He enjoyed his childhood growing up in Lake Oswego, Oregon just south of the beautiful City of RosesPortland, Oregon. He met his sweetheart, Marshfield resident Julianne Baker, while attending Brigham Young University in Provo, UT.
After completing his training at UMKC, Dr. Rockwood was commissioned an officer in the United States Navy. He and Julianne then moved their growing family to Virginia Beach, Virginia where he completed a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Naval Air Station Norfolk. Dr. Rockwood then received orders to serve as a Dental Officer on board the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman.
Following his active duty service, Dr. Rockwood moved his family to Marshfield, Missouri in 2009 and has continued his military service in the Naval Reserves. He has spent the last 9 years serving our community while working at Jordan Valley Community Health Center as a General Dentist.
Melinda is a native to Marshfield and loves serving and working in our great community. She has 12+ years of experience managing the front office of multiple dental practices. She understands the intricacies of dental insurance policies and will assist everyone with maximizing their dental benefits. Melinda and her husband Earl have three grown children and one granddaughter. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors, gardening, camping, fishing and spending as much time as possible with her granddaughter, Kora.
Irene graduated from the Vatterott College dental assisting program in 2006. She has primarily worked in the public health sector with Dr. Rockwood and enjoys educating her patients on the importance of oral health. She also works with the Army National Guard Readiness program ensuring our citizen soldiers are dentally fit-for-duty. She enjoys spending time with her children Dylan, Logan and Miss Wyllow. She also loves taking care of her grandson, Bentley. She enjoys shopping, spending quality time with friends, and DIY projects at home.
Candice graduated from the Ozarks Technical Community College dental assisting program in 2013. She enjoys volunteering with the Missouri Mission of Mercy and has been assisting Dr. Rockwood since 2013. Candice is known for providing compassionate quality care. She considers helping others achieve a beautiful smile and teaching the importance of Oral Care the most important part of dental assisting. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Jeremy, and loves spending time with their two wonderful children, Keaton and Brilynn. She also enjoys traveling, helping friends, cooking and reading.
Brooke completed her hygiene training at Missouri Southern State University in 2017. She enjoys volunteering with the Mission of Mercy and educating school aged kids. She loves spending time with her husband Damon and their children, Skylar, Spensar, and the twins Parker and Brock. She also enjoys attending sporting events for Coach Seiger along with all of the kids practices and games.

When it comes to a dentist I have bad anxiety and this place is absolutely amazing! Rockwood is great! His staff is amazing! Couldn't ask for a better place to go!

I went to have a tooth extraction. Dr Rockwood is so caring and gentle. Brook done a fantastic job on the numbing block. Wow I never knew this place existed.I would highly recommend this place. I would give more stars if possible such a pleasant atmosphere and everyone is so nice.

I brought my 3 kiddos in this afternoon for their first check-up at Rockwood. My kids are 3, 5 and 7. The assistants, hygienist and Dr. Rockwood all made them feel so comfortable! We left with no tears shed from any of them! Every employee was so kind, patient and strived to make relationships with my kids. They wanted them to feel comfortable. The kids also enjoyed getting to watch Netflix during their check-up. It was very clean and they used top notch technology. We are lucky to have such a wonderful office in Marshfield!

PATIENCE, KINDNESS, COMPASSION!!! I just found my new dental family! The whole staff is amazing and Dr. Rockwood put my fears at ease just by his calm demeanor. Brooke did a wonderful job cleaning my teeth and was so gentle and understanding, and went above and beyond measure to fullfill a request I had. I appreciate the time her and Dr. Rockwood took to answer all my questions without feeling like they were rushing me out the door. A great dental experience!!

Dr Rockwood is a wonderful dentist. He has a great personality which makes a big difference when seeing any doctor. He works well with children and those who may be anxious about going to the dentist. I was so pleased with Brooke who cleaned my teeth! No pain which is not always the case at other dental office's. It it worth driving to see Dr Rookwood!

I just had my cleaning with Dr. Rockwood with Rockwood Family Dental! Dr. Jeffrey Rockwood is fantastic, and I cannot say enough kind words about everyone in the office. What a great experience!! They are accepting new patients, and the wait to get an appointment is very short. If you are in search of a professional, wonderful dentist, I would highly recommend this new office (located across from the golf course on Highway CC/Hubble Drive, where the old clubhouse/Sheila's used to be located).

A quite pleasant experience. The staff is amazing! Dr. Rockwood is upbeat, friendly, gentle and kind. The office is state-of-the-art and you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. I would recommend them highly.
