with a dentist enjoyable and each of us are always complimented on our beautiful teeth!

Without going into detail, I was referred to Rocky Mountain Dental from a very trusted source. I came in knowing that I needed a painful and scary procedure. My anxiety and worries melted within minutes of my introduction to the staff. Very professional, friendly, and I felt legitimate care. Absolutely recommend.

I already love going to the Dentist, but this dentistry took my love up a bunch of notches. David made it really fun with his sparkling personality and finesse with dental tools. I've never had such a thorough exam before! I learned new things too! Dr. Mike was very kind and attentive with my silly concerns. Val was so fun to talk with as well. If you like teeth and fun this is the place to be. I can't stop touching my shimmering teeth. Thank you Rocky Mountain Dental, I'll be back.

Had my 6 month checkup. Excellent covid procedures in place. I felt very comfortable in the office. David is very professional in his cleaning of my teeth. He explains any problem area that he finds and what I need to do on my end to take care of my teeth.

I had not been to the dentist in years and had some reservations, who really likes the Dentist Office. The staff here was top notch, put me at ease and did a great job. I even received a call from Dave after my cleaning asking how I was doing. A great group of people. Definitely recommend.

As someone who put off seeing the dentist for way too long because of fear, I can tell you I now go every 6 months because of Dr. Mike and his team. They are kind, caring and take care of their patients like family. I will never go anywhere else and highly recommend Rocky Mountain Dental Group.

My first experience with Rocky Mountain Dental Group was a great one. All of the staff members were extremely friendly. David was very attentive and thorough in his work. I was also comfortable with all the protocols they had in place for preventing the spread of COVID. I'll definitely be coming back!
