Welcome to the Rocky Creek Dental family! Rocky Creek Dental Care is a practice built on relationships, and we want to have a relationship with you. Dr. Piccione, Dr. Roth, Dr. Elliott and our team are proud to have been serving friends and neighbors in the Greenville area for decades. Once patients find us, they never want to leave some drive over an hour to see us, and we have several families who have multiple generations within our practice. We think that says a lot about the kind of care you can expect to receive every time you visit!
Dr. Myles Elliott joined our practice in January 2021. He is a Greenville native and a graduate from Riverside High School, Clemson University, and the Medical University of South Carolina. While studying at MUSC, Dr. Elliott served as a legislative liaison for the ADA and SCDA in Washington, D.C. After finishing his degree at MUSC, he practiced in Columbia, SC a few years before he and his wife, Blair, returned to the upstate last year. He is a member fo the SCDA, ADA, and AGD. Dr. Elliotts addition has allowed us to offer more services conveniently within our practice, such as root canal therapy, and extend our office hours to better serve our patients.
Outside the office, Dr. Elliott enjoys travelling with his wife, Blair, a speech pathologist, and spending time with their Boykin Spaniel, Teal. He also loves activities on the lake, hunting and anything related to sports especially if it involves the Clemson Tigers!
Dr. Margaret A. Roth received a Bachelor degree from the College of Charleston, and graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina, College of Dental Medicine. She completed a General Practice residency at Palmetto Richland Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina. She received several awards while in dental school: The Ney Dental Fixed Prosthodontic Achievement Award, The Academy of General Dentistry Award, and the American Academy of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Award. She is a member of the American Dental Association, South Carolina Dental Association, Piedmont Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Roth joined the practice in 2000. Her husband, Jeff, is a Medical Technologist. They have three daughters.
Dr. John R. Piccione received a Bachelor degree from Illinois Benedictine College, and graduated in 1983 from the University of Illinois Dental School. After practicing dentistry in the Chicago area for 10 years, Dr. Piccione began practicing in Greenville in 1993 (his wifes hometown). He is a member of the American Dental Association, South Carolina Dental Association, Piedmont Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He and his wife Kathy have three children.
As a practice we are very grateful to be a part of this community and do everything we can to give back. Starting several years ago, with assistance from our patients, this team began an annual community project to lend support to local causes.Our endeavors have ranged from canned food drives for food shelters to school supplies for the GHS Childrens Hospital.
As one of our team activities, we often choose a community walk or run to help support the many worthy causes in our areas. This spring we are joining Run for Thought to help raise awareness about brain injury research and prevention.
One of our favorite projects to date has been collecting scarves, hats, and gloves with help from our wonderful patients. We usually go out on a cold day and scarf bomb areas where our homeless population frequent. We hang them from poles, trees, and fences with a message attached to Take me if you are cold.

Best dentist office I've ever had! Been coming here for years and even have a great experience when getting a filling . The staff are always friendly and work efficiently. Dr Roth and her staff are the best!!

I am not being dramatic when I say that I have never been to a better dentist's office. I am amazed at how welcoming, authentic, and genuinely concerned with your well-being they are here! Specifically, Dr. Elliot, Misty, and Sandy are true gems. To start, I had a dental emergency late at night and sent them an email to see if I could come in the next morning to have it fixed. They called me back first thing in the morning, and though they originally couldn't see me until later in the day, when I told them that I had class and wouldn't be able to come at that time, they went out of their way to squeeze me in right then and there. They were so kind and compassionate! I went back recently for a routine dental cleaning and I kid you not -- it was the most thorough I've ever had. Their office is clean and in a great location, and their equipment is top of the line; they used this really cool dental scan machine to take 3D impressions of my teeth, so when Dr. Elliot needed to explain things to me, he could literally show me exactly what he was talking about on the scan. They don't try to upsell services here -- they are honest and straightforward, and I honestly feel that that's hard to find with a lot of dentists. My boyfriend is due for a cleaning soon and I told him to run, don't walk, to make an appointment at Rocky Creek! I have 100% found my new dental care home.

Dr. Piccioni and all of his staff are profession, friendly, and do the most exceptional job! I continue to go to Rocky Creek even though my insurance considers this practice out of network! The whole team is outstanding! Thank you, Rocky Creek, for taking such good care of your patients!

I met a number of their new staff and was impressed with the personal introduction, explanation of procedures, detailed answers to all my questions and their guarantee to minimize any pain I may incur. Sounds odd but I did enjoy my appointment at Rocky Creek (my dentist).

I was a patient here for several years, but when I changed employers 10 years ago, they didn't accept my new insurance, so I regretfully had to change providers. I've just returned, and it's like coming home again! Dr. Piccione (whom I really liked) is now semi-retired, but Dr. Elliott was charming, knowledgeable, and reassuring. The front office staff are very personable, and the hygienists actually introduced themselves by name (sadly rare these days), and they were respectful, gentle, and informative. As a patient, comfort and confidence in the provider is key, and I am so glad to be back in these capable hands.
