A longtime resident of Montgomery County, Dr. Tong graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore College of Dental Surgery with his D.D.S. degree, after receiving his Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland at College Park.
Dr. Tong is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care in a gentle and comfortable manner. He attends extensive seminars, workshops, and lectures to stay on top of the latest dental techniques and materials available in modern dentistry. He obtained advanced training at the world renowned Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Studies. In June 2012, he was awarded the Mastership of the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD). Less than 2% of all general dentists in the United States and Canada have received this honor with the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). This commitment to excellence allows him to utilize the newest proven techniques to maintain the best dental care for his patients.
Our Office Manager Mara is a mother of three, a youngest sister, and an auntie. Born in Olney, raised in Frederick, and currently resided in Germantown, she enjoys weekends that include family outings, playing Scrabble and other group games with friends and of course as a true Marylander, eating crabs. A Tennessee native with deep southern roots, Kelly began her career in dentistry in 1981 when she became a certified dental assistant. After 17 years of dental assisting, she decided to expand her commitment to dentistry by becoming a dental hygienist. She graduated fromAlleghany Collegedental hygiene program in 1998. Since then she has been providing outstanding care to all of her patients. She is a member of the Maryland Dental Hygiene Association and the Montgomery County Dental Hygiene Association.
Kelly enjoys spending time with her daughter Katie and grandchildren Saki the chihuahua and Sushi the tabby cat! She also enjoys kayaking, bird watching, and travel. As a true southerner, she will make you feel right at home.
Hai is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association and the Montgomery County Dental Hygiene Association. She has received advanced training and certification to administer local anesthetics. She thoroughly enjoys caring for patients and building a dental and personal relationship with them.
She has been happily married to Khai and has a very handsome son named Aaron. She enjoys music a great deal, likes cooking, and loves spending time with her family. She is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.
