Dr. Dhaliwal & his staff have opened this high-tech dental office for the purpose of providing a Family Dental Care Facility. Their philosophy is to provide the best quality dental care, in a warm & friendly environment. Dr. Dhaliwals personality is one of genuine concern for each patient: He is deeply interested in maintaining quality care in addition to embracing & servicing the community.
The office, located in Redwood City, is a premier office that has complete computerization of patient records. The intra-oral camera allows Dr. Dhaliwal to take colored digital photographs of existing dental conditions. It is one of the first & few dental offices to use purified water for patient care, & it provides the best sterilization system that far exceeds the American Dental Association guidelines. The practice provides laser tooth whitening, nitrous oxide sedation, overhead monitors, stereo headphones, convenient office hours and easy access to the office for all patients.
Dr. Dhaliwal graduated from UC Davis in 1990. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Genetics, Psychology & Economics. In 1994 Dr. Dhaliwal graduated from Tufts University in Boston with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. After graduation, Dr. Dhaliwal completed two externships, the first one at New Hampshire Hospital in Concord, NH & the second in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery at Boston City Hospital in Boston, MA. From 1994 to 1997, Dr. Dhaliwal was the Chief Resident at Valley Hospital & the VA Hospital in Fresno, where he practiced Oral Surgery, Periodontal Surgery. Endodontia, Prosthodontia, Pediatric Dentistry, Implants & full mouth rehabilitation. Dr. Dhaliwal has also practiced & taught at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry.
After graduating from dental school in 1999, Dr. Jesse had externships in Cosmetic & Hospital Dentistry at the University of Michigan Dental School & in Restorative Dentistry at UCLA School of Dentistry. Prior to studying at dental school, she was an honors student with a major in biology & chemistry Dr. Jesse has been practicing for over 14 years at her current location. Since she began practicing dentistry, Dr. Jesse has kept up to date on many continuing educational classes, ensuring that her patients receive the most comprehensive & advanced care. She is married with three children & enjoys spending time with her family.
Dr. Miller grew up on the peninsula and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of California Davis. Dr. Miller received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Ohio State University. Among his favorite interests are snowboarding, golf, travel, camping, and hiking.Dr. Miller really enjoys being part of the dental team at Redwood Shores Dental Care.
Dr. Michael Lam, Physician Anesthesiologist I am a board-certified physician & anesthesiologist (Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology 1985, recertification 2009) with over 30 years of experience in a wide variety of practice settings. I attended Occidental College in Los Angeles & graduated with a degree in chemistry. I received my medical degree from Tulane Medical School in New Orleans, Louisiana & completed my medical specialty training in anesthesiology at Stanford University Hospital in Palo Alto. Following my anesthesia residency, I joined the clinical faculty of the Stanford resident training program in anesthesia at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center & trained other doctors to become anesthesiologists before joining the Palo Alto Medical Foundation. With the exception of several years in Southern California where I was recruited to develop anesthesia services for a heart surgery program, I have practiced in the San Francisco Bay Area for years.

The staff was really warm and welcoming the whole visit. Rocky made sure I was comfortable through my whole procedure and checked in with me multiple times, which made me (a gal with a fear of going to the dentist) decide to get a plan with them. 11/10

I've been going to the dentist for decades now and I can honestly say that Dr. Dhaliwal and Dr. Matthew Miller are by far the most caring and pleasant dentists to work on my teeth. Their whole demeanors speaks comfort and professionalism. I don't know of any other dentist who offers his home phone number, for after hours or weekend emergencies. His office staff, Sandra and Daisy are fantastic! If I "Have" to go to the dentist, this is the only place I'll come to. Thanks Dr. Dhaliwal and Dr. Miller and the entire staff at your office. You're all great!

I love this dentist Dr. Rocky and his staff are the absolute best. They take very good care of you very patient and polite. He only do the necessary work not look at your insurance and just being doing stuff cause you have great insurance. I love them all and this is where I recommend all my friends and family. And this is the only place my son will go!!!

I have a fear of dentist's, I've been seeing Dr. Rocky for 4 years. He is very good with being concerned about me being relaxed, and my well being. He does very good work, and always take the extra time to make sure your happy. I highly recommend Dr. Dhaliwal's office.

This doctor has cost me close to $4000 this year. Wrong crown that messed up 2 other crowns and then it came off today. Still suffering from his wrong doing.

If you are self conscious about having taken poor care of your teeth and dental hygiene in the past, and want to make a change, come to Redwood Shores! They are not judgmental, but empathetic. They are also friendly, warm, and informative. It is a calm, no rush atmosphere, where you can take breaks, stop, and discuss your worries and discomforts. The dentist can be scary, and they *know* that here and care about alleviating it as much as possible. I look forward to my yearly cleanings after getting two big sessions of fillings done!

I'm an anxious dental patient, i always get headaches after my appointments. But Dr. Daliwhal's team were very knowledgeable, accommodating, and attentive. I still got a major headache after my appointment but I felt they did their best to be gentle with their tools and did great communication, so to me that's A+

I've taken my 2 year old here for his first appointment and they were so nice and gentle with him, he wasn't even scared to go back. I've had a great experience with all my concerns being addressed and taken care of. The staff was very friendly and caring.
