Dr. Modarres has always enjoyed working directly with his hands and building things. He also has a lifelong passion for medicine and really enjoys being able to see the direct results of his efforts throughout the treatment process. Dentistry was the perfect combination of these two ideals, and all these years later, he still feels fully confident that he made the right choice for his career!
Dr. Modarres is happily married to his wife, who is an internal medicine physician. They have two boys together and love traveling and biking as a group! When it comes to personal hobbies, Dr. Modarres also enjoys swimming and playing the setar, which is a traditional instrument from Iran.
Many of our team members drive over an hour to come to our dental office despite having employment opportunities closer to home, and they do it because they love the atmosphere of our dental office as well as the level of care our patients receive. Monica has been working with Dr. Modarres for over a decade. Originally from Baltimore, Monica has been in the field of dentistry for over 33 years. She helps all of our patients stay on top of their treatment plan, and navigate the world of dental insurance.
Rachel became a Dental Hygienist in 2016. She attended the New York University Dental Hygiene Program and worked in New York City as a hygienist for one year before returning to Maryland. Originally from Silver Spring, Maryland, Rachel continued her education and obtained her Masters in Public Health. Her ideal goal is to help under-served communities with dentistry and healthcare.
Brita was born and raised in Long Island, NY. She received her degree in dental hygiene from SUNY Farmingdale. Her particular interest and focus has been in treatment of gum disease and with her very good understanding of general dentistry she is an asset in helping the doctor guiding the patient to obtain optimum oral health.
Keri has been working in dentistry for almost two full decades now! She loves the variety of procedures we do here in the dental office, as well as all of the different people she gets to know over time through her position.
Originally from Buena Park, CA, Keri and her husband Richard have one son. In her free time, you can usually find her doing something that involves the water, whether thats scuba diving, swimming, kayaking, boogie boarding, or exploring waterfalls. She also enjoys hiking, taking road trips (shes driven across the country three times already), and hanging out with her loved ones.

I've been a patient of Dr. Modarres for quite some time now and I've never had one single complaint, not one bad experience nothing at all. Not only is he amazing but so is the staff there. Monica at the front desk is so incredibly helpful and kind and his assistant always is the absolute nicest. I can't say enough great things about him and all the staff including the dental hygienist there. So if you are looking for a dentist office I would highly recommend Dr. Modarres.

Dr. Moddares, in my opinion - is an outstanding dentist. He is technically brilliant, and has great chairside manner. Additionally, his office staff persons are professional, friendly, and it is a pleasure to visit his office. Last comment, his office decor is as "good as it gets"and super clean.

Great dentistry! Dr. Modares is amazing at his job and really cares about his patients. The staff are also super nice and quick (I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes). Overall a great experience, would definitely recommend.

I have been seeing Dr. Modarres for years and he is without a doubt the best dentist I have ever had. In fact, my sister is a dentist (out of state) and she is always impressed by the care I receive. He has excellent hand skills, does high quality dental work, is very thorough, and gentle. He is a straight shooter--does not recommend work that is unnecessary, is informative and very clear about treatment needs and options. The dental hygienists are excellent and provide lots of education. I highly recommend Dr. Modarres and his team!
