Originally from Kiev, Ukraine, Dr. Alex Rockwell, immigrated to the United States with his parents when he was 12 years old. By age 15, already working as an assistant in his mothers dental practice, Dr. Rockwell knew that he wanted to follow in her footsteps. Today, he and his wife Dr. Dawn Rockwell, are proud to provide comprehensive dental care to patients in Middletown and Hamilton, New Jersey, at Rockwell Dentistry. Doctors Alex and Dawn are looking forward to having their twin children Eric and Natasha, who are in Dental School now, to join them.
Dr. Alex Rockwell attended Brooklyn College in New York City and then earned his doctorate in dental medicine from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, New Jersey. After dental school, Dr. Rockwell spent the following years studying and gaining experience in Oral Surgery, and Endodontics. He also pursued advanced training in Periodontics, Implantology, and Acute Care.
Dr. Alex Rockwell, in addition to private practice, teaches at Temple University School of Dentistry passing on his knowledge to the dental students. As an attending doctor at Monmouth Medical Centers dental clinic in Long Branch, New Jersey, Dr. Rockwell also provided training and taught clinical dentistry to the residents in the hospitals dental program. Today, he regularly participates in advanced courses, seminars, and study groups that address unique areas of dental care. He wants to ensure that every patient in his practice encounters a highly skilled, proficient dental professional at the top of his game when it comes to providing state-of-the-art dental care.

Dr. Rockwell maintains affiliations in several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Outside of the office Dr. Rockwell enjoys spending time with his wife, Dr. Dawn, and their twin children, Eric and Natasha, who are currently in Dental School studying to follow in their parents footsteps. Dr. Rockwell also enjoys playing and coaching hockey with Eric, skiing, golf and auto racing.

If you need any type of dental work go see Rockwell dentistry. They have offices in Middletown & Hamilton NJ. I've been going to them for years. Everybody there is professional & courteous. Dr Rockwell will make sure you will have a million dollar smile without a million dollar price tag. They are the best in NJ.

I am so thrilled with Rockwell Dentistry! I did a search via my insurance provider's list and the first one on the list was Dr. Rockwell. I was so beyond fed up with my dentist at the time, so I made a call and got Maria, the office manager, on the phone. Maria took extra care and reassured me that I would not have any issues like the ones with my previous dentist, and got me an appointment right away. She let me know exactly what to expect to pay, and I got off the phone with a sigh of relief, that a weight has been lifted that I found an office I could trust with people that care. I've been there many times at this point. The office is clean and beautiful, and I have been assisted by Maria at the front desk, Hailey as the assistant, and Dr. Alexander Rockwell. Each person is patient, knowledgeable, and really willing to go the extra mile to get people taken care of. I was instantly welcomed by this practice, and have zero concerns. I would 100% recommend to everyone, you should really choose Dr. Rockwell!

There are dentists, and then there is Dr. Alex. The moment he walks in the room you know it because you are immediately laughing at a joke he dropped. The office operates like a well oiled machine, a team of individuals with a common goal to provide you with the very best care without the stuffy environment. I am so grateful to have found a place I can trust with my smile. Every procedure is painless and timely. I have never waited for the doctor, choked on my own saliva during a procedure( thanks Hailey!), or even laughed at the dentist office until now. If you can't say the same you are 100% going to need to call lovely Maria at the desk for an appointment. Dr. Alex is my guy and he should be yours too.

I have gone to Dr Rockwell for over 10 years. He and his staff are excellent at what they do and very caring. Best teeth cleaning you will ever get. I have had crowns and other work done as well. Always a great job.

Had a bad toothache on a Friday call and made an appointment on the following Monday pain had subsided and dr Rockwell suggested we wait to see if pain returned or just went away in my mind that showed honesty and professionalism would definitely recommend his practice

Never had issues with dentists except for sensitivity. Doctor Rockwell accommodates that and the work that I needed was relatively pain free. Maria is excellent with explaining what insurance covers and what patient's responsibility is this way you can plan your visits accordingly. My whole family comes here and although he's not a pediatric dentist my son loves them and Nancy is a great hygienist and wonderful with him.
